You just posted a lost coast video on a garrysmod forum. 99% of the people here have probably done exactly what you did. Your work doesn't have to be a masterpiece if you wanna post it, it's just that gameplay videos of something we've all played aren't really that interesting.
Okay after reading the thread, i'll post some "constructive" criticism, (i.e. positive)
The way you took down the helicopter was really... explodey. It was fun to watch the helicopter explode, and made me think back to the many times I had done the same. I was therefore surprised, and astounded, when I realised that your efforts to take it down were not going well. The music was irritatin- i mean "unique", and it synced to the helicopter dying. Whilst this effect could have been achieved through the means of this wonderous thing called "editing", I appreciate that this is the first time you have tried to make a video, and therefore I understand that I am meant to forgive all its shortcomings.
Incidentally, if you're going to post gameplay, just pick out the gems. Not meaning to promote my own shit, but here's a video I whipped up quite easily with just a few cuts and edits here and there.

It's hardly a masterpiece, but I thought it was fun for people to see some of the features of a mod that enabled co-op play, and so that people could see how half-life 2 played out with a friend.
It is not my "first video" because that one was utter detritus.

Likewise, a video like this is also good because it is something unique, that not many people have seen. It is similar to yours in that it is just a clip of gameplay, but it is an absolute gem of a moment, rather than just a long, somewhat pointless clip.

It isn't "Machinima quality" as you put it, but the creater has taken time to find some good music to go with it, and to edit it slightly.

I know you posted this a while ago, but the choice of music was pretty annoying. People want music that fits the mood, syncs up, or has some progression following the video. It doesn't mean you have to choose songs you hate.
