Every time i go into town the same guy comes up to me and my friends and asks us for 90p so he can get a train home.. There are NO trains for 90p and he never leaves to go anywhere. Once he was with a friend who went mental at one of my friends, shouting at him and shit because he wouldn't go into some gambling shop which had a deal on for a free game for each new customer. They eventually tried to force him into the shop so while one of them was in the shop shouting at the owner because he wouldn't let an under 18 play he had to run off :ohdear:
I HATE homeless people. Unless they're alright, but most of them are fucking weird drunks who bully kids into giving them money.
I love it when people beg me for money and I clearly have coins jingling around in my pocket, but I tell them I have nothing and keep walking. I think the next time someone asks me if I have any change to spare, I'll tell them I do, and keep going. They're fucking homeless for a reason and I'm not going to help them when they can help themselves if they choose to.
I may sound like a cunt, but I don't care. I'll never forget the time some old homeless man begged me for money so he could "get a loaf of bread" and I gave him my $2 allowance my mother had just given me. Yeah, big deal, $2? I was only 5, so that was a big deal to me. Being the kind and generous child that I was, I insisted that my mother go back so I could give it to him. She asked me if I was sure and I nodded and handed it over. We continued on our way and entered a store. Not two minutes later did I turn around to see the old man pulling out a wad of cash and buying smokes in the very same store. My mom could tell how heartbroken I was, she gave me another $2 and told me never to forget this lesson. Ever since I've hated homeless people.
I can only wonder what kind of thread OP would make if his mom forced him to give money to charity. "I FUCKING DONATED 20 QUID! I'M HAVING A HEART ATTACK!!!"
See the thing is it would be "FUCK I'M HAVING A HEART ATTACK BECAUSE I FELT SO GOOD I ORGASM'D INTO SHOCK".
Donating to charity I'm fine with. Lending a friend or a randomer a bit of money for a drink or a bus ride I'm fine with.
Giving money to hobo who lies to me, I'm not fine with. It doesn't feel like a good cause.
While I haven't given money to charity before, I do donate to film makers and indie game developers every now and again, because they're worth it.

3 people that agreed with me are the only ones with any sense of decency.
You guys keep bawwwing about how homeless guys will buy cigs or drinks with your cash, but honestly, you gave it to them, end of the story.
It doesn't matter if he buys weed or invests in quantum engineering with it, you gave it, he took it. That's all.

I liked your story, and I think it should serve as a lesson to all of us.

What the hell do those numbers mean after every post? I'm seeing it everywhere.
Apparently it's some kind of Subway giveaway code.
People like that just prey on people they view as ignorant. It's your fault for being suckered into it.
Although what you did was a good deed. That's what really counts.
