I know a guy that joined the Royal Air Force, and really loved it. And MRAPs are nice, but they are bumpy as hell. Bouncing around for 8 hours on end....uuughhh! Then again, you get tons of leg room. We were in humvees the first 3 months then after we got hit by an IED, we switched to MRAPs the last 3 1/2 months.
I really enjoyed watching those. Seems like an enjoyable job.
Nice vids man. Thanks for the service.
Thanks :) To xamllew: Yes, it LOOKS enjoyable but it isn't really. It's the hardest work you'll do in you're life and you'll sweat 10 millions times your body weight. I mean, we had fun, mainly because my squad had good comradery.
I've never been fond of US forces but they were great videos Thankyou
more like loud crack you silly flamboyant cigarette. wat
No... Actually you'd hear the wizz, not the crack. The crack is of a gun in the distance, you'll hear the wizz before the crack. If you're lucky. Or if the guy is a bad shot. If not that then the USMC, they train hard, but once you get the feeling of falling over and up-chucking. You know that it was good, and whatever is being done is being done to help you prepare for what might be ahead of you. Nothing I love more is videos from the war... it just gets you into that... feel... God I think I got a war addiction.

Jesus Christ dude pick a song and stick with with it. Also, good job standing around intimidating civilians and not doing much for anybody. War is fucking stupid.
......Yeah ok Risonhighmer, I'll keep your ignorance in mind. Oh wait, no I won't. lol Scoutking. And richardson, I wouldn't worry about being in the best physical condition. That's one thing about boot camp, it gets you in shape :)

If I some how sign up, or ever do, it be a pilot. LB or blackhawk/huey. [editline]10:45PM[/editline] Ill be honest some clips where surprising, the fact your base as a swimming pool. Your video betrays it as your in the first aid passing out rations. Buts thats basically it. [editline]10:49PM[/editline]
Heh, you make Iraq look nice. Some of this stuff should be on the media, showing that we are relatively making a difference. Though.. with causalities, instead they put that. "Solder died today in IED" I know it is to recognize the soldier and pay dues, but that seems to be it about media. Death and destruction of the world.
I think America has become occupied by pussy's. Nothing I hate more then hearing people bitch about Afghanistan. "We lose to many" wow, look at the numbs idiot, we been in it 8 years, and barley lost anyone compared to any other war. I blame the media. Funny how we go from 2003- war hungry, to 2007 onward to being pussy's and somehow in 2008-2009 being the super puss of the world. Are civilain population I mean, always bitching about something that could be worse.

They trust their selves onto the media to keep them informed, quite frankly I think most of this putrid poured from a news network is sheer bullshit. As well, though a lot of people believe the war in Iraq/Afghanistan is a lost cause, and we're only there for 9/11 mishaps, oil, weed, hash. So they see soldiers dying they think the mission is scrubbed, and it's not worth the lives.
I'm British. [editline]11:53PM[/editline] Although I might stick with the Royal Air Force
That's good too, the Brits are good fighters. From what I've seen.
Well yes, it does look weird that there's a swimming pool I guess from your perspectives, but a base overseas needs to have that. One, it gets really hot there. And two.....you need to have morale boosters! Think about it, are you really gonna have a base that has.......nothing? You've got people deployed to Iraq, you need to have things they can do to get their mind off the stresses of work and uh.......war, lol. That's why we have things like the movie theater (I saw Transformers 2 there for free :), saw it twice actually), the USO (they have free wifi that's really fast, computers you can use, phones you can use, games, etc), the gym, the pool (we have 2 pools on base). I mean, if you think about it, it's a no-brainer. Just because we have a pool or recreational places doesn't mean we're not doing our job. We worked a 7 and 1 there. 7 straight days of work, then 1 day off (if you even get the day off). So on our days off sometimes we'd go to the pool.
I'm British. [editline]11:53PM[/editline] Although I might stick with the Royal Air Force
I think the British have a harsher training then the Us does.
I think Enter Shikari is some kind of blessing in disguise. Their songs/name keeps getting mentioned around me. :tinfoil: Awesome vids though, Love looking at pictures of different countrys, +military for added awesome.
I think the British have a harsher training then the Us does.
The US army has it's fair amount of training that is sophisticated to it's on kind. As well as any other army training facility. Each will teach you based on what you need to know for the basics. If you get further, or want harder you can move into higher rankings of forces, Special Ops, etc.
I think the British have a harsher training then the Us does.
Royal Marines have the toughest training within the whole of NATO Three training phases to ensure maximum qualification of trainees (and to make sure RM aren't wasting their time with idiots) The Army however is completely different to the RM. It's more or less identical to the US Army. Royal Marines find themselves mostly in special missions and specializations, and are trained for a more extensive period of time (and definitely more intensive). Most successful individuals progress onto things like the SAS and SBS (but that is ultra rare!).

A bullet cracks, not the gun, the bullet cracks, because it's breaking the sound barrier as it flies. Sub sonic rounds don't obviously.
Actually, you can hear the wizz. A guy on another one of our squads got hit by stray fire from off base when we were at our compound and you could hear wizzing sounds. Very faint though.
only on sub-sonic rounds how ever.
Lol, At 5:12 the kid in the blue is grabbing his crotch in the 2nd video
My brother was stationed there for 4 months. He never left base. And I thought you were not suppose to go on the diving boards anymore because of snipers? The place also has a free movie theater.
Just wanna say thanks for your service, nice videos too. 6:05 seriously looks like an opening scene to a movie to me or something, haha.
