The hose going to the airbox is probably the crank case vent, a little oil in there is normal, as long as it's not pouring in. Any other symptoms? Erratic tach? Lights cutting out? Low idle / bog before it dies? Power loss when you did try to ride it? What's the state of the fuel filter? Also, check into the petcock (if so equipped) to make sure it's not plugged or something, if it's a vacuum petcock make sure the vacuum line is hooked up and working properly. Also.. verify you got the correct spark plugs. I had a jetski once that ran OK, then died, then we found it had water in the tank, did all that same shit you did, and finally found out it had the wrong GD sparkplugs installed in it by a previous owner.

Iridium plug. The gap on mine (which were wore to shit) was 3.5, these were 3.0 he said it was fine and probably pre-gapped or w/e. It bogs before it dies, only when i go to stop, if im riding its fine however i need to always have the throttle going, no pulling the clutch around turns or it'll die. I had to rev the shit out of it on the way to mcdonalds. i decided not to go and swung at the walmart i was next to already because why not. and looked at "STP Fuel System Cleaner" uhm, however if i would rather consolt facepunch first. Also i cant check the fuel filter, its my second bike and im younger.. so like o-o [editline]28th August 2015[/editline] Same bike not me.
Congratulations man Hope you get that new apartment too, something tells me youll need it soon

Grats brosef.
Thanks guys. I now have to officially put a third seatbelt in the back of my car, I'm changing the two outside ones to retractable three points, same as the front seats from a TOW missile carrier (good seatbelts) and then the middle will be a lapbelt. Luckily by april of next year, my other two kids will be out of car seats and just using boosters, which makes everything pretty easy. Retractable seatbelts also make everything easy. I don't know how many could relate to trying to feed a non retractable seatbelt into a carseat, but lets just say it's a pain in the ass to actually make it tight. Gonna have a multi-racial family on top of it too. lol. two pale as hell ghost kids, and one that's 50% black. The apartment I still haven't gotten to see yet, I'm in a state of mixed feelings. While living here is irritating, I am incredibly cool with the landlord. If I'm late on rent, he doesn't ask me anything, just says as long as you pay, it's fine. I don't do that all the time, but I'm not sure how nice the other landlord is. I'll have to meet him. This one allows me to fix all my own stuff in the appartment too - paint, do whatever I want - just have bad neighbors as a trade off. It's also about 1,000 square feet, so I can kind of rearrange it and make room for more people technically. [editline]29th August 2015[/editline]
I took one out took it up the road, orilies... it sat for a long time, 2 months or so.
If it was carbureted, I'd say it's a bleed mixture issue and that's super easy to fix, but you're dealing with fuel injection. Your problem seems to be that it dies at low RPM. This could be a timing or fuel delivery issue. I'm not versed on how timing and fuel delivery is controlled on a motorcycle, but I'm assuming there's some form of crank sensor, an ECU, and a distributor system. Have you pulled the spark plug wires off, and seen if both deliver a spark? You may be running on one cylinder (I'm assuming it's a 2 cylinder) which would allow you to run at higher RPM, but kill it in the low RPM. I'd need a little more info as to how the fuel delivery and spark work on that. But if you have a lot of oil coming out of that hose like you said, one cylinder might have trashed rings and low compression. If it literally leaked out onto the ground, it is a little much. It should just be oily and gross looking, not physically full of oil. What's the easiest way to see if one cylinder is dead? Turn the bike on, have a friend control the throttle just enough to keep it running. Pull a plug wire off (if it's accessible). If the motor starts to run like shit, that cylinder functions. Do the other one, same thing. If you pull one and the motor runs exactly the same, that one likely has no compression.
Also in other news, it's confirmed. Went to the dr. office. Having a third. Figure it out.
You bought a 3rd dart?
You bought a 3rd dart?
Exactly what I was thinking! You've gotta get a third one now for sure, so you can pass down a dart to each kid, then get a hemi dart clone for yourself!

But I can always put a Dart grill on it, and call it a dart. I kinda wanna make a UTe out of it if I get it. Like this, but with nice clean paint and some oldschool garage logos painted on it.
Hello I just "Fixed" My motorcycle, I replaced the sparkplugs, and dumpped my tank. So, I went to florida came back and i got on my bike to start it and it started however it shut off almost instantly and would not restart. I had the feeling to believe there was water in the tank. I bought a hand-pumpped syhon took the gas out and sucked out clear stuff at the bottom of my tank, however it was foggy got it all out and tried to start it, THUS killing my battery, I charged it tried again only putting the "Glorious" product in my bike Sea-Foam and killed my battery in another attempt. I did not put the whole can in the bike and i used as close as I could get to half. So I changed the spark plugs, dumpped my tank, filled it, dumpped it (while i had it off for the plugs) and put everything back together. I turned my key 3 times, and went to starting my bike with regular gas, I might want to get some premium however its all I had available and used it before too, aaand never had a problem before. I got my bike started and revved it, it died eventuallty after just ideling and i turned it back on and it died again only made a sound after a second.. turned it back on and shut it off. I took it on a SHORT TEST RUN and it didnt die at first; however, as I got up my road further it died while trying to pull into food lion..... I am contiplating putting in fuel treatment, and I have some sea foam still in the can left over. (None in the gas thats in there.) Should I dump the tank put premium in it? As everyone says about the Z31, it lost is origins in an attempt to please a larger market. I like the digital dash, but if I could trade that for the straight 6 and shed a few hundred pounds, I wouldn't hesitate

Drove to Portland with my father, we checked out a '98 BMW 328i, a 2003 Saab 9-5 Aero, a 1994 Mazda MX3, and a 2002 Acura 2.3CL. The BMW had a leak, the Saab was filthy and needed some repair (though otherwise good), The Mazda needed a lot of work and the guys were the stereotype shady Russian mobster looking guy to a T (Tracksuits, the mazda had a fucking baseball bat in the rear), and the Acura was just being flipped by another shady Mobster looking guy who'd barely owned it for a month. All were 1k+ overpriced for the condition of the vehicles.
I test drove an '03 Saab 9-5 and have to say the manumatic steering wheel buttons are pretty lacking, but man, that push-button cup holder :v:
