Might wanna look into Subarus they are pretty cheap in europe
Hmm what cars should i look at, i'm driving diesels for 10 years now and i'm tired of them(also alot of road tax here in Belgium for a diesel nowadays)
Been looking at every model with a VR6 in it,too much km's and too old.I really want someting fun.
Japanese cars are also welcome, even french (clio sport)
My budget is under 10k € , fuel usage is not a problem.
clio 197 is lackluster and not worth it iirc, the 200 (not the 200t DONT GET THE 200T) is good. the clio 182 is the daddy of the clio sports but they're getting old now and there are a LOT of mistreated ones so be smart when buying.
if you can find one then a megane R26 (not an R26R, you won't be able to afford one of those) like this are good
things to look out for generally on a renaultsport: belts are generally 5year/72k miles so it they should be on a second set by now or very close. It's important that the dephaser unit is also changed with the belts, because if that goes bad it's another belt off job.

I have a VR6 Jetta and its a little joy, lots of pep. Only problem with VR6 engines is when things break they are expensive to fix (more so than any of the other VW engines). Other than that I love mine.

I accept, on one condition - you kill the guy who slammed it 10 more painfully.

Good shit boys.
I sat in an ND today. Fits like a glove, excellent seats. Also I loved how easy it was to put the top up and down; I still have to get out the NA to put it up and ever since I got a glass window, I have to get out to put it down too (a strong guy with long arms and a plastic window solves both of these problems though). Piece of cake in the ND however, never had to get out of the cabin.
the nd looks too much like a bmw z series for my tastes. I like the bubbly cute NA, the new one is just too angular

My exhaust was "Civic with a fartcan" levels of obnoxious today, so when I finally got home I found out why.

The exhaust looks like it's hanging 3-5" from the ground. God dammit.

A. No, it didn't. I had just finished all the repairs it needed before I could start modding it. I was getting it painted soon too.
B. The dude backed up and floored it into my car after hitting about three other cars and getting stuck.
C. Way to be a tool.

It's in the local news too.

Damn, that's fucked. On the bright side though, you didn't paint it yet.
At least you know who's guilty then. Also, they called your Saab a 9000, not a 900...
Guys, I want this because reasons

insurance wouldn't pay what it's worth anyway, whether it looked totaled before or not. they never do with semi-classic cars
I accept, on one condition - you kill the guy who slammed it 10 more painfully.
it's quite easy to make it back to not being slammed, not so much if you slam it with a sledgehammer.
Oh shit I think I was actually there when that happened.
Damn, really? Do you live around here?
insurance wouldn't pay what it's worth anyway, whether it looked totaled before or not. they never do with semi-classic cars
I know, and that's one of the things that sucks most about this. I am going to be car-less for quite some time since I'm gonna get jack shit from insurance.

How is this acceptable? Why do you pay for insurance against your car when they don't pay out when your car is damaged most of the time? Something is fucked up there
How is this acceptable? Why do you pay for insurance against your car when they don't pay out when your car is damaged most of the time? Something is fucked up there
Well, you legally must have insurance to drive on roads. They pay for the market value of a car, which is usually less than the actual value you paid due to depreciation, which happens the instant you roll it off the car lot. Used cars get it even worse.
Users on the S2KI forums claim that GEICO insurance lowballs them on the value of their S2000s when they get totaled.
Did I hear snowballs?
