I'm big into 2 stroke tuning so if you ever need any advice for making reliable power don't hesitate to contact me

drive at 5mph in reverse, clutch in and go to first, rev to redline and dump it.
Shift into 7th, hit the air brakes, clutch over to 5th and disengage the power valve and punch it in reverse to hit the powerband and then rev it till its harmonically balanced and then let off the brakes.
Burnout.
SO my buick lesabre door has proven stubborn. I've been unable to find a replacement window regulator and it's recently stopped opening. I just picked up a buick park ave door from the junkyard. I'm curious if it's gonna fit well and where I can find wiring diagrams.. thanks in advance
[editline]18th September 2015[/editline]
Other than 4 bolts it looks like all that I need to do is splice some wire. There's a ton sticking out, idk what for, I assume you only need a few (unlock/lock signal, power). Also, the park ave had climate control in it's doors, will it function in my lesabre?
The door fits fine if anyone was wondering. 1996 park ave door ona 98 lesabre, just gotta plastidip it green and do the wiring.
go 80 on highway, shift to 1st, instant hoonigan smoke
unrelated, im delivering chinese food this weekend because a friend asked me if I could and im unemployed... I should buy an 86.

I feel like the door guard trim would be all thats different?
I feel like the door guard trim would be all thats different?
Yeah its a tad lower but only on the front side, strange but I don't mind, the inside is plenty different. I'm pondering if theres some way I could wire the climate control to work
anything stick can do a burnout just pop the clutch at 6k and slam on the brakes and floor it
My Outback disagrees

not with some space-savers it wouldn't!
The 2 strokes in sleds use the crank case to force the air into the cylinder giving it a "supercharged" effect from stock.
Uh, isn't this how all 2 strokes work?
Not necessarily, 2 stroke diesels use a supercharger (sometimes a turbo) to force air into the engine instead of the crankcase.
Could a petrol 4 stroke be supercharged and a cam change to make it two stroke? that would be neat.

The blower also helps push the exhaust gasses out at the same time, Also known as scavenging

Not in the same way 2-stroke diesels work, but I think it's possible to do otherwise
Possible to swap cam with an oil pump and the hydraulic lifters with hydraulic actuators controlled electrically meaning you have the best valve timing for that specific rpm, paired with turbos, you could go two stroke and well, boost torque significantly.
I know koenigsegg are working on valves like this, air controlled i think though.

Yeah that's what I had in mind ahah I remember him mentioning that he could switch that saab between the strokes. Thinking of that tech gives me wet dreams... I wish all my cars had that tech like right now.

Actually a normal Prius probably could do an alright burnout if you could override the safeties and install a new throttle controller and a new voltage regulator. The electric motor is reasonably torquey and the stupid skinny eco tires don't have nearly as much traction as they should. Just disable traction control and away you go.
I've put a towstrap and racing stripes on my Ford KA because I am disgusting
It does just about push 0-60 in under 3 seconds now though which is good, although having the car physically take off into the air isn't really a bonus of having the stripes, might need to fit something that applies some downforce to stop it
I finally found the next car I want, and I will scour the whole planet till I find one:

That would be quite a trek for me, cars like that are very rare up here in the Boston area.

$8,500? Wow. What an incredible deal for a neglected piece of junk. Also why would anyone want a BMW with 12 problems instead of 6?
Also all the filters in the world on the interior pics tell me the interior looks like crap.
If I ever sell my car I'll tell the people buying it that since the headliner is already in it, I am not coming down on price.
the 8 series only came in v8 or v12 and the v12 is more desirable and sold the most
still too expensive for what they are though
[editline]19th September 2015[/editline]
and then parts and shit lol
I've seen a video of a gas v8 converted to 2 stroke and it sounded rediculus.
You guys saying I should reconsider getting one of those, then?
Nah, just consider the cost of owning one, the reliability, etc.
Reading local automotive news:
Tesla is coming to Malaysia - YAY!
but then,
Only 120 will come.
Tesla is not interested in selling directly to customers here.
Will be on a lease-only basis to Government Linked Companies.
Lease will cost $1500USD/month.
The leasing company will not be allowed to sell the cars for 24 months.
The cars will be a mixture of P85s and P70s.
Well at least I can't afford teslas to begin with.

instant no unless your car is old as dirt and doesn't have synchros
hoonigan smoke would happen for sure if you kicked it into reverse though
Hey radio guys I have a question.
So the speakers in my '02 Impreza suck balls, and I was thinking about upgrading them.
The car came with a Kenwood head unit (I have to get the model number), and I was thinking of maybe replacing the door speakers and potentially adding some (somewhere?).
I don't really care about how loud I can get bass to go (although I do want some decent bass) - I'm mainly looking for great sound quality at louder volumes (but not ear-splittingly loud) at a not-terribly-high price. The stock speakers suck so bad they sound like they're going to blow out at medium volumes and I'll be honest, the stock speakers in my MR2 from '86 sound just the same if not slightly better.
The wiring to the stock speaker in my driver side door must be fucked too, because it doesn't work even after replacing the speaker with another stock, known-good speaker.
Any suggestions on speaker brands/models? Should I run new wiring for whatever I get?
Speakers suck in Subarus in general, always have, always will. Just swing on into BBY or any other local radio shop and sample the speakers on their test wall. The Pioneer A-series are pretty good, on sale usually for $60/pr. Kicker CS series is ok if you like treble (I don't). Pioneer G-series for $38/pr is a nice clean entry level speaker. My go to is always the Alpine Type S speakers, love the sound out of those, or even the Pioneer D1720, but those like an amp to really shine.
For the speaker that's inop, in most cases it's a busted wire in the door boot, so start there. If you can't find the break there, check at the headunit, the wiring may have come apart (lots of ghetto installs). If it's not broken in the boot and not bad wiring at the headunit, just pull new speaker wire into the door through the boot and be done.
