Not to mention the fact that Anita Sarkeesians ideal females are hardly developed female characters

But seriously, The Boss is hands-down the single most influential character within the entire series.[/QUOTE]
The boss was pretty great but it's too bad a lot of her writing especially her backstory and ideologies fall's completely flat on it's face.

Maybe I'm just stupid but I recall a lot of what she said not making any sense at all, like the way she talks about what being a soldier is like it's some ceremonial samurai type shit, the way she imply's that the world was one before WW2 (It really wasn't) etc.

Her maternal characteristics especially bring it all together, successfully creating a great female character.
Boss was fantastic, all around.

Everything she said made pretty much perfect sense. Everything she said, and all of its interpretations, are what basically caused the entirity of the Metal Gear saga.

She never implies the world was one before WW2, she says that when she got to go to space as part of the US' secret program she saw the world as one because from orbit she couldn't see nations or borders, she just saw a planet.
From this point absolutely everyone managed to fuck up that one remark and somehow bastardize it into some weird interpretation.
