Yeah, I can run around with my 249 for over 2 hours with no sling and my noodle arms don't really hurt much. But having a sling sure is convenient at times.
I just want a sling for my stoner for walking up the 200 ft hill to the field :c
I'd imagine there's quite a difference between PKM and 249
owning both yes, yes there is.
Jegus I was about to die carrying my 60 around, I ended up sitting in a bunker until the game was done. My fault really, I tried to play it like I had a rifle.
I think sometimes the bigger problem is people trying to get you to keep up like you have a rifle.
Yay. Thanks for reviewing this gun, much appreciated. I might consider picking one up if there's another batch somewhere. Also, you guys need to pick up a weight or two hahaha, just kiddin.
evike still has it in stock
I think sometimes the bigger problem is people trying to get you to keep up like you have a rifle.
To be honest, if you can't keep up with the riflemen you're not doing your job as a support gunner. I'd suggest lifting weights, getting some practice. Even just shouldering your gun for thirty seconds, then taking some time to recover, and repeating for ten minutes or so builds the strength you need to run around with a machine gun all day. I treat my M60 like an assault rifle I can deploy if needed, and it serves me fine in that role, despite being bigger, heavier, and more awkward than an M249. Even Timebomb, who is maybe 5'8" to 5'10" and two thirds my weight, has run around in skirmishes shouldering the pig. Remember, these airsoft guns are a lot lighter than the real thing- even without considering ammo. An A&K or CA M249 weighs about as much as a real, loaded AK-47. Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to belittle or insult you. The best thing you can do is practice and get used to carrying the weight, and then you'll be able to keep up with (or even outrun) the riflemen and stay mobile with your machine gun, and then you can change from being a one-man bunker to a fast offensive support element. Anyways, thank you very much for the review killer, I'm really looking forward to A&K's AEK-999 and PKP. Please let us know what those L M S buttons actually do, I've been dying to understand the new electrical system on these guns.

I'm not sure about your field but the problem we have here at HVA is the snow and the hills. HVA is mainly hills from one field to another and being playing recently in 1-2 feet of snow lugging around a 15 lb Stoner with my short little legs (I'm only 5' 5") can get difficult. aaaaand the lms does not affect rate of wind either
i'm sorry but what
Fully loaded AKs are ~11lbslbs, man. A real M249 is about 15-16, I've definitely held airsoft Para 249s that were ~11lbs.
oh and the LMS does nothing to the rate of fire
Does nothing to rate of fire, or the wind speed? Hmm. How'd you test the rate of wind? That seems odd since I can't imagine what else it would do.
Airsoft para's are the heaviest. 249 mk2 is the lightest of the air249's
16 loaded with .25's and my 4000 mah brick
i did the math and got under 13 pounds loaded with 1200 .25s and a turnigy 4000mah 25c 11.1, which im guessing is what you have, or something similar.
a real AK-47 weighs 10.5 pounds loaded. AKM weighs 7.56 pounds loaded.
