Like jeeze, how hard do you people shove and yank your keys to get them to do that?
You don't have to do any of that, after about 100k miles of normal use your key and key cylinder will be worn down enough around the part of the key that locks it in that it will be able to be removed easily through wiggling it ever so slightly.
Were you using a shaved 90's honda key?
hey fuck u man the key for my civic isnt shaved, it has heavy definition and security. Nothing that a $950 F20B special can't fix to your door though.
So as it turns out the Toyota4runner has an airbag in the seat that is prone to failing ,what a stupid fucking design having to change an entire SEAT because of an airbag.
Is it the side air bag, or just the occupant sensor? Occupant sensors are replaceable usually.

The track bar on the F450 decided to not have bushings anymore today. Really uneventful since I've had deathwobble before due to a slightly less shot trackbar in my red jeep. I hit a bump and the work truck starts shaking like crazy and as i let off I just kinda threw a palm up and thought "did the trackbar really just fucking go?".
Car search this weekend didn't go so well :C Saturday: 1. Stopped to take a look at that 99 Impreza. Clean, but the CV was bad, had a cracked windshield (the dealer said he could "find a guy that could slap an inspection sticker on it (!!!!)". Power mirrors didn't work, AC switch was finicky and would sometimes work. The trans fluid was damn near BONE DRY (even after the guy goes "oh you know all that little stuff i wouldn't cover with a warranty, the engine and transmission are my two biggest things" what the fuck, what a joke.) This guy wouldn't budge on the price, and even said he'd do 1900 (asking price was like 1950) with the bullshit inspection. Fuck that guy. 2. '94 LS400 - we got lost on the way to that guys house after the Impreza because we weren't familiar to the area. GPS died and we didn't have data service so we tried calling him with landmarks to see if he could direct us. Then he get all pissy and tried to lecture us about it so we said fuck it and told him we were going to call it a night (it was 9:30). All of this after I tried going to see it the previous Tuesday afternoon (again, 1.5hrs away). I got halfway there, I was running like half an hour late because of a double accident so I called him. We were going to meet at his job but when I called he goes "well I don't know I have customers and stuff and I might not be able to show you the car, but if you came here half an hour earlier it would have worked." I told him I could wait for him to be done with customers but he wanted to reschedule for Saturday which also fell through as I said above. FUCK. Today: My father and I had to go to the Newburgh and Middletown area so we stopped at like 5 dealerships (big and small) and they all basically had either no good selection or shit cars or shit pricing. On top of all of this, my 100mi/day commute is coming up and my Mitsubishi won't survive it; and craigslist is sort of bone dry for my area. eughhh [editline]18th August 2015[/editline] But at least my friend and I swapped the suspension, transmission, and motor out of his $500, 60k parts Baja and successfully put it all into his $1500 200k mi Baja (that somehow is damn near immaculate except for the transmission that died). Hooray!
wow you must live in asshole land
Yeah I was really liking the Impreza up until the test drive when we discovered the bad joint and shit So I guess i've had a pretty ehhh weekend. OH AND THE FUCKING STRIP CLUB THAT WE WERE GONNA STOP BY ON THE WAY HOME AFTER THE WHOLE LEXUS ORDEAL TURNED OUT TO BE CLOSED DOWN. THANKS GOOGLE :C
wow you must live in asshole land
As another "upstate" new yorker I can confirm this
I remember when I was looking for my Crown Vic I heard a dealership had one ex-interceptor. Go to dealership and see it in the back. When I walk up and look at it the first thing I notice is the passenger door handle was ripped off and the door filled with water from the rain. I check the roof and the guy never even plugged up the holes from the light-bar so water also go into the car and the backseat was completely soaked. I check the price and he was asking 6000$. Suddenly the dealer comes out of nowhere and says "Yeah it's a very nice car do you want a test drive?" I just said "no thanks" and left.
So I can't buy my own car because there are two to choose from while my older sisters are away at college (A 2005 Lexus SUV with nearly a quarter of a million miles and a miserable 2008 Honda CR-V). I guess my mom doesn't quite understand that I want a car because I want to enjoy driving, not because I need it as a utility. The woes of being 17. My teenage angst grows with every hour. I'm sure by the time I am allowed to buy a car that BB6 Prelude I posted will be gone, which sucks because that's the main candidate out of all the cars I have been looking at.
The woes of being 17. My teenage angst grows with every hour.
Woh man. I got my first and current car when I was 17. A 17 year old in a 2007 Dodge Charger Pursuit. Hells yeah. I'm 20 now and have 1,2,3,4,5? Yup. 5 cars. Each $500. If you bought a car for $500 and throw in $500 of elbo grease, you'll have a pretty nice car that you know how to fix and work on. [t]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/54t_5m_tsoCp3piXCTDif8CB1m50KSnHuJKcvV60BVE=w1354-h1015-no[/t] The red and blue cars I bought for $500 each. The red one runs and drives. The blue one I bought it had no interior, gas tank, or anything. I had to make it run. I've put about $300 into the red one and it's almost as good as it was when it was made, apart from the paint. The blue one was kick ass until my nephew spun a bearing in it. It's now getting a van engine thrown into it from a van I bought for $500. The Charger I got for $8000. I pay $200 a month to the bank on my loan for it. Almost payed off. These cars have taught me a lot. Which to me is worth more than the car itself.
Hey guys I'm about to buy this car but I'm wondering if it's worth the cost.
