Alfa Romeo GT
Alignment is off
Shitty Chinese tyres on the rear, all tyres have gashes/damage and need replacing
Still haven't checked the tyre pressures and I've had it for like 6 months
Hatchback seal squeaks against lid making horrible noises when left in the sun
Seems to burn oil, but no idea how much or why. Might be because the air intake pipe was cracked WIDE open for God knows how long and it's flossed a ring or a valve stem oil seal with grit.
Discovered it was burning oil because it ran to the bottom mark on the dipstick; engine has made a whining noise since then. Hoping it's just a pulley or something rather than a camshaft bearing.
All sorts of strange electronic buzzes/whines/noises from inside the dashboard (I don't even want to know - it's an Alfa)
Exhaust is blowing; is current the loudest vehicle in the county it's in
Front wing has rust in the usual spot; needs to be taken off and repainted
Air con needs re-gassing
Badges front and rear need replacing because they're faded
Hole in the driver's seat leather
A few missing clips/plastic parts in the boot
DESPERATELY need to sort out ICE so I can listen to my own music
Fuel consumption would suggest there is a hole in the fuel tank; trip computer tells me otherwise
Slowly working my way through the list. Generally though it's been pretty awesome - it makes my old NA MX5 look like... well... an Alfa Romeo by comparison.
Anyone know a reliable place I can get a radio code online?
Volvo s80:
Steering rack is shot
Power steering fluid leak
Throttle is totally fucked so it's constantly revving
Previous owner had a shit clear coat re-paint on the roof so it's peeling like crazy now.
A/C is on the fritz, not a leak so it has to be the compressor.
Needs a serious tune-up
oh yeah and the catalytic converter is going.
And most importantly: Volvo didn't make the s80 in a manual transmission
An I don't feel nearly Swedish enough when I drive it, it feels nothing like a Volvo commercial.
My Jag has developed a squeak so there's my issue. I think it's a slightly stuck brake so I'll need to have a play around with with sometime.
It's also too powerful which is the main issue :s:
List of things wrong with my Dart:
Leaks horsepower on the ground.
Also sweats tigers blood.
Big o destroyed the brakes and havent been same since.
The cheap paint job is failing hard. Roof clear coat dissappearing.
Not enough places to mount american flags.
List of things wrong with my newer Dart:
Has power steering
A/C needs recharged.
Valve stem seals allowing oil to be burned.
Power steering fluid leaks.
Teansmission fluid dissappears mysterioisly.
Coolant overflow has hole in it.
When I scream "america!" While flooring it the quiet car package makes it so no one can hear me.
Things wrong with "the new dart":
Fiat viaggio

what do you fuel it with, just wondering
seems about right
[editline]2nd August 2015[/editline]
Why would you even track this. Theres no way you expected some kind of good reading. Its made to be hammed on
To see just how bad it is? Or just to track miles and money spent on fuel? I'll put it in even if I've missed a fuel up or just filing it halfway, just to log mileage and money.
For reference, here's mine:

