You're buying an old imported car as your first vehicle...? I would take my risks with the airbag. Worst case is that the airbag goes off and you get some metal in your face to add to your injuries
You're buying an old imported car as your first vehicle...?
It's a 2003 civic which is almost as "first car" as you can get. I'm the second owner after the import so it doesn't make much of a difference anyways. It did get crahed 2 times and in fact i bought it just after the second crash. The frame and everything else is getting repaired with no problems whatsoever. The only thing that remains an enigma is the SRS system which seems to have not been restored after the first incident. Only the driver side airbag got replaced. On the second crash it didn't even deploy. This could be either because the crash was too low-speed (the driver got cut off in a parking lot) or maybe the airbag computer required configuration after the replacement. Anyhow, i'm seeing somebody who actually works on that sort of stuff soon so there is nothing to worry about
I saw a old volvo today

I've watched here and there's of his vids but since they don't speak english never grew attached. Should have taken more photos of the audi allroad on rs6 wheels behind it :)
I need one of those volvos as a winter beater now
I can't wait to experience my first winter in a rear wheel drive car. I'm gonna die.
I can't wait to experience my first winter in a rear wheel drive car. I'm gonna die.
I wouldn't mind going that way.
True winners in life die having fun
I can't wait to experience my first winter in a rear wheel drive car. I'm gonna die.
Drive slow when you feel the back slip. If the vehicle starts to slide sideways, let off the throttle, do not brake, and keep the front wheels facing where you want the vehicle to go. Last winter I was going down a big hill and was trying to brake to turn at the bottom of the hill, slid a good 500 feet before I ran through a small pile of snow at the bottom of the hill. Was fun. Just, go slow, and get snow tires.
Almost done! They paint hides it, but right now the following parts are polyester parts -Both doors -Hood -Front bumper -Rear bumper -Roof window delete -trunk Also got 2 spare bumpers painted in the same paint because they will get wrecked at some point All thats left now is painting/mounting the mirrors, installing the windshield and getting the sponsors stickers on there. Anyone here thats good with photoshop and wants to organize the stickers on the car? :v:
That looks better than most people's 'nice' car they road drive. What kinda clear did you shoot? What gun? The results look excellent in the photos, nice finish.

Just take your foot off the throttle and you should gain traction back. If you're hosed going 40 around a turn and lose traction then you are going into the bank, nothing can save you lol
Looking at historic el nino maps it looks like a tossup in my area. Some years there's an assload of snow and others there is almost none. After driving my mustang through actual winter snow/ice last winter I want there to be as little of a snowy winter as possible :v:
I can't wait to experience my first winter in a rear wheel drive car. Best thing I can do is keep the gas on and unleash my inner drift king. I learned that the hard way after understeering into a median and eating a sign.

I kept into the power and added more in blips. The AWD worked its magic and told the car POINT THIS AWAY even tho there was no traction to be had with supersteel 595's in ice.
when my wrx' awd goes to panic mode it just understeers. Many times i've just plowed wet onramps and nearly went off (at 30 mph lol)
when my wrx' awd goes to panic mode it just understeers. Audi on the other hand did not...Unless you had her in 4th gear revvin out to 5k rpms and only doing 20mph ground speed but 110mph indicated...Then her diffs would do somthing.
I can't wait to experience my first winter in a rear wheel drive car. I'm gonna die.
Takumi everywhere
Ta-ku-mi verb
Takumi everywhere
This. Make sure to make a eurobeat CD to listen to. On a similar note, this will be my first winter driving and I live in Michigan. Unfortunately I just have my shitty sable with a ruined wheel bearing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ppe6gMcYCQ
I can't wait to experience my first winter in a rear wheel drive car.
That looks better than most people's 'nice' car they road drive. What kinda clear did you shoot? What gun?
im selling my miata
Why?
Cleaning post.. Acquired one of those 'Iron Out' cleaners recently. Stuff does the job REALLY well. It's named 'Dragon's Breath' for anybody that is wondering. Suitably named too.
