It's all gone :v:
Well I have no idea then other than to suggest you use the stock fan switch in the stock location and absolutely don't use any aftermarket junk to control it. You should still have a fan switch relay in your engine bay fuse box which is also fused. I would suggest just hooking it into the fuse at the fusebox plug which I assume to be after the relay as well and just running a larger gauge than stock wire from the plug. You already have two fan relays in your fuse box which can be more easily replaced or troubleshooted in stock locations. Assuming of course that your definition of gone only applies to the fan side of the circuit and doesn't include the fuse box, coolant switch and ecu wiring lol.
I agree with everything said.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/XbQQ406.jpg[/t] Got into my first accident- never try drifting unless you know for sure you won't couldn't possibly hit anything lmao. Just a guard rail, no one was injured. [t]http://i.imgur.com/LLgwV9Fh.jpg[/t] Managed to bang a few of the dings out and everything works perfectly, looks kinda stupid now tho. Poor RX-7 :(
Was it totalled?
So i've been to the mechanic but he did not have time to check my car when i was there so he told me to come back in the afternoon. He thinks it's this. [t]http://cdn.blocket.com/static/1/images_full/54/5463896148.jpg[/t]
That is a coil pack Saab coils have a tendency to break. So it's not surprising at all that he thinks that.
I guess i'm lucky i'm not going to spend around 300 euros on a new coil pack. Apparently the 9-3s does not have that type of pack like the 9-5s do. So i just needed to order one ignition coil which is around 50 euros.
Have the day off, and I am just itching to build something... but there's nothing to make... or fix...
Beat MGS already? Also double time and a half today $$$
Hasn't driven properly since April this year. Now it won't start anymore either and no one knows how to work on mechanical injection. :( Bit lost for words, drove perfectly fine last year and now it won't start anymore. It'll work fine when it has started (used to start at the 17'th try, now it won't start at all). I've spent a lot of money on different parts (MFI thermostat, HT leads, cap, rotor, etc) but nothing has helped.
just smack it with something it'll be fine [editline]7th September 2015[/editline] MFI is a nightmare just put carbs on it

I'm surprised he even suggested it was that
So, we got my 300 back from camp this weekend after it hasn't been started in at least three years. Who wants to help me rebuild the thing from the ground up? More importantly, who wants to buy it from me for $500 so I don't have to rebuild it from the ground up? :v: Also, I drove my Dad's F-150 EcoBoost for the first time ever. Damn, now I want one.
Beat MGS already? Also double time and a half today $$$
Nope. I have not. I'm taking my time with it so I can enjoy all the quirks of it. I'm at mission 20 so far. I did wind up going to the shop to make something though. See here: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1108169&page=62

The whole Panther owner's club here in Socal despises people who do that. We call them Whackers, presumably because of their preference for self pleasure. Yes, it's nice to have a car that intimidates people, but that's not why most people here buy them. It's a side benefit, not the primary reason. Maybe it's a regional thing, but over here people buy them because they're cheap, comfortable, reliable, rear-drive cars with tons of character and space. (Also the P71 doesn't handle worse than the civilian, it handles way better. It is higher, yes, but it has severe duty shocks and much bigger roll bars and control arms) He's 100% right about the 3.55 rear end though. These are heavy cars with impotent engines, the sharp rear axle is all that lets them keep up/