97 octane minimum, 99 if I'm near a Tescos.
97 octane minimum, 99 if I'm near a Tescos.
Ah, I thought you would have gone with vpower, tescos 99 is good it's basically just BP, I try and use it in my car all the time now
Things wrong with the Freestyle:
A/C blows hot air, busted compressor and condenser
Shakes violently when braking from a high speed
Has a weird whirring noise at high speed, wheel bearing maybe?
3 of the 6 seats have some sort of stain on them
Dents all around from people falling on the hood, hitting it in the school parking lot, deer, hail, etc.
Clear coat starting to go out
Exhaust starting to fail, getting obnoxiously loud
Brakes screech, probably should change the pads (and probably rotors too)
Getting ever closer to that magic 150k miles where most CVTs seem to crap out
01 cummins:
Sweats a little oil
Rip in the drivers seat
Could do with a paint job
Hood is black since the red one flew off, getting a cowl hood today
CD player only plays CD's if you slap it like the cheap whore it is
Honestly nothing else
03 eclipse:
battery dead
funny sounds from the engine
very rough suspension
paint is done
window tint is done
coins in the cupholder melted into the console
brakes work if you pray hard enough
HID out on one side
no air conditioning, which is great with a black interior in texas
radio worked until it melted
at least it's not a prius
80 Pontiac Firebird
-Brakefluid container leaks a bit
-Smells like grandma
My 88 Mustang
ALL of the suspension squeaks (I gotta grease it??? Maybe need new bushings)
Steering wanders
Rear right caliper leaks fluid
Overheats after 30 minutes of driving
Gauges have a bad ground they are never accurate
Radio works but none of the speakers are wired (Previous owner had a shitty sound system)
Door handles suck asss (no solution for this really)
Need to smack the doors to make the electric windows go up.
Sunroof leads EVERYWHERE
2 low for me (scrapes on speed bumps)
My 95 Miata
Need to clean it
Oil change soon
Rain rails need to be cleaned
List of things wrong with your car time!
Cavalier:
Air conditioning doesn't work.
Cruise control is broken.
Coolant is a below where it should be and probably needs to be flushed. I'm putting it off...
The heat shield above the muffler is rusted out and hanging on by a thread. I imagine a few more months of potholes and it's going to fall off into traffic.
There's some alternator whine / interference on the audio output of my Car PC. The alternator whine kind of sounds like turbo whine. Not very noticeable with music, just on podcasts.
Lots of shitty, rattling plastic.
Windshield is scratched, chipped and pitted to fuck. No cracks, though.
Summer tires are beginning to get low on tread, though I think they should be good until next year.
Some rust spots on the body.
Runs great otherwise! It should hold me until I start shopping for new cars next year.
Man, I can't believe this shit, I think I'm getting trolled on Craigslist. Found a really good deal on a Veloster Turbo, emailed and asked about it, guy said he had it but ignored followup question about condition so I sent him a followup email and asked if we could talk on the phone.. Guy asks for a pic to prove I'm not spammer, so I say what the hell and send him a quick selfie (I've met some crazy people on Craigslist so the thought of someone being that paranoid doesn't necessarily surprise me). To my surprise, instead of replying with a phone number I can fucking call and buy the car with, they said "Cool cute". Kinda funny, but a lot fucking annoying
Impreza (Keep in mind, 240k miles);
Few dents, miscolored panel, etc. That'll be solved in the next paint job when it cools down this fall.
Still consumes oil (due to using M1 oil when it was younger.)
Left front tire has very slow leak
Carpet has a hole from driving it for years without floor matts (found a set ~3 years ago that doesn't fall apart every few months.)
Some gas pumps dislike it and refuse to pump gas, others have no issue with it.
Body still tweaked from being rear ended ~5 years ago. No way to fix it, already replaced what I can.
'84 Detroit;
The cab needs rockers, corners, etc. Some of it is just going through, some is pretty bad, though still very sturdy.
Hood, fenders, doors need dents + surface rust sorted out. Wanting a small (2") cowl hood.
Bed will likely be replaced, was overloaded and the bottom rippled, has rust around fenders.
Power steering leaks, likely the seal on the hoses.
Left tank leaks.
A/C missing compressor
Interior needs the standard dash cover, door cards, etc.
Bottom of seat is new, top needs to be redone.
As a daily driver, it'll last for years. As a restoration, it'll take years.
It runs beautifully, gets 20mpg on average, and has decent power before i even have modded it.
Blazer
Driver CV axle
Power steering pump seal
Alignment (shop fucked it up and didnt account for driver weight)
Rear wiper
Plastic trim clips need replacing...
--
Compared to everyone else, now I dont feel as bad about this vehicle. I did find like 4 blazers on Craigslist for like $1200 each that are in prime condition. Thought about picking one or two up just to have
2006 Mazda3:
• Rusty (but what else do you expect from a Mazda?)
• Handbrake is on passenger's side so you can rub your passenger's thigh and spill the drinks in the cupholder
• Dashboard over the glove box is misshapen from melting in the sun
• Clutch went from working fine to not grabbing at all overnight, needs to be replaced
• Needs new head gasket
• No factory AUX jack means I have to use cheap adapters from eBay that break every six months
• Burn holes in the driver's seat
• Gotta hold nozzle halfway out otherwise it won't pump gas
• Crappy, peeling paint job on the wheels
• Metal shift knob is either scalding hot or freezing cold
• Low and stiff, perfect for our shitty NY roads
• Needs new AC compressor, kinda works but rattles a lot
Still better than the '08 Kia Spectra5 that I'm driving while the clutch and head gasket get replaced:
• Driver's side door only opens from outside
• Stereo stuck at full volume
• Speaker on passenger's side is water damaged, sounds absolutely awful
• Various pieces of exterior trim falling off
• Smells like cigars, dog hair, and curdled milk
• Burn holes everywhere
• Two outlets, neither of which work
• Windshield weather stripping likes to dislodge itself
• Entire car shakes violently above 60mph
• Hatch is stuck closed, handle is broken
• Gas pedal has significant dead zone
• Squeeky brakes
• Curb rash on all four tiny wheels
• Sun visor falls down sometimes when you hit a bump
• Horribly slow automatic transmission
'10 Focus

