Looks more like a 740/940 to me
It is.
Definitely not an 850. That wagon does great on a dirt track because it's rwd, not fwd like the 850
So a couple weeks ago, someone hit my car in the parking lot. It damaged my passenger side fender, luckily the guy stayed and called base security so I didn't have to pay out of pocket. The body shop I took it to actually ended up painting the whole front end of the car, which actually desperately needed it. Extremely happy with the results.
In other news, my power FC and boost controller and waiting on my shelf to be installed, looking at getting the car tuned this winter!

You should've asked the guys at the bodyshop to do a little more to the car:

Getting my in-dash GPS/sub/amp installed today. Found a different Best Buy that actually answered the phone.
so it clicked open? Just lift up with some force
The latch clicked open like it normally does but the hood didn't move at all. Normally the latch would return back to its original position after you open it but it doesn't anymore.

What version?
My new G1W came with a ball style mount, I hated it.
I ended up ordering a set of the original swing style mounts from China.
I also noticed that the ball mount isn't nearly as good for going behind rear view mirrors.

It wasn't the ball one it was like this one http://thedashcamstore.com/screw-type-suction-cup-windshield-mount/ I keep seeing mounts that hook onto the rear-view mirror arm but I don't know if that would fit behind mine. The battery in mine is also completely shot, it doesn't keep the thing on for more than a couple seconds when I unplug it. Bought it back in March of 2014
So... a guy's coming to look at the Subaru tomorrow. Should be exciting.
Also another one's popped up for sale in Norway. It's rusty, denty and have 4 x more km on it than mine and the starting price on the auction is 26k nok. I'm trying to get 30k for mine which I'm starting to think is a bit too low atm :v:
In other news, I got a gasket set for the Beetle in the mail today. Only thing left is to buy exhaust.
So since I have a ep3 with the shitty k20a3. I want a k20a. Since there be no reason to build the a3. Now. I'm probably selling my camry in march. After winter. Now with the 2ish grand I might get. Plus saved money and tax return. How much am I looking at for a k20? I seen some on ebay go for 450-600 but with a tranny. It's like 4k. Is that right? Or are the k20's for 400 or so I'm looking at not the right one?
The K20's you're probably finding are the same exact ones you already have. If you want something with a proper head you're going to pay at least a few times whatever you're seeing on ebay.
This here is a K20A3 longblock

These are full swaps which are probably what you want being that a 6 speed and LSD would be quite nice.

If you're looking for something a little cheaper look for K24 motors like from a TSX.

Now if I just got the K20a. Would it bolt right up to my tranny, or does it need the six speed? I really want the six speed as well, but ATM my budget is roughly 2500, give or take.

Got it installed. Somehow my check airbag system light is on now, though. Have to have someone look at it again tomorrow.
Anyone see anything like this in newer Civic/Civic Si models? Install aftermarket radio and have systems saying "check me" even though they're clearly fine?
If the airbag warning light is on, doesn't that mean that the entire system is disabled?

AFAIK everything from this generation is the same, I know the K23 turbo RDX motor is different and I assume some of the new motors like the Acura ones which have ZF transmissions might be different. I'd really save up the extra bit for an LSD trans, you'll be pretty disappointed without it.
Once I decided I was 100% sure I was going to repaint the '68 I have noticed that I quit washing it. It's been about 3 weeks now. Still waiting on my big payday from a boat project. I'm super swamped out with doing a renovation on a store where my brother is opening a comic book shop. It was a set of 4 offices and a bunch of pony walls and it's been turned into a large open area, with two game rooms in the back for table games. Got the walls all demo'd, repaired drywall, textured, painted, scraped the whole ceiling, textured, painted, and ripped the whole carpet and pad out down to the concrete. Got some baseboard removal repairs to do tomorrow, already reframed all the entryways, and then Wednesday hardwood floor is going in, and then I'll be redoing new baseboard, Saturday will be installing the fixtures and furniture. SO MUCH TO DO.
But either way I have 0 time between that, racks, and boats to actually do anything with the two Darts. I fixed a windshield gasket leak on the '74 and that's about it.
Plans for money though, are -
New rear leaf springs for both cars. Stock for '74 and Superstock springs for '68
Rebuild new slant six and install
Buy a bunch of PPG paint single stage so it looks classic (color is a secret) and repaint the '68, and it will be two toned still.
New front shocks for the '68
Front Discs for the '68
New header manifold for the turbocharger
New carpet for the '74
New rear seatbelts in the '68. I need three back there so I'm doing 3 points on the sides, and lap in the middle.
Also found out the third is due in April. April 15th specifically, tax day... but that's tons of time to get both cars ready.
Alright. I'll save up the extra money then. Seems like I have a summer project now!

