IE really is a load of complete garbage. Microsoft in total is a load of garbage, imo.
Is there anything to actually back that up or are you bandwagoning hate? I've started using Internet Explorer recently and I can't find anything wrong with it.

Yes, IE and MS were horrible in the past, but they are getting better.
My reason for disliking IE... every 10 minutes of browsing, it sends a list to Microsoft of all the URL's you have visited, and it records all the buttons you push when your on wesites... so, you know, them passwords... aren't so "secure" now.
I've been using IE Metro and have found it to be much faster than any other browser I've used so far.
I used to use chrome, but then i found out that anyone can just open up the browser and take a gander at all my saved passwords.. there is no protection for this. switched back to firefox, which is more customizable, and is the same speed
What does that have to do with the current state of IE at all?
Agreed. I think we can all agree that IE was terrible in the past but now it's a different story.
IE 10 is okay, it has a little too much focus on social interaction but as a browser it holds up a pretty good benchmark and can run most of the websites I tried pretty well.
What does that have to do with the current state of IE at all?
The post that I was replying to quoted:
IE really is a load of complete garbage. Microsoft in total is a load of garbage, imo.
Just because IE 10 is less crap than it was, doesn't mean it's really worth using. It only runs on Windows, it's not open source, it doesn't have a large collection of plugins, the version in Windows RT is fairly gimped.
Most people who browse don't give two shits about "open source" or plugins. Most people just use it for facebook, twitter, news, or other shit.
IE10 is still trash. It doesnt fucking have <!--[if IE]>
My browser preference: 1. Google Chrome 2. Opera I really don't like Opera 15 though. I'm going to revert back to Opera 14. I have Firefox installed, but I never use it. I never use IE. Well, I can't. It just doesn't work.
All browsers are the same now IMO, I just like Firefox for the Open-Source nature and I like their extension setup. IE however has issues that make browsing some websites icky, to me atleast.
Of those, IE is the slowest; Well IE8 is. I'll look for a current IE graph....
See that everyone! Firefox is slower than chrome! Accept it! But I honesly think IE is terrible for a few reasons: They have like zero plugins. Its olds and out of date, even though they "update it" Too many toolbars, just annoying...
