even better when your wearing it, the album art is fucking massive.
Heh, I know someone who wears these shirts on a semi-rotation:

Bathory

Necrophagist
And shirts for at least two other folk metal bands, too.
:v:
I don't have any band shirts myself, though. I'm not a fan of clothing with designs on them, let alone band art; and even if I were, I always wear a sweatshirt over my shirt (woo Pacific Northwest weather; too cold for a t-shirt, too warm for a jacket).
I've been trying to find a Burzum/Mayhem/Napalm Death T-shirt for some time now.
No luck though.:saddowns:

You can always print one yourself. Don't know about anyone else, but I know for a fact my middle school's shop had a shirt printer, and I'm sure my high school did, too.
If nothing else, you can shell out some money (admittedly, a good amount) and have one custom-printed for you.
I must be the only person in this thread who doesn't like mastodon, a friend lent me Blood mountain and I didn't like it that much

I'm not a big Mastodon fan myself. Their only song I really like is Oblivion, and that's just because the chorus is catchier than shit.

Man I can relate to you, instead of being shot down by all the other metalheads in this forum for not enjoying something that they do, you can see my point of view and either tell me in an informed manner whether I am right or wrong.
I'm going to listen to that song now as I think it's on my pc
Plus respect for you
I don't see whats so bad about Dragonforce. Sure TTFATF is an overrated song, but the band is still good.
The only reason they're hated so much is because they became popular. They aren't that much different from standard epic power metal; to me it seems that the people who constantly bash them are always some elitists who think a band sucks as soon as they hit the spotlight.
I really don't dig Dragonforce' sound. Gamma ray, firewind and elvenking own them so fucking hard.

All thier albums take on a different feel, personally i feel thier best is Crack the Skye then Leviathan so give crack a chance.

Everyone of thier songs, sounds the same.
Listen to Kamelot and tell me they are the same.
I really can't get into meshuggah, everything about them screams that I should like them but I find them a bit dull
I didn't like them at first either, but like they say it's more about how the music makes you feel. Then I started listening to their songs as whole pieces and it just fucks with you.
Listen to Nothing going through the album reading the lyrics.
Dear god, it's insane
At the time Black Sabbath was metal, as it was pretty much the heaviest, darkest music you could find. Obviously metal has evolved greatly by now, but I still see them a classic metal band.
To those who do not regard Black Sabbath as metal, I always say: "I do not see how the evolution of, say death metal could change the definition of heavy metal"
If someone doesnt regard black sabbath as metal then They dont know what their talking about, Of course its not the same as modern metal thats like comparing dinosaur computers with new computers.
Would you consider Led Zeppelin metal? Cause they were pretty heavy back in the early 70s.
Would you consider Led Zeppelin metal? Cause they were pretty heavy back in the early 70s.
That's pretty subjective.
Back in their day, the music they played was heavy metal. Nowadays though, it's considered more rock than metal. I would say yes, just because, objectively, they played heavy metal at one point - even though the definition of the modern way in modern times has change, for the time period that they played it, that is what it was.

They made metal what it is now.

I really don't think so. Yeah sure, they influenced the genre alot, but I don't think they actually ever played Metal.

No, that's just hard rock. A very big influence, but not a member.
You're a real metal fan if you dress in rainbow clothing.

:bahgawd: WE DON'T LIKE OPINIONS ROUND 'ERE!!!!
Well, it's different when the opinions are incorrect. I mean, really.
I'm not a huge sabbath fan, like some of thier stuff, but prefer Dio's and Ozzy's solo stuff.
I listen to Meshuggah, Devin Townsend and a metric fuckton of others.
Tell me i'm not a metalhead :v:

You're not a metalhead. Now give me my money.
On that note, I'm not a big Sabbath fan, either. I'm pretty sure I've said this a few times in the past on this forum, but I'm not a big fan of older metal in general. I'm more a fan of metal that was made in and past the 90's, though I'm particularly a fan of modern metal, IE 2000s and up. :v:

mr. thrash is metal with punk
But it is!!
I swear to fuck my brain will cleave straight in two at this fucking rate.
I really dislike Black Sabbath, but I like a lot of other metal. Therefore I am a metalhead.
