I love running (distance), mostly because it helped me lose 120lbs, and has helped me stay motivated to keep it off. In addition to its many health benefits, it is truly the only legal thing in my life that I do that completely clears my mind. I would love to run a marathon in the future, but 26 miles is too much for me right now. The most I have routinely (at least 3 times a week) ran is 5 miles, so I think this summer I will try to sign up for a few 5k races and see how good I really am before going further.

I LOVE running, but I never really do it that often anymore. I'm extremely self conscious, and after people told me that I 'run' weird, I just think 'Okay, fuck this. I don't want to embarrass myself anymore.'
I have yet to find out how I run weird, though.
