There are still tons of good bands out there that makes music for making music rather than money. It really annoys me how everyone complains about the music industry. Most bands back in the days that we still love today for being awesome were also making many of their songs for commercial money reasons. You don't see many people praising Beatles for being a good band outside of the songs they are popular for. They have a ton of commercially influenced albums as well that most Beatle fans never have heard of. Most Beatles fans only knows of the 6-10 songs they are well known for, and some possibly an album or two that most haven't heard of.
