My fear of backmasked(backwards) songs that have messages- How do I get over it? - General

Most backmasking isn't cryptic or horrifying, plus it's pretty obvious when it shows up. I know an Iron Maiden song, Still Life, that starts with a backmasked imitation of Idi Amin. There's also a Frank Zappa song that has a verse he was required to censor by the record company backmasked.

I'm listening to a backwards song right as I entered this thread. I won't fucking lie, I'm listening to the day that never comes backwards, no messages though.

I have an idea. Record all the backmasked songs while they are playing backwards. Put them on your ipod, place the song/songs on repeat, and then fall asleep. Didn't this happen to somebody else on here?

Interesting thing about the human mind is that it can take anything and warp it into something that it wants to hear/see/smell. Take trying to find satanic messages by playing music backwards for example.

Hell, the Chicken Dance or something. At least it's not an utterly crippling phobia, I mean this is the first mention of playing songs backwards I've heard in about six years.
