Film. I already made a poor choice in getting a film major, so I got to go all the way and try to make it in the industry.

Also, is Volvo the only company that doesn't sell an individual tstat for their turbo models? They make it so you have to replace the whole housing. $100+ versus $10. Thankfully Rock Auto has the appropriate thermostat, but that's the ONLY place I've seen it.
I just spent an hour making another chain for the cheap-ass Merc keyring I got in the mail from china today
The one it came with is on the left.

I''ve ordered a key from Mercedes since I don't have the original one. Only the remote thing
Ended up ordering a Dual XML8100 for the Detroit.
Have had the one in the car for about two years now and love it.
Will be an excellent upgrade, going from 3W RMS to 17W RMS.
Already have Pyramid speakers in the truck (2x3.5" in dash, 2x4"x10" behind seat corners) that are 5x better than stock on this old radio.
Will likely have to cut the dash to fit it :( The kit that Metra sells isn't for the Silverado trim, and I can't find a spare Diesel Silverado bezel, so it'll be a mess to repair later on if I need to.
I cant wait to see more info about the new 2017 Mazdaspeed 3, 320hp and AWD, maybe i will replace my current mazdaspeed 3 2010 to this one if they get good review, though reliability cant be worse than subaru STI, and mazda actually get better over the years.
I emailed the dude about the Stealth. Serj. I need your help. How many projects am I allowed to have at the same time?

As many as you have space for and by space I also mean people willing to let you park your stuff at their place, find a person with a farm and youll be set for a while.
Was at the shop today banging out an electrical problem while the shitbag Stratus was getting a timing belt. Did I mention it was baaaad? The whole belt looked like this. Close call.

And then went to make some worksite signs for a friend at my other friend's garage. Here's the FX16 he's got just chilling in there. As the story goes every time that car gets brought up it's "Hey.. when's he going to come get this car??" Lol not soon enough.. I'm waiting for the right time; need my garage first. Then it'll have a comfortable place to stay while it gets restored. Talk about a stupid car to restore.. but, oh well. It deserves to hit the road again. Right now it has a miss under light acceleration, too. No big deal. Someday.. someday.

I'm not sure I've ever really posted in here, but maybe someone can help me out? I backed into my brother's car the other day and chipped a bit of paint (the whole layer) in a few places, then popped the bumper out. I drive a 2013 Ford Fusion SE. I went to Maaco and they want $988, then got a quote from Ford for $1300, both being absolutely ridiculous for what little damage it is. I'm thinking of finding a bumper unpainted and then paying to have it painted as it'd save money, but I can't seem to find any OEM bumpers online. So my question is do any of you know any good sellers online for car parts? Should I check a bumper scrapyard? Should I contact my local ford dealer and buy one straight from them? I'll do anything to not pay too much money. I'm not an expert on collision so any advice is good advice right now. Thanks in advance.
Try [url]www.rockauto.com[/url] they typically have bumpers. For a large piece like that, though, you're probably still looking at a couple hundred dollars. Paint will cost a few hundred more, depending on the shop.
You can try a junk yard, but a 2013 Fusion might be too new for the yards to have many parts. Insurance companies and shops tend to hoard newer cars to use for parts on their client's cars.
If you want to save money then just don't fix it.... seems easy enough to me??
There's no such thing as a 'cheap' body/paint repair if you want it to look good. And if it doesn't look good, what's the point of doing it?
To truly to it right the paint will probably have to be blended onto the surrounding panels, which is where the cost comes in. Especially if it's a metallic color.
Simply buying a bumper cover from the dealer and then getting it painted would still be like $500 for a shop to do, give or take. Materials add up.
Wait a year or two until the 2013+ models become available with 'painted ready to ship' options on ebay;

You can't buy the paint and bumper for that cheap, let alone the labor to have it sanded and shot. It's a good-ish deal even if it isn't the best quality paint. The guys who do that stuff sling paint all day (like Maaco) so although the paint and bumper materials are cheap, the finish is generally pretty good. It's a good option to slap a new cover on to get a car sold or something along those lines.

