that's good to know in case I ever need to steal a '90s civic but this doesn't work without the right key (I've tried)
Were you using a shaved 90's honda key?

I've already got a geo metro with a TD04 but adding antilag would make the thing 10x more hilarious
Gonna put my money on it having been AMC.
That sounds right - it was either AMC or Ford.
that's good to know in case I ever need to steal a '90s civic but this doesn't work without the right key (I've tried) [editline]15th August 2015[/editline] yeah mopar wouldn't have done that for sure. sort of a toss up between chevy and ford I guess but AMC would have had no problem with that [editline]15th August 2015[/editline] that or maybe international or studebaker [editline]15th August 2015[/editline] it's amazing that when I was a kid studes were really cool but now nobody remembers them
There's an old guy here who buys/sells project Studebakers exclusively, but he won't sell to me because "what's a kid gonna do with a car like this?" Only asshole I've run into in the classic car hobby.
Ohhh my dad used to have a Bronco II and I remember a story where my mom drove it to the store, came back out, loaded up the groceries, got in and started it only to realize she was in someone else's car.

This is my favorite out of all of them. :v:
it's amazing that when I was a kid studes were really cool but now nobody remembers them
Well Studebaker has been dead for close to fifty years outside of the low-production Avanti cars. It's not too surprising.
Just got back from a pretty fun trip. I need new brakes now.
Woah your car looks awesome! What is it?
Well Studebaker has been dead for close to fifty years outside of the low-production Avanti cars. It's not too surprising.
yeah but people remember international and amc though
Woah your car looks awesome! What is it?
I don't remember the year, but I do know it's a mk2 Toyota MR2
yeah but people remember international and amc though
I don't think Stude was forgotten, they're just more expensive to restore/work on in general than Internationals and AMCs, which makes them less popular. AMC also built some of the most notoriously awful cars in the history of American auto, so they won't be forgotten for a while.
I like every amc I've ever driven even. even pacers are cool as hell
I love AMCs but almost the ones still on the road have probably been pretty extensively rebuilt as they were well known for using low quality parts from the factory. They have a lot of character, though. I'd love to have a 71-74 Javelin, but their whole lineup just has something about it.
There are at least 10 unrestored AMCs on the road in my area
In case you guys wanted to see, here are the pictures I took of my uncles kaiser collection. These are just a few of them. http://imgur.com/a/XAKgA
Saw a riced 99 Maxima today. I didnt even think that was possible to do.
I see a lot of riced things that should not even be able to be riced on instagram. I have to advertise to everyone and some of them are my customers, so i can't complain. I'm kind of learning to just appreciate that it makes them happy, and if they put one of my products on top of it, it makes me happy too. I don't mind being associated with it. So far the import rat rod crowd is one of my biggest fans, and I like em. My first out of state order shipped today. UPS was angry about how big the box was. I told them they'd live. That one went to Portland. Also Bananalord I PM'd you my number. Something finally came in the mail for me and the fiancee' though. Super jazzed. [t]http://i.imgur.com/LVLPBA1.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/UyL3YhG.jpg[/t] My grandmother worked as a secretary at an AMC dealership and my father and uncle worked part time driving cars between lots, and got most of their cars second, third, or fourth hand from the dealership for cheap. Dad didn't own a non-AMC til they went bust, when he bought a Dodge Daytona. I'd love to get my hands on one, though. Continue the family tradition, if you will. :v: There's plenty around, but for the most part people want outrageous amounts of money for them compared to Ford/Chrysler/GM cars of the same era. Most seem to be restored or partially restored.
there's a 4x4 eagle wagon for sale not too terribly far for $2000 that I want so badly, and a ran when parked spirit for $600 that I also want very badly [editline]16th August 2015[/editline] I legit want to put a lift kit on an eagle 4x4 [editline]16th August 2015[/editline] such a cool vehicle

AFAIK, the Eagle is basically just a Jeep with an AMC body and transmission, so it should play nice with the Jeep aftermarket.
i legit only want an AMC eagle. Just because the first time I saw one it reminded me of vehicles from Vigilante 8...
There are at least 10 unrestored AMCs on the road in my area
Unrestored doesn't mean it hasn't needed serious mechanical work. AMC had problems with transmissions in particular but also were known to have sub-par QC in general. They could build a good car, they just frequently failed to stop lemons from leaving the factory. Higher end AMCs could be as good as any other high end car, but most AMCs were far from high end. I would be surprised to see an AMC running today with nothing but regular maintenance that wasn't a performance or luxury package.

Eagle wagons are cool as fuck
i legit only want an AMC eagle. Just because the first time I saw one it reminded me of vehicles from Vigilante 8...
I love the hell out of vigilante 8/interstate 76 After mechwarrior online ruined the mechwarrior franchise, i76 is my last nostalgic franchise.
so i put 91 octane in my car which normally I fill with 87 as that was the lowest I saw. I won't go into full details other then I was low on fuel and did not see anything lower. I have to make a return trip which will be 400 - 500km. How fucked am I? Oh and I drive a Ford Fiesta 2013 model I believe.
i legit only want an AMC eagle. Just because the first time I saw one it reminded me of vehicles from Vigilante 8...
Thought my friend had an Eagle.. turns out he has a Javelin and AMX
