Hey question
Slid into a ditch, had to get towed out, and now my car is constantly fish-tailing whenever I drive, and I have to keep the steering wheel nearly facing right just to keep it straight.
How fucked is my Volvo V70 on a scale of "Shit" to "Shiiiiit", because I'd like to diagnose what happened.
Sounds like you at least fucked your alignment, if you're properly unlucky, you've messed the frame up as well.

Fucking fuck
This car has had nothing but shit luck since I've had it. It's a 2005 Volvo V70 and at least once every 2-3 months something goes poopy that makes it go into the shop to get poked at. This time it's pretty severe.
Mine was filled with caffeine pills when I got it. Sadly no cocaine. Ldesu, you really need to clean those alloys, they look disgraceful.
I wash the car every friday at work if I can. This last friday I couldn't though.
two days ago: 34 with 1/2 snow and 1/2 rain. Last two days: -3 (and -9 now).
Blazer locks are frozen. gg. Going to get a ride to buy de-icer

Most likely just bent tie rods. Not very expensive but still a pain in the ass

Key fobs FTW. My mate's USDM V70 wouldn't unlock yesterday, so he asked if I could come by with a heatgun, when I got up there it unlocked without a problem. The electrical in that car is weird though, for some reason they cut up and spliced together the wires for the parking lights, it's really weird.
oh yea, fob is dead. And is in the vehicle.
The truck refused to start again, so I had my brother bring the explorer down and I was able to push start it in the parking lot. popped the clutch in 2nd going around 10mph, started up like a dream. I dont know why it wont start while cranking, either its gelled because its 0 degrees out (despite having plenty of additive), or I never got the fuel system problem solved.
They I get home and my sister took the only spot left close enough to the house to plug in, despite my repeated telling her to kindly fuck off out of my spot, then wouldnt move or give me her keys so I could move it. Bitch.
I need to move out.

What would be a good price for this? Call it an impulse buy, but as I was going into the bar for my birthday last night I heard a massive turbo scream and one of these drives by, jacked up and fitted with all the offroad goodies. I was hooked
My megacab has been doing me good, but it cant hurt to try something different!
These hold there worth even here in Australia When you could buy them new, can expect no pay $8K+ for a non turbo diesel with 300,000km. Mind the 1HZ engine (in the one you have listed) is slow as shit, as my dads 80 series has one. Yes you can turbo them but not a very high level of boost (piston and combustion chamber designs). The money spent on turbo conversion would be worth buy a 1HDT engine.
sorry I don't have much to offer in response to other comments, very much a car noob,
but I got a couple questions for you guys that i'm hoping someone would be able to help me out with
I've got this old toyota celica, 1994 model, it's well overdue for a service so that's the next thing i'll be doing either way, but:
1. if I don't turn it on every day, like, if I leave it off for a minimum of say ~30 hours, the car won't start, needs a jump start; electronics inside etc still work but it's just too weak to start.
I have no problems with turning it on every day, but is that /normal/ or is there likely something going on that shouldn't be? i've tried swapping out the battery and it was still doing it etc, some people have told me I should be able to leave it up to a week without it dying and I feel like when I first got it, I was able too
2. Today I was driving at like 80km/h and the engine just cut out, not sure why, definitely wasn't a stall situation, turned back on fine and i've had no problems since, oil level's fine, wasn't over heating.. Is that something I should be overly concerned about or is it likely it just had something of a hick-up
gonna get it serviced soon either way, just dunno what to make of those things
there's some kind of electrical gremlin happening. god knows what, probably a switch for like the dome light is jammed open
if it happens again bring it in. just once probably isn't anything to worry about.

Park truck on top of sister's car. Problem solved.
Xterra? They're about 190hp, sturdy as shit, but they rust like nobody's business though
They're slow as balls. Even the second generation with the VQ40 is slow. I know they aren't fast but I had concerns for safety with a first gen and the VG33E.
The first generation is also horribly cheap
A good place to buy EP3 bumper and hood? I've been shopping around online and the only stores I find are like, the bumper and hood look straight out of NFS:Underground. Like, seriously, I just need a new bumper and hood, my hood is dented from getting hit, the bumper has a hole in it from the rad support. The civic is all finished and fix, now I just want it looking purdy. Also, while I was on one of those ricy online stores, I found a clear polymer hood thought it would be cool, though wouldn't that chip easily?
Blazer door opened fine today when it was -3 outside like the locks werent frozen at all yesterday. The fuck man.

I couldn't find any aftermarket ones, I don't think the EP3 "3dr" hatch chassis was sold in anything but a Type-R since most are 5dr hatchbacks overseas. You can get the panels from Honda still though.... I think the JDM importers are going to be your best bet unfortunately again, maybe you can find one parting out a front end that's damaged or something.

salvage yard?
salvage yard?
He has a 01-05 Civic Si which is the only 7th gen Civic sold as a 3dr hatch in the US. It didn't sell very well because they stuffed the RSX Base "worst K series motor ever manufactured" into it and tried to pawn it off as an "Si"

yes I know what an EP3 is. still not a bad idea to check local salvage yards for something like a hood
Salvage yard would be my first choice. No harm in looking
