I wish I had some of you on snapchat. This morning at the end of shift I get into one of our neglected squads to move it. Things only got worse once I sat down. First it acted like the battery was dead. Put the key in and nothing happened. To make sure, since its extremely rare to have a dead battery, I take the key out and put it back in. This time it acts like it has juice. Except the dash was lighting up like a fucking christmas tree at a rave while making the worst noise. I saved the video. Ignore the out of focus and no sound (both on purpose for reasons) [vid]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11823009/other/Snapchat-5121562994211274499.mp4[/vid]
This is why I'll never own or drive an impala ppv
Also it's just kinda a piece of shit in every other way except drivetrain. [editline]8th August 2015[/editline] At least according to every cop I've asked about it. And also the fact it's a Chevy.
I think its a Omega
Omega has rounded vents, while the vectra has square vents

Just without the legroom."
Remember when i said the boot of my car would only close by force ? Well i fixed it by moving the hook a bit up. Now the boot closes byitself almost. Sorry for the shitty video
my boot struts are so weak they cant lift it up by themselves french engineering®
Anyone know what's up with this? In Denmark, we have these extra turn lights down the front fender of our cars. I noticed one of them had died yesterday, so I went out and changed it to the working side's bulb. Still nothing, so I put it back in the original side and now both turn signals are shot. Bought new bulbs, still nothing. I inspected the fuses and none seem to be blown. My mind is, however. Maybe a ground wire came off.
speaking of snapchat, ive been prepping for honda day [vid]https://www.dropbox.com/s/uvoacu4819daykq/Snapchat--2833948278274929639.mp4?dl=1[/vid]
speaking of snapchat, ive been prepping for honda day
drop a vtec in it and stance that shit
Been a while! I bought all of these today [t]http://i.imgur.com/jGvjIB6.jpg[/t] TD04 turbo, as an upgrade for the TF035, small upgrade, but an upgrade none the less for a bit more power, not to mention it's only done about 5,000km as the guy upgraded the turbo in his WRX very quickly after he got it. 20mm swaybar to replace the stock 13mm one. 5 wheels, with 100% tred on all of them. Also have on order new suspension, strut brace and upgraded brakes. Since my car was run into (May have seen the video in my dashcam thread), that massive dent on the drivers side is getting repaired as well. It's going to feel so nice having my car presentable and not ashamed of the state it was in anymore, learning heaps as well!
I drove the lesabre to a concert last night like 25 miles away, it drove pretty good besides some issue in low RPM when it likes to lightly lunge forward repeatedly until I accelerate or slow. Ideas? I've had this problem since I bought the car
So since I have a cheap caR. Should I stance it, dip it. Make it loud af and put a whole bunch of jdm stickers all over it? :v: just kidding. I do want to paint it and tint the windows though. I was going to flip it.but I might sell my truck instead
slam it. it's the only way. [editline]8th August 2015[/editline] sparks make it better. [t]http://www.speedhunters.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/IMG_44351.jpg[/t]
280ZX almost caught fire last night when i tried to start it for the first time in a month. Leaky injector, also engine seemed flooded with fuel what do
If it's leaking clean them or get them tested for it change seals for injectors and o-rings. Pull out spark plugs and let them dry most likely they will be wet from extra fuel not sparking. Idk for a 280zx, but for my 240sx to clear a flooded cylinder we either pull out the fuse pump fuse and crank the engine for a few seconds a few times with rests in between to dry the cylinders or let it sit overnight drying. Clean spark plugs good if they have fuel on them.
And also the fact it's a Chevy.