-dual mass flywheel is dead
-clutch is dying
-rust all over

05 Silverado
windshield has about 10 cracks
rear passenger side door caved in from when a dirt road washed out and I slid into a tree.
a/c likes to suddenly and without warning start blowing hot air instead of cold, ignition has to be turned off to fix
none of the gauges work
gauge and clock/radio back light flicker when I hit bumps
leaks out about a quart of oil every 2 weeks
headliner fabric fell off, foam is rotting away
center console glove box doesn't close

lower plastic part of front bumper is missing
the nut that holds the spare wheel to the underside of the bed is rusted in place
the front passenger side caliper sticks shut occasionally
needs new rotors
the tool box is only held on with one bolt
the tailgate latch is broken
after just under 300,000 miles it no longer does burnouts
2003 Impala
windscreen seals leak, floor is perpetually wet
dash is cracked
front passenger side hub is toast
frame is tweaked, can't be aligned
due to bad alignment and bad hub it eats tires every 2 months or so
if it idles too long it starts to misfire
no cruise control
2005 Malibu
no wipers
missing interior trunk latch button
threw a rod, haven't had time to put a new engine in yet
the the oil pan is cracked (I didn't know this until it all leaked out, which is why it threw a rod.)
the oil idiot light doesn't work (also didn't know this until it was too late)
2008 F150
exhaust leak
everything else leaks or burns oil and has no other problems other than worn paint or worn interior

Buying an aftermarket radio with bluetooth/USB in it is probably the best thing you can do.
My factory radio had an aux option, but no aux port.. because GM.
Ah, I thought you would have gone with vpower, tescos 99 is good it's basically just BP, I try and use it in my car all the time now
Vpower doesn't actually state what octane it is. I usually fill up at BP as I'm a rewards Jew and use my rewards credit card and nectar card.
Beetle:
Paint is really crap
Interior needs sorting out
One high beam has a bad connection, sometimes it doesn't work, then it works when I rev up the engine, and then keeps working until I turn it off and back on again (not always)
The front wheel bearings need to be tightened.
Subaru:
The paint is really matte, been polished through to the filler some places
Small dents
Leaking a tiny bit of gearbox oil from the speedometer wire
Left front brake is crap, I have new rotors but are waiting for new pads to arrive.
The gear knob has a tear on the 4wd-button
2007 Dodge Charger Pursuit:
Dash is going out
Vibrates when clutches engage during TC lockup
1995 Dodge Dakota Sport:
The exhaust is rusted away, loud as a MOFO now
No front grill
Dodge rust on bed
1989 Dodge Daytona ES Blue:
Engine is dead, getting a new heart

Bent rear torsion bar
Smokes?
Let's play a game!
Piston rings, valve stems, or head gasket?

Doesn't smell like coolant, is white, maybe light gray. Only smokes at VERY high RPM.
1999 Mitsubishi Galant:
-AC is weak, but works
-Clunking in the suspension errywhere

1986 Toyota MR2:
-Leaks oil (Have O-ring, just gotta put it in)
-Needs new tires
-Idles way too high
-5th Gear popout issue (common on '86 models, I need a new transmission)
-Wiper linkage is fucked up (I JB-welded the bushing on with the plate backwards by accident..)
-Desperately needs new paint job
-Need new exhaust (the current one works but is horrendous)
-Fucking brake light keeps going out