12.
But if one's a Dart, it must be completed immediately. Stealth though... that's a pretty... ya know, well it's a car. Yeah, a car.
But is it really just a car? I mean... The new Dart is named after the old Dart and it has the 2.4L engine based off of the 2.5L engine in a 1991 Daytona that also came with the 6G72 the Dodge Stealth had... I mean. Is it really that long of a shot? It's practically a Dart.
Bae threw a P0125 Insufficient coolant temperature for closed loop fuel control today. First time since last winter I've driven her under/at freezing. Had the heat blasting and the coolant temp was like 155f. Gonna see if it comes on while driving back home from class. Hopefully it stays off and I won't have to do some fuckery with the thermostat.
Tried to schedule a time to meet on Saturday for the Corolla and apparently he has a buyer lined up for tomorrow already. :C

Be there really early and offer 100 more bucks, that'll help seal the deal.
Early birds and worms and all that.
New cab markers came in, they're much clearer than OEM. Looks amazing.
Managed to save two OEM markers, the others were toast.
Had a hunch to stop at a pawn shop today, found a Garmin Nuvi 2555LMT for $45.
Retails for $150+ new, works great, just need to order a window mount for about $8-10.
Pretty sure my bike injectors got rusty water/gas in them, and are now rusted shut. Try to fix them, or just get new ones?
[editline]3rd December 2015[/editline]
Also: Anyone got a link to clear/semi-clear fuel lines? Need some for 10-15% ethanol and I'm sick of playing guessing games with fuel delivery.
dont put corn in your bike
ta-daaaa
I just had a massive brainfart!
If I want to rebuild my cpu controlled ignition to dist and cap. Do I have to do something more that just remove the cables, change to dist and cab (mechanical connected to the engine) and it will work after some tuning?
Or am I forgetting something?

I wish. E85 is all too common around where I live, and I have to go pretty far out just for slightly-less-shitty 5 or 10% ethanol fuel.
[editline]3rd December 2015[/editline]
Can hardly find 93 octane either and my bike pops on 89, too, though I should probably check that out sometime.
Out here in the glorious midwest some places have that e85 trash, but almost every place has 87 and 89 with up to 10% cornshit, and 93 octane good old pure dino oil, no dirty hippie corn juice.
Im in no danger of popping or pinging, my bike is over 30 years old and would probably run on tequila, but the thing I dont want is corn piss sitting in my tank, lines, and carbs, going bad in a month, and leaving that slimy shit all over to clog up my shiny new carbs.
I put 87 in my car though, but thats a different story because it could run e85 if I was a filthy eco-worried hipster.

The new viaggio engine (for some reason you think is a dart)is not based on anything dodge, or even mitsubishi for that matter like the stealth. Its a tigershark fiat with a hyundai transmission. You know better than to compare things to a real dart.
blower motor on my truck became possessed.
took it out got a new one but haven't put it in yet, too tired gonna drive suburban in the morning.
yaaaaaa finally a good excuse to drive it.
Vehicle encased with snow and ice. Too lazy to clean it. Dont have to be anywhere for another day. Rather not be outside dealing with it right now anyway.
Goodbye Talon, you will not be missed.

$1800 and that headache is gone. It's leaking like a quart of oil every 2 days or so. Too much that kept piling on to deal with, in the end it left with an oil leak, and that's it. Time to buy a new one!

Ah like I said I'm not too smart when it comes to collision, I was just looking to save what I could if i could. Just wanted to view my options. Thanks for the information.

If you know someone it gets cheaper had my bumper repainted for 600$ but its not gonna get any cheaper than that.

Yeah I don't expect it to be cheap, I'm just trying to stray as far away from $1k as I can. I'm talking to someone this weekend about it that can hopefully save me whatever they can. Thanks.
Man, what a great person the guy who owns this car must be

It's such a nice car, so the guy who owns it must look really nice too!
