My Mom knows. She's really cool about it. She's like a "stay at home soccer mom" housewife type chick. She told me her and my aunt used to smoke all the time before I was born. She was like, "Your aunt just flew out of town for a spa weekend and got stoned. Almost every body does it, its not a major deal. I'd be more dissapointed if I caught you drinking or something like that." And when I told her she made me fo to dinner at my grandma's house, she was like, "Well tell me next time dumbass so I can say you're sick or something. Haha. I don't smoke a ton though, she's like, "I really don't see the big deal with smoking a few times here and there. Just don't make it a daily thing."
And I don't daily, or weekly for that matter. It's more like, "Shit I'm bored Zane, let's go find some weed."

No clue about my mom, but my dad used to be a hippy stoner guitarist back in his day. The old pictures of him make me crack up everytime, he was just such a pothead you could see it in every picture.

My parents keep threatening to kick me out. Every time I'm caught (I've been caught 4 times), they say, "Next time it happens, we're kicking you out."
They never do.
i used to live with my grandparents and they thought weed was like meth too and tried to send me to rehab. i recently moved to live with my mom for the first time in 14 years. She doesn't smoke, but she buys me weed and pipes and everything.

My mom and dad used to do all kind of crazy drugs when they lived in Alaska, I know for sure my mom has done Speed, Crack, Cocaine, Pot, Acid, LSD and idk about my dad. They don't know about mah drugs but my mom said she wouldn't care if I smoked weed. My moms taking me to Hemp Fest and my dad doesn't care. She is taking a few of my Super Druggie Friends who think they cant go 2 days without smoking weed, they come over at least once a week and bring pot. They even brought it across the border of Canada and USA but the cops did see or find it.

Well, I was bored and I looked up DARE to see what kinda of bullshit it had to say about weed, it said pretty much nothing about how bad and horrible it is.
It only said this about it:
"Dangers and Effects
Smoking marijuana may impair short-term memory while people are using the drug. This happens because all forms of marijuana contain THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), the main active chemical in marijuana, which alters the way the brain works."
The site really seemed to be all about how bad tobacco was.
The D.A.R.E. site isn't aimed at kids though, from what I remember they made us believe the 'loser' stereotypes with shitty cartoons.