Seems like that's a pretty ignorant thing to say honestly. Chevy has never made a good car? Ford has never made a bad car? Come on man, the car universe cracks wide open when you stop thinking and saying things like this. Had to tow my car to the shop today, couldn't get the control arm bolt onto the control arm. After a couple failures, turns out 10 zip ties can hold a control arm fine
I am completely and utterly stuck on the 405 north right now. Place is a goddamn parking lot. Some accident or something happened half a mile ahead and my exit is in a quarter mile but I ain't going nowhere.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Pb20i0b.jpg[/img_thumb] Thank you 90's RAM 1500 for turning out of your parking space so tight you crushed my car. AND REVERSED BACK INTO THE SPOT FURTHER CAUSING DAMAGE Hey atleast I was in the car at the time, and could get all of the insurance info from the chick who did it. So I don't have to pay for it! C: Though, do Mazdaspeed 6's have their own front bumpers differing from a standard Mazda 6? I'm worried if the shop would have to take a long time to search for parts of a rarer discontinued car.
I'm sure they can find the parts you'll need
Are you going to do the repair yourself?
It's just body panel damage, and I'd rather have the shop purchase the panels and put them on. It's all paid for, and I won't be spending a dime on it. If it was damaged mechanically and not too badly, I'd take a shot at it. But the only real work I've done on a car myself was a simple replacement of brakes, and wheels. I don't have the most experience.
It's just more money out of her insurance
speaking of snapchat, ive been prepping for honda day [vid]https://www.dropbox.com/s/uvoacu4819daykq/Snapchat--2833948278274929639.mp4?dl=1[/vid]
hey we have the same lawn tractor but yours is rusty. I like the steering wheel cover because you can take it off and leave a pack of cigarettes in it while you mow.
I had a craftsman mower that I pulled the deck off, ported and polished, and changed the gearing on that did awesome wheelies and could tow my pickup up a hill easily
Wish I had a tractor. We only have a cheap 150cc mower without power wheels or a collector. It's also too weak for how high the grass has gotten, keeps dying on me.
Had two orders come in in about a day, more Civics, this time a wagon, and a CRX. I was not expecting this many this close together, but I guess that's a good thing. The unfortunate thing is what people are willing to pay for it reduces my profit margin to a minimal amount. Especially when I put in about a week's worth of work into each one. No one really understands that. The sad fact is I will have to stop using nice hardwood and just make these out of pine and spruce, etc... since a board of maple that makes maybe 2 racks - costs me $160.00. The Mahogany that makes two is about $40. 3/4" preplaned construction pine costs me $10.00 for one rack. This is a dilemma as far as quality is concerned, but I am competing with a Chinese company that churns out racks for $160.00 made of plywood, which no one seems to get the difference I guess. I also removed the pricing from the site www.curtisracks.com , because I have to revise what I build these from it seems. It looks like the majority of people wanting them are young without a but-ton of money, so I either change the business model all together to not alienate my potential customers, or make 2 seperate "Lines" like an exotic and an economy line or something. It's a problem for me because i don't like putting my name on stuff i really feel is made of common wood, but if that's what the people want...
good birch marine plywood and iron on veneer for the sides would work and be stronger and more durable than maple [editline]9th August 2015[/editline] and good quality birch plywood can be very pretty with just boiled linseed oil finish
good birch marine plywood and iron on veneer for the sides would work and be stronger and more durable than maple [editline]9th August 2015[/editline] and good quality birch plywood can be very pretty with just boiled linseed oil finish
The lumber yard where I buy my aircraft fin birch is way too costly to make anything but fairings from. Also the time it takes to put a verneer on something is a little cost prohibitive. Maple is pretty strong when you have it in three quarter, even better at four quarter. Putting a verneer on something is an option, but the time is the problem.
I had a craftsman mower that I pulled the deck off, ported and polished, and changed the gearing on that did awesome wheelies and could tow my pickup up a hill easily
If i throw this one in 6th on pavement and drop the clutch she'll pop a cute little wheelie and leave some suspicious black marks on the sidewalk out front. :^) [editline]9th August 2015[/editline] Lawn tractors are great though, we throw a snow plow on it and use it to clear the driveway and paths to the sheds/garage/area for the dog to shit in the winter.
