Any opinions on Season 5? I enjoyed it quite a lot although I really do miss Troy. I think the season stacks up well with the first 3.
It was a step into right direction, but still too much random homage and celebrity cameos centered episodes instead of comedy orientated around college stuff, that made Season 1 and Season 2 the best out of bunch.
I think they should just stop the show. Season 5 is so much better than 4, but it's still not all that good.
I think the only thing that can make the seasons good again is a full episode order, like what was previously mentioned.
It gives the writers more room to have the special episodes not so close together and make them feel more special, as well as having the episodes that are more grounded in the college atmosphere. These are what made the first 2 seasons so good, but hopefully Harmon ropes himself in enough to try to replicate Seasons 1 and 2, and not Season 3.
I still like early Season 3, but it got off the rails too much for me.
Looks like we all got a seat in Introduction to Cancellation 101.
BOOOOOOOOOOO! Hopefully Netflix or something will pick it up at a later time.
Update: Apparently IGN reports:
EW are saying that Sony will indeed try to find a new home for Community, either on cable or a streaming service. As EW notes, the show airs in syndication on Comedy Central, while Hulu owns the digital rights, making those two obvious potential outlets.
#FiveSeasonsAndAnAsteroid
BUT THEY JUST GOT MY ANNIE/JEFF SHIPPING ON OVERDRIVE WHYYYY
Sorry to revive a dead thread, but you know what?
Having an asteroid strike Greendale doesn't sound so bad when you remember "Buddha came down on a meteor."
Season 6 for reincarnation. [sp]I kinda miss Pierce, even though I know he won't be coming back.[/sp]
I hope they can go back to the 20+ episode format, 13 episodes just isn't enough.

I blame Community for getting me into shipping.
GOD DAMN IT JEFF/ANNIE

E Pluribus anus once more
Told ya.
Now, the movie will be the tricky part, but with fan support I bet it's doable.
Yahoo became relevant again!
This show has more lives than a cat.
Holy fuck, Yahoo?!
In related news, we narrowly avoided being struck by an asteroid.
I hope they can do 20+ episodes, but I'm really happy they managed to pull off another season regardless.
