Did everyone here that "IT" Is going to be remade? Sometime in like 2010 or 2011
Yeah, it's supposed to be episodic, with a huge budget.
Yeah, it's supposed to be episodic, with a huge budget.
And it's supposed to be rated R.
when I was younger someone told me Pennywise cut somebody up with a chainsaw and I never wanted to watch IT :v:
I hate how in his mid to later books he repeats himself all the fucking time. It gets annoying how he repeats himself all the fucking time. You know how he just re-words a sentence and then repeats himself all the fucking time, so he can really drive a point home by repeating himself all the fucking time. Like in Cell where he repeats the name of that fucking song and the characters talking about that fucking song. OVER AND OVER. Or that shoe the girl had.
I hate how you repeat yourself all the fucking time.
Cell was really boring, nothing really happened until the end [editline]12:15AM[/editline] [sp]but I was upset when Alice died[/sp] :frown:
wow, i just started reading IT last night! awesome book by the way
that movie ruined my childhood
I really want to read "IT", but Im kinda scared to, clowns are fucking creepy :ohdear:
Well he's not always in the form of a clown...
I really want to read "IT", but Im kinda scared to, clowns are fucking creepy :ohdear:
This was the first book, that I have found absolutely terrifying. And I really do mean terrifying. I'm not just being a kind critic. It is a truly magnificent, terrifying piece of fiction.
First watched it when I was 5, I shat bricks that night.
First watched it when I was 5, I shat bricks that night.
I remember watching it when I was really young. I was at my beach house with all my cousins. Screaming and going crazy. Good times..
I've only seen the movie, but I really want to read the book.
I think I might have watched this film as a small child, and that's where my coulrophobia stems from. Still, it seems a good read. That's the point of horror, the adrenaline rush.
Am I the only one who thought the movie was really funny for no reason
"Wanna buy a balloon? They float. They all float... They... All.... Float. *>:) face*" "Hi son! I live here now! Come on over here! ... .... Why not.... You wanna buy a ballooooonn? They FLOAT!" *Demon crawls out from river*" "You an your paper boat back? Just reach down here, Im just a clown, whats wrong? Just reach for it. There we go.... And .. heres ... the .. time ... to .. STRIKE! *kills child*" Damn, Pennwise knows how to fuck with peoples heads. Hell, since he didnt kill the children when they were young, he kept hunting them. When he finally killed this guy, he was in the bathroom with a knife in his chest. They bury his body, then at his farewell party, one guy opens the fridge, about 40 ballooons fly out (Dont ask me how) and his severed head is there. Creepyshitiscreepy
kiss me fat boy
Heh. Watched the movie when I was still in kindergarten, meaning I was less than 7 years old. Was terrified afterwards. But I watched it again haha. When watching it for he first time I hid behind the couch when the scary parts came on. I had this clown bed sheet. I refused to use it afterwards. Good film. Haven't read the book but I think I will in the future. BEEP BEEP!
I just finished reading "Atlantis" , it was a pretty weird book but it made me read Lord Of The Flies afterwards. [editline]12:06PM[/editline]
Am I the only one who thought the movie was really funny for no reason
Yea it's pretty cheesy sometimes and the overall 90's look doesn't help either. [editline]12:08PM[/editline]
This was the first book, that I have found absolutely terrifying. And I really do mean terrifying. I'm not just being a kind critic. Or when the one boy steps into the skull of the lost girl. I also remember the scene with the freezer/fridge and the boy who let animals starve in them. Jesus, fucked up. [editline]12:08PM[/editline] Salems Lot was one of his most atmospheric ones.

[editline]12:08PM[/editline] Salems Lot was one of his most atmospheric ones.
Thought they died from lack of air before starvation, not sure though, fuck I should know this, read the book 4 times in a row. The movie really doesn't compare to the book, I mean, no movie is ever really as good as the book, but god damn, it's like they ripped out 700 pages of the book and left the rest for the movie.
The sequels to Firestarter were abominations. But the movie itself was fucking amazing.
I only recently saw the Firestarter movie and liked it alot actually.
The Dead Zone, Firestarter, The Mist. What do these have in common? [sp]The best Stephen King movies [/sp]
I didn't think Firestarter was that great
The Mist is a great story and a fine movie. I like the short stories the most. Also gonna read The Stand real soon, I got to the part where the fat kid and the girl meet the guy somewhere, but the library wanted it back ;__; [editline]07:18PM[/editline] Only author I love more than King is probably GRRM

Well Okay, if you insist.
IT is so far, the only horror story which has given me the shivers. Pennywise's dialogue from the first few chapters made me :ohdear:
