Do you have the 1.8 8v or 16v?
And what in gods name intake / magical injectors are you running to even do this.
You are a mad man. But I would really like to see more.

Will probably be selling this and picking up a RX8 so I can track and autocross, not about that drift life, but going to miss driving this car.

Your engine doesn't look shot :v:
I can't tell, is there an engine underneath all that plastic?
I can't tell, is there an engine underneath all that plastic?
I hate modern engines :( even mine looks shite. I'd kill for engines to look like the good old Alfa busso V6 again.

1.8 8v with Megasquirt 1 (EMS Pro), GM LS6 28lb/hr injectors, VR6 TB, Crane 286 cam, TT 4-1 long tube header, self made 2.5" stainless exhaust, and some other stuff that I can't remember.
It made 80hp/83lb-ft on our mustang dyno with the CIS fuel injection, after megasquirt it made 120hp (5500rpm) and 123lb-ft (at 2500rpm)
That picture was me playing with MS1s variable launch control. I also realized that I don't have any good engine bay pictures, so I stole another one from one of the dyno videos.

Could always take the covers off... I think they're doing the industry a service by keeping the stupid from working on their vehicles
I don't mind covers, they're easy to remove. what I do mind is overcrowded engine bays. I have a car with a locked up motor that I haven't fixed purely because I can't even fit a breaker bar between the crank pulley and the inner fender.
and my masochistic ass wants to pull out the nice compact GM high value put a small block in there
How does 2015-16 WRX handle in deep snow?

Next year I'll do a little more work on our stuff and see if I can con one of the kids into being rocket raccoon and the other Groot.
Idk what you paid for those rotas, but you could have imported nice used real wheels cheaper.
I hope the trick or treating went better in cali. It's cold and raining here (just sleeted, too) and hardly any kids were out and about spooking around.
I skipped halloween this year because last year I went all out decorating and literally 3 kids came through the entire night then the house got egged then my car got egged then my mom's truck got egged. My dad's mustang got egged too but it was under a cover. Fuck Halloween :<

You'd think the middle of california suburbia would be the best place to do halloween but nooooope
It usually rains but not this year. Buncha kids out and. Our kida had fun. They only make it a few blocks usually. We get eggings and stuff too. Not in this part of town so much but it happens.

I didn't think going from CIS to Megasquirt would yield such a large power bump. Makes me wonder what my CIS injected Benz would running Megasquirt instead. How much did setting up the injection system cost you, and did you have to do any mods to the head to make them fit?

The old Bosch fuel injection systems were really not very good, there's a reason why people converted cars back to carburetors for the longest time for more power and reliability. Megasquirt is really badass and there's even like Microsquirt which is even cheaper, there's so many options out there now it's insane.

I had a pretty sweet undead viking getup with a straw poked through the mouth for booze drinkin. Girlfriend was also a viking, and my friends were a mexican gynecologist, a farmer, and keanu reeves from some wierd 80s movie. We had my sister drop us off and pick us up, we did some serious barhopping downtown. Met a trio of mario, luigi, and another obgyn, who were pretty cool dudes to hang out with. Saw a lot of really good costumes last night. my favorite was probably top gun maverick and goose.
Simplest, cheapest outfit I could come up with on short notice

Us folks who have CIS-E in 80s MBs don't seem t have many issues with them. The biggest problem with CIS is that troubleshooting can be a pain in the ass. Also, I'll take K-Jet over D-Jet any day, but I'll have to give these new options a try at some point though.
Had my exhaust middle part snap from the backside few weeks ago. Had to drive 130km(and that's for one way) without exhaust to get a new one because the parts stores in my city are so shit. My ears hurt now a bit.

I dressed as myself only in nicer clothing for my concert and date last night. Haha. I was too lazy to get a costume.
I stayed home and drank. Gotta work today. :\
I played hockey in the morning and ended up drinking with the friends all day. Was a good night.
I played DayZ with my buddies way too late into the evening the night before and woke up hungover. 1/10, would not recommend a 'Country' concert as hangover cure the next night.
Went on an adventure to places that lie west of Valley Forge

That MB parked in the grass led me to a neat antiques and crafts shop. So I went inside and talked to the owner of the shop for a bit, who has owned that car for 18 years, and she referred me to a specialist shop to help me get my electrical problems sorted out.
So I got a solution for what I'm getting my mom for her birthday, and the first step in resolving all of my electrical issues that I can't troubleshoot. Today has been a productive day.
