Damn , give your dog a good spanking :(
I'm sorry to tell you this but everyone else here is giving you wrong or irrelevant advice. You MUST put your dog down! Again, I'm sorry, but it's the only way.
Also, inb4 "THE DOG NEEDS 2 DIEEEE!!11, PS I <3 kittens" (User was banned for this post (""in before..."" - ventilated))
Actually veltilated, (User was banned for this post (""inb4"" - ventilated)) :downs:
The way I see it, the whole thing was your fault. First of all, you were walking your dog without a leash. Regardless of your local laws, that's just stupid. And then, after that, you left the duck alone in a room with your dog when your dog had already previously attacked it. How the hell does that seem like a good idea? I mean, how could you not see that coming?
Congratulate the dog. also grow up, it's life. Yeah I like ducks but your dog successfully captured and ate it, it's proud of its work and you shouldn't bring it down. I don't think human emotions should get in the way of nature...
Well, you didn't "rescue" it did you now? You hindered your dog from doing it's job.
That's why cat's are better. :smug: ( I'm ignoring the fact, that a cat would have killed the duck too. )
But cats are better anyway.
[editline]01:11PM[/editline] that's fucking hilarious
Damn that's quite revolting. Still, dogs instinct I suppose. I feel for you.
Sure it wasn't me?
the duck forgot to duck
You should of hit your dog or something when it had the duck in it's mouth :(
Oh come on it's just a dork. I mean duck :downs:
Bahahahahaha...
To a good portion of you in this thread that are going "OMG WTF THAT DOG SHOULD BE PUT DOWN!!!! POOR DUCKIE :((((," it's part of life. Dogs are higher than ducks on the food chain for sure, it didn't even really do anything wrong, it just did it by instinct.
When my cat ran off to die my dogs brought it back in pieces. For the next week you couldn't pat them without your hand stinking of dead cat.
D: [editline]12:11AM[/editline]
Well clearly your dog has the best of intentions. In the beginning, it was presenting you the duck as a gift. It thought that you would appreciate a freshly caught duck since ducks are below humans in the food chain. Then later, seeing that the duck did not die and was suffering, your dog simply wanted to put it out of its misery by effecting a quick painless decapitation.
And then noming on it's head for a while
This reminded me of how a friend's dog killed her birthday presents. Her presents were 2 bunnies.
It is a pretty horrific death for the duck. I remember rescuing a few fatally injured piegons from my cat and leaving them somewhere quiet for a while, they usually died from shock but at least they were in comfort and not being mauled. Still, the dog isn't evil either. The dog was being a dog. It's just sad, there's no real bad person/creature.
This reminded me of how a friend's dog killed her birthday presents. Her presents were 2 bunnies.
The same cat I mentioned ate one of my gerbils I was given for my tenth birthday. He was still an awesome cat though. Just a damn good hunter unfortunately.
And for those who say cats are better, cats are brutal and merciless killers, haha believe me... the different is dogs can kill larger animals than cats and that they usually don't "play" with the dieing animal :P still either way its life and you shouldn't be too angry at the animal in question.
And then noming on it's head for a while
Well, since the duck was already dead, chewing on its head wouldn't do any harm, and this way the dog could save its owner the cost of a new chew toy from the store.
everything is FOOD
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww, that's really sad. And the part about brain smeared pillows is kinda sickly :D
My puppy is dieing right now. I have no clue what's happening.
you got your duckie heeeeheeheee
Decapitate your dog and eat his head that'll teach him a lesson.
