Happy new year all GMT-> errs
Happy fucking new year from Netherland guys. Just finished my fireworks. [editline]1st January 2012[/editline] Awwh, my poor bunny rabbit animalthingy is scared.
We tried to set off some of those Chinese Lanterns in the garden but it was too bloody windy. Goddamn English weather.
Have an awesome new year guys. We'll also welcome 12'ers.
Ah, yes, New Years Eve. My family doesn't do anything for it, and I'm never invited to anything. Seriously. I'm lucky if someone even wishes me a Happy New Year, We don't even watch the ball drop. I'll do what I do every year: Sit in a dark room, eat a self-bought box of chocolates, play video games, and force myself not to cry. Sorry to disappoint, but New Years is one of the most soul-crushingly depressing times for me.
I'm in the same boat. My family basically went to hit the bars, i am a year too young to go legally, and all my friends are out of town/state or are spending it exclusively with their girlfriends.
I'm stuck here babysitting, really not how I wanted to spend my new years...
Happy New Year everyone! :D (About 1 hour late for my timezone (GMT) But hey - early for others!)
I don't celebrate New Year's Eve. Considering the implications when explosives are mixed with alcohol, I wouldn't see a reason why to succumb to the wave of victims of social convention, just to partake in a sub-religious celebration to a simple cardinal number. Probably means I'm going to spend it alone as I am apparently without friends, and bitch about it to strangers on the internet. Don't even get me started on Christmas, after the so called "Facebook-Grinch" fiasco, I'm not surprised I don't have any friends.
What a buzzkill
Happy New Year Everyone.
Had a godawful party at a pub (including a totally anticlimatic countdown) but a great bowling game after. Not sure if this night was good enough but whatever. Happy New Year everyone BTW.
We tried to set off some of those Chinese Lanterns in the garden but it was too bloody windy. It's 10:00 PM here :v:
It's 10:00 PM here :v:
Offtopic but, I think you might be the first guy I've seen on this forum from the Dominican Republic.
We struggled too (in Manchester) but we figured it out, you light them indoors and dont take it outside until it can rise on its own, then its lanterns away! :D
Our main problem was the amount of large trees and powerlines in the direction the wind was blowing.
You know you had a good new years when you kissed three girls and made out with another one, shame that the latter wasn't the one I liked. Happy new years to everyone, I hope you have a good 2012 (even if the world did end:v:)
A bit of family, tons of food, TONS AND TONS OF FUCKING CANDY AND SWEETS, and Steam makes a happy night.
My family and my cousin just had some Chinese fondue, specifically, hotpot. [editline]31st December 2011[/editline] For new year that is.