No it just means there is/was a fault in the system. In many domestic and Asian imports it will turn off once the ign is cycled and no faults are found. If it sees an issue anywhere from an unplugged airbag to an unplugged 'passenger airbag on/off' light, it'll illuminate.
Stands to reason that a curtain airbag or perhaps seatbelt pretensioner was unplugged and not properly replugged during the install, or something along those lines. Another possibility is that this particular model Honda does NOT reset the light automatically (Nissans, VW, Volvo, etc all need a specific clear procedure, for example) and that it just needs a scan tool to plug up and clear the light.
All Best Buys are supposed to be equipped with an Innova scan tool for check engine diagnostic as well as SRS diagnostic / resetting on most makes/models.. why this Best Buy wouldn't have one, who knows. That's corporations for you.

It sounds like something just isn't syncing up somewhere, but I know nothing about newer car electronics, so I'll just shut up.
No no, that's true. Something isn't happy and thus is throwing that fault code. Now it may be a remnant that needs clearing to 'forget' or it may be a legitimate issue still where the SRS system sees a fault.
A scanner that reads SRS data is gonna be the best friend, and will lead to the answer to rectifying it. The good news is that the deck on that model Civic isn't tied into the SRS system so it's not like the factory one will have to go back in.
Spent all day yesterday with a friend replacing the weatherstripping on the vette, as well as replacing the headlight gears. No more weird ratcheting and slipping:

Probably grabbing this at the begining of november for 15k, assload of money into it
Motor has about 80k, rebored, balanced, and resealed, always ran on synthetic
Tranny about 10k, billet torque converter and built internals
Twin turbo kit
Detroit locker rear and a brand new rear axle
Brand new vp44
Highest quality ARP studs
O-ringed head pushing 60psi
Hi flow fuel pump
8.5" lift kit with Custom build ladder bars and new leafs instead of blocks in the back
37" tires on some ehh rims
Smart Sr and edge comp
Also has csts2
Manual locking hubs conversion
4 wheel discs
Dual bypass oil filtration kit, 2 microns i filtration i think
Custom leather interior with heated seats, custom sound system
Remote start
150hp injectors
Cold air intake and full stainless exhaust
Thats just what the guy remembers, probably much more in it. Im waiting on him to get home on the 28th to see if there is any rust underneith the gay fender flares and if it all clears out ill go pick it up.
First couple mods would be to ditch the door handles, black rims, remove the black door ding plastic, and a bodycolor sport bumper and taillights. Otherwise it looks like a wicked truck.

It wasn't until I bought my Civic that I truly realized how important an LSD is along with equal length axles. My Civic will spin the drivers front for days and when attempting to put down power while turning just induces wild amounts of plow. Launching onto the highway, stopped at a T intersection in any sort of damp condition is near impossible.
I never thought of my Integra plowing that bad under power or having many similar issues but you can still cause it to act similarly. Equal length axles do tons to prevent complete power bias but it doesn't cure what only an LSD can.
I might also recommend considering a Type-S setup if possible as well, anything JDM and Type-R tend to have insanely short gearing. While it's a wonderful 6 speed, it would be a disaster if you still turned 4000rpms on the highway at like 70-80. I would do research into what transmissions have what gearing and try to locate something which works best for you. I do believe the TSX K24 style motors came with a 6 speed and LSD as well. While they're not "the k20", torque would be quite nice in the EP3.
Again, me being very new to cars I have a bit of a new question:
If I get this, will it fix the bouncing problem on my, and raise the cut suspension? http://www.am-autoparts.com/Honda/Civic/shocks-and-struts/AM-938342659/681164-2002.html?gclid=CNK4qpiir8gCFQyPHwodlcYEpA
I'm telling to sell my old wheels, and nobody is really interested on base... I'm really considering rebuilding them and having a little side project but I'm just afraid I won't have time to finish them haha.
if somebody wants some super sick discontinued jdm wheels let me know and i'll hook u up

That wouldn't happen to the Reliant Skyline, because Skyline has an intelligent 4WD system. Even though it only has 3 wheels.
Edit:
I made a quick photoshop mock up of what I hope the Supra will look like when I'm done fitting the parts to it.
I've lowered the front a bit, removed the indicator on the fender and added the facelift bumper indicator, put on the stock sideskirt and added the new rims (I already bought the rims for it).
Now:

I think the diff in the Miata is on it's way out. Time to find a replacement. I would really like to go 1.8 Torsen swap but I can't afford to drop $850+ :(
