I remember this. Didn't someone post Terragen images claiming it was photos from the digiworld?
That was me and for the billionth time, that was using a render package called VistaPro 4.
MIPS, you didn't honestly believe any of this right? I mean, ho- what.... Ummmm- For fuck sake, it's Digimon!
Here's my official stance: Do they exist: possibly but more than likely, no Do they look like what we think: no Will we ever see them or will they ever become a problem: no I fully understand that they don't exist and nothing will ever happen but I know we would ALL agree in our minds it would be cool if this was untrue.
Y'know MIPS, most people would be deeply ashamed of being (formerly) associated with these kind of people even online. But apparently you don't give much of a shit, EVEN with all the dirt that's out there linked to you.
My brain exploded. I don't know how I'm supposed to piece all of this shit together to make any sense out of it. -Digimon fans -build a real Digimon -"tear atoms down to protons, electrons, and nuetrons, and a way to put all the parts back together" -debacle -forum shutting down -???

If you go looking for monsters in the closet, you just might find them.

Kind of like Drawball. There is also the fact that all this dirt on me harms what, my E-rep? Hello. It's the Internet, Not real life. I doubt in the future this will harm my application to go full-time at the food court.
And they won't be Digital Monsters. They'll be Lovecraftian Eldritch abominations that devour your face and wear your skin as a poncho.
Oh I didn't forget.
He was trying to get into the Digiworld.
of course digimon aren't real pokemon are real and you can't have both
All they would need is this and a Digimon book.
this thread made me fucking facedesk three times. [editline]5th February 2012[/editline] four*
Digimon materializing would require a lot of energy and a whole bunch of protiens avalible. A digimon wouldn't be able to materialize just because of how many lines of code it had or what level it was at. On the subject of dreams, I think that a digimon could send us a message via a signal our brains would be capable of picking up. However, going to the digital world would require our consious going outside our body, being transfered to a B-10 computer with the ability to process it. Who says we'd be able to get back? No, it would work differently. This might be why most pepole who claim to have digimon dreams haven't been able to interact much with the surrounding enviorment.
With my PhD in Digitology from Mangaversity of Bullshit, I can safely say that the atmosphere on earth simply does not have a high enough count of X-113-UGUU particles to sustain digital existence for more than 13 aguseconds, which is why we need to have our brains showered in cross-dimensional sterilization protons which are then put into secured universal storage capsules and used to communicate with digipeople via telekinetic amplification through which we can bounce off datamensional signals from quasar #11-27 and hopefully communicate with our partners Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to hit myself in the temple with a concrete block until I sustain brain damage and start seeing digimen, followed by taking some acid I found at the bottom of a trashcan underneath my porch

i feel retarded trying to understand everything that's going on right now
http://www.thedrp.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=1563
I started thinking about this theory while reading Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. They say the reason people can't see monster's is because there brains can only process something that makes sense to them.If it doesn't make sense to them then there brains process something to make sense of it like if they saw a huge sword popping out of a ball point pen then they would see something like a rifle. If it doesn't match there logic they don't really see it.So I started thinking what if it's that way with Digimon, now I'm not saying there the cause for everything or anything it's just a theory, but just say that Digimon did create natural disasters and such as earthquakes and tornado's.And our brain only let's us see the things they cause. That would mean Digimon do come here often but our brains can't process them. But the problem is if they really do cause that then we will never be able to see them.If only there is someway I can see if this theory is true or not....if it is true how do we see them then...

well ive seen two digimon in the real world before so i dught it unless this only implies to certain digimon or like in the book people can see thourgh the mist
guys i think i just broke my iq
At least ripping open a portal to another world sounds cooler than creating furry cyborg bodies and buying a small island off the coast from Africa :v:
Bwahahahahaha!
Just say you have Autism Spectrum Disorder, it gets all the ladies
... or in this case computers
Oh god I fucking remember the thread on Facepunch. What year was it, 07 or 08? I remember trying to troll the shitty forums. I opened up some random World of Warcraft map editor (can't remember name), floated over to Thunder Bluff, disabled all buildings and effects and shit so it was basically just 2 hills, took a screenshot and posted it on their forums claiming I got some pictures from whatever the fuck they called the digimonz land.
I saw this and immediately thought about that forum full of furries that think they can ascend to "dragonhood" or some shit. Anyone have a link to that, or did someone finally manage to kill their hopes and dreams?
This is making me want to watch the first season of Digimon again. Those people are still batshit insane though.
"PKMN RIPOFF MUST BE REEL!!!! BINARIES ARE THRETENIN THE WOELRD AND WE NEED TO STOEP IT OMGEE"
"PKMN RIPOFF MUST BE REEL!!!! BINARIES ARE THRETENIN THE WOELRD AND WE NEED TO STOEP IT OMGEE"
Wasn't pokemon the rip off?
well ive seen two digimon in the real world before so i dught it unless this only implies to certain digimon or like in the book people can see thourgh the mist
Jesus, my poor brain.
Wasn't pokemon the rip off?
other way 'round bud.
Here's a theory thats been growing in my head for a while. To turn something into data by electrifying it so that it can be scaned and turned into a .mon file (idea about .mon files HERE) and then the same theory as from tamers to turn them back (except the atoms are completely torn apart and then the protons, nuetrons, and electrons are used to create the new atoms from scratch). Now we just need a bunch of rats, some way to scan the eletrified objects, a way to tell objects from creatures, a way to tear atoms down to protons, electrons, and nuetrons, and a way to put all the parts back together. Seems pretty easy to me, how about all of you?
This is not how atoms work, at all.
what the actual fuck
I cannot believe I've never heard of this shit. This is golden. These people really believe that Digimon are real? What the fuck man. I can understand a little kid wishing they were real but this is on a totally different level. This... this shit is just sad. For instance, they think that all headaches are caused by their "partner" trying to communicate with them. I thought I've seen it all. But I guess I haven't. I would have loved to see this shit when it was in its prime.
other way 'round bud.
Digimon came earlier my friend.
Digimon came earlier my friend.
Digimon was a "tamagotchi for boys" released in Japan in 1997. Pokemon Red and Blue were released in Japan in 1996. Pokemon was first.
