expected this:http://youtube.com/watch?v=foE3ZdVgnEk
Oh I could easily make something far worse than this.
I felt nothing because the whole thing just felt so fake
I felt nothing because the whole thing just felt so fake
Yeah, when you look at it as that you wouldn't feel a thing, but if you look at it as being real you feel a little something. Still, some of these are good and do seem pretty realistic anyway.
ok it's sad but at 1:58 are you serious "and like he never thought he would die speeding" they REALLY should've done without that part i mean how important is "friend from work" compared to just about everyone else anyway
The commercial was pretty long, so yeah, you're right, they should have deleted some part of the commercial.
it's actually not a very good ad tbh, all it does is evoke a little bit of empathy, it doesn't actually make you think about speeding those super-gory scary ones with the shock tactics are more effective metinks
Not really, most kids these days are pretty desensitized from TV and video games it doesn't really phase them. My dad watched allot of medical shows when I was young so I was exposed to what the aftermath of a car wreck looked like for most of my life so when I was doing my drivers ED it didn't really bother me. Also those pictures come from the REALLY bad wreaks, all the car wreaks I have been to(I am an EMT) have been fairly minor, only one required extraction and that was just because the guy was stuck, he wasn't badly injured at all. The only wreck I have ever seen where someone had died was one my dad stopped while he was driving me home(he is a paramedic), car ran a red light and took out a motorcycle killed both people on the motorcycle. I remember my dad telling me the man driving was pinned under the car and they had to get a forklift to get the car off of him, and the woman was killed on impact. Sad thing is they had a kid.
expected this:
This and the full version of this are the only videos I have ever seen that have ever made me feel sad. Everyone should be forced to watch this for drivers ED, there would probably be allot less dumb fuck teenagers who do 50 in a 25 MPH zone while texting there friends about the facebook update they just twittered that said how fast they where going.
This and the full version of this...
Wait...there is a longer version of the car doing a barrel roll video?
Slow down... Or we will censor your car.
Thanks for making me depressed for the next hour. D:
woah, aren't you a smart one... you realised what the ad was trying to convey. good one mate.
I thought the message was don't speed. But all I got out of the video is, "People cry about a kid who made a stupid decision." Boo-hoo.
I think it's fucking hilarious because of their australian accents. [editline]05:58PM[/editline]
God damn it, why didn't that make me sad? Oh yeah, the accents.
hey i agree man
expected this:
Seriously, what moron swerves knowingly into another car to avoid a dog, he should've just fucking stopped the car.
So it was the speeding driver that died? Good then i fail less guilty LAUGHING AT HIS CRYING PARENTS HAHAHAHAA :crying:
Seriously, what moron swerves knowingly into another car to avoid a dog, he should've just fucking stopped the car.
When you slam on the brakes at high speed it's very easy to lose control.
Except it wasn't. View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=RvlVrLtaf0Q
Wow thats quite sad. :frown: [editline]12:52AM[/editline]
When you slam on the brakes at high speed it's very easy to lose control.
It's easier if you have anti-skid breaking.
Very effective. To bad that I never speed.
this doesnt help that the fact my friend died today
Sorry m8 [editline]01:15AM[/editline]
expected this:
Fucking hate those adverts, the shock tactic is for morons!
Wait...there is a longer version of the car doing a barrel roll video?
No, that is just part of the video, there where other wrecks in it.
wow, i nearly cried at the father part
Hahaha his brother turned emo [editline]11:33PM[/editline]
expected this:
Fuckin' cats.
It's easier if you have anti-skid breaking.
which stops you from breaking...
It's a sad thing but the pathos used for making this made me instantly hate the makers of the video and I could not get touched. [editline]09:09AM[/editline]
which stops you from breaking...
It actually doesn't since skid friction is much lower than roll friction and the technology keeps tires from skidding, shortening the way of breaking up to 15% while maintaining a controlable vehicle. It is pretty fucking awesome.
This is what they need to be showing in Drivers Ed. Not those gorey car accidents, this gets the message across. When you see those car accidents you're looking at what could happen to you, they're not showing what happens to those you care about and love. I cried, and am not ashamed to admit that. I am ashamed however to have chuckled at the song at the end.
It might be that i'm a souless beast, or that being Australian I see these ads all the time. But I did not tear up at all, nor was I really affected
expected this:
I could not resist laughing. I'm going to hell...
I could not resist laughing. I'm going to hell...
It's like those B movies you watch just because they're laughably bad.
Too long; only watched half. The cunt shouldn't have been speeding or dicking around or whatever the fuck he was doing, and that eye witness was a poof.
It was sad, and I teared up, but I feel bad for laughing at the end when he was standing there with the song "Everybody Hurts" playing in the background. It just seemed...cheesy.