I seen a Dodge Ram that said "DODGE RAM" in comic sans on the tailgate. help
I have a problem with my SAAB. Everytime i accelerate the whole car starts shaking, like it's dying or something i can't really explain it but the engine light shows up anyway. It happens everytime i accelerate/Hit full gas. Anyone have a clue?
Sounds like an ignition coil problem. [editline]7th September 2015[/editline]
just smack it with something it'll be fine [editline]7th September 2015[/editline] MFI is a nightmare just put carbs on it
Then you haven't had the pleasure of dealing with solex carbs on one of those old Benzes... Those things make CIS-E look like a massive joke... [editline]shit[/editline] You can't just smack it with something either, as the injection pump costs $11000 and has internals that are about as fragile as glass.
Any of you guys ever go to PARC? Went there for the first time today and it was fucking awesome.
Tips on hooking up a fan relay on a EP3, I am brand new to this, my friend gave me his old fan relay, has the fuses on it, I am new too wiring. I need to hook up two fans on my radiator. I have the relay, and a positive and negative wire, yet I do need to get some more wire to make it longer as it will obviously not reach. My friend said he would hook it up for me...but that was about a month ago and I want this project done before the end of September. So, I figured I should stop relying on him and figure out how to do it myself! With your guy's help of course.
On the relay, here's the pins you want; Pin 30 goes to the + on the new fan motor Pin 87 does to 12V fused from the battery + terminal The next bits are tricky. If there is NO fan components in the system anymore, you'll need to add a coolant temp switch; http://www.ebay.com/itm/185-Degree-Electric-Radiator-Engine-Cooling-Fan-Thermostat-Temperature-Switch-/121449848315 That will ground when it hits a certain temp, so it'd hook like this; 86 goes to the coolant temp switch 85 goes to fused battery + Then of course ground the fan's - wire. If there IS some form of wiring in the car still (IE the stock computer 'fan activate' output) you can probably tap into that for triggering your relay. That would then be, MOST LIKELY; 86 to the computer's 'fan activate' wire, if it's a *negative* trigger 85 fused battery + If the computer outputs a positive signal, it'd go; 86 to the computer's positive 'fan activate' output 85 to ground

I had to get rid of a lot of stuff from the front end crash. New radiator and fans, so all the old wiring is out. I looked in my fusebox and I believe the fuse relay is in there, plugged in, I got another one just in case as the one in the picture is from my old firebird :v: I also got 14 gauge wire if that is big enough? Stock wire was about 20 I believe.
Bought a 2002 Scooby Impreza today. Got it for $1500 which was just under half of my budget for a new car, so any work I need to have done to it (or fun bits for it) won't break the bank. I gotta get different rims for it for sure though. Seller pics because I'm an ass and won't have the car until I get it registered tomorrow. (Because of course the one day during the week I have off, the DMV is closed :v:). The U shaped "chassis brace" is rotted and needs to be replaced but supposedly that particular one is just an extra bit for support during an accident and just bolts on and doesn't have anything relying on it. Still gonna replace it anyway. The brake lights don't work and it's throwing code P0703 which just means that the brake light switch needs to be replaced. $3! I'll buy it from you for 1520$ c:

First upgrade, change that 13mm rear sway to a WRX 17mm (if offroading or snow driving) or WRX 20mm (street driving). 17MM came on WRX wagons. Either one makes a massive improvement in handling.

Sweet! If anybody has any info or any tips on it I would love to hear it. I believe the previous owner did say that the water pump and stuff was done but I will verify again when I go to pick it up tomorrow. Hopefully it isn't too hard to replace the switch. If it's possible can anybody take some good pictures of their brake light switch?
I'll buy it from you for 1520$ c:
When you buy it ill give you $1, 540.95 for it. Think about it. Thatd a lot of numbers. Its a good deal.
Never liked those headlights, otherwise great car!
A little update on the bus We got the old floor ripped out, patched some rust holes in the subfloor, put down new insulation and plywood, painted the interior, and gutted most of the old wiring. [t]http://i.imgur.com/6xpIzzD.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/kyQh17x.jpg[/t] And my friend, who has so over-ambitiously jumped into rewiring the truck wiring and dash, made a roadkill list. Also worth noting: the fridge works, but the wiring going to it doesn't. Also there is no gray water tank, just two fresh tanks and a black tank. Sink and shower just dump onto the ground. The part on the beginning where he says "if the cops drove a cherokee, youd buy a cherokee" is I believe 100% true.
