mine had a cvt. if the tires were aired down you'd just loop the thing right away. at full operating pressure it would come about a foot and a half off the ground and leave black marks

I ended up blowing the transaxle, so I scrapped the frame and transaxle and threw the motor in my shed.
that motor is going on a bicycle sooner or later. it came 13.5 horsepower from the factory and with my modifications is easily making 20+. should be a wild ride
of course it's been in a shed for 3 years now for all I know it seized up
BeamNG.Drive recently added what appears to be a late 90s Corolla / Camry to their list of cars. Though today they added the stanced version. It's amazingly shitty to drive.

That went about how I expected it to.

I "stanced" it previously with the classic tuning trick of completely removing all suspension components. Fun.
I just installed a trans temp gauge....
I put the sender in the bunghole for the line pressure, granted the sender is about 3/8" longer than the plug that was in it....
I took her around for a test drive to see if it had any adverse effects on holding gears and all seems well...... for now....
I need a A pillar gauge pod dillywacker....I hate mounting these gauges under my dash making holes in my dash.....
Drift pig not crown Vic is the coolest car in BMG
Any Texan AAers after a Mustang? '73 Mach 1 that looks pretty sharp for 3500. It doesn't need much done, I wouldn't even touch the paint or interior since I'm a sucker for the unrestored/survivor look.

This one looks like a good buy, it'd be mine if I had the cash on hand.
Been a while since I posted here, but I don't work much on my ride with moving in another city at the end of summer.
Did manage to wax it this weekend. Not too bad for a winter driven, 12 years old car.

The suspension I got around to set up in June really does handle well, but damn, comfort went lower.
GM FE3 Struts + SSC Lowering springs + New bushings/Top plates/Bearings all around.
Upgrade sways link, already had the GMPP kit on the car, bigger, solid sways.
Made myself a set of anti-pogo washer and custom engine mount spacers to rectify the axle geometry, no front end shaking so it's good!
About 1.6" down all around, does look better than the stock 4x4 look and it corners decently now. Way less rear end squat so it does help with putting down the power. Nearly 400 pounds of torque in a Fail wheel drive car is hard to maintain.
I did some work on the bike today, I replaced the headlight and re-bent one of the exhaust pipes to match the one on the other side. It had been bugging me. I also header wrapped both pipes. Looks fucking sexy.
After driving our F-150 for a few weeks it's nice to have something as small and nimble as the Crown Vic to drive.
Mustang update! Doing an alternator update with a 130a alternator. Also doing thermostat and hoses. I had to cut the bracket that holds the alternator to make it fit.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Nw9eWKF.png[/t]
I used a file and dremel too to cut the bracket. I wish I had a death wheel to do it faster
[t]http://i.imgur.com/igykW4Q.png[/t]
It took forever but I got it.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/cHFpe90.png[/t]
There we go.

Tight fit.

Yeeeeah. New alternator looks goood.

The M10 was a mediocre carb motor from the 60's with the horribly bad fuel injection system that was forced onto it that was almost as bad as mechanical fuel injection. Provided the swap was done right it's not a bad buy at all.

I just got back from a 2 week road trip in my dads 2003 F-150.
I got back in my vic after being gone and it felt exactly the same, but shorter and with enough power to get out of its own damn way.
That 5.4 is so damn underpowered for how heavy the truck is. Its only 700lbs or so heavier than the crown vic with 50 ft/lb more torque but its just so slllllooooowwwwwwwwwww.
Should I trade my 2001 ford ranger I got for 300 last year, for a AR-15 with mods, only had 150 rounds shot through it. I've been wanting a gun, and I know the guy who owns it, he was in the military so I know it's taken care of well. He just doesn't want it and rather have a truck for his farm. I'm kind of torn, I've been wanting to sell my truck, but highest offer so far has been 600.

See the 5.0 has 130 horsepower and 130 ft/lbs over my 4.6 and our truck has 3.73's while my car has 2.73's. The truck is so much faster it's absurd. Also our F-150 is even heavier, It's got a good thousand pounds on the Vic at least, so it's silly how sloppy it corners. Makes for a great laugh though.

You lost me at Ford.
I just traveled with my trans temp gauged installed....
Unsure if broke or the trans seriously just never gets past 140*F wile going down the road with the torqe converter unlocked.....
WILL TEST FURTHER WITH A TRAILER

Now you have a taste of the difference between my work F250 and the Subaru; After driving the truck it feels like my car sank into the ground

Nothing wrong with pre-80s Ford. :v: I like early 70s Mustangs but I'm mostly a Mopar guy. Guilty pleasures. Wouldn't mind owning a Mach 1.

what sort of AR15? they run anywhere between $500 and $4000 and the quality matches the price
^What he said.
Get the maker of the gun and any accessories on it, swing by the Firearms Thread for a no BS assessment of what it's worth.
Wanted to replace the lower control arm bushes on the supra.
camber bolts were seized in the bushes sleeves which mean I had to try and grind/cut them to get the LCAs free. Took me 3-4 hours, then had to cut the sleeves and try to chisel them out... What a PITA.
now everything is back together except I don't have camber bolts anymore (ordered them at the dealership, 45$ a piece, need 4 for the front).
At least I'll have new poly bushes for the front upper control arms and lower control arms. New steering rack boots and new struts (tokico blue hp with eibach lowering springs).
Anybody have any clue what may be causing my lesabre to leap forward sometimes in low rpm?
Update on the search:

^Seems like a p. good deal so long as it's all in working shape.

Definitely gonna get more information on this one.

Bad torque converter would be my guess. Sounds like it's locking up when it shouldn't.
So I hit a big bump pulling out onto the highway with the e36, car died after a few seconds.
wouldnt start, just cranked over. I checked for leaks, broken shit, found nothing. google closest tow truck and call.
try starting car again 5 minutes later starts right up... wtf. called back told them I was good since I was 5 minutes from my house, car ran perfect, but died 2 more times if I hit bumps, but started right up.
I haven't confirmed it yet but it looks like I hit such a big bump that the battery moved and ripped the cable off of the positive terminal. im hoping that's it at least because im not dumping more money into this

Really bad brakes could do it as well. Thats how my grandmas old Lumina was. Literally the whole brake system was toast. They weren't grinding or anything but the calipers and hoses were all junk, I think the master cylinder was fucky as well
