I didn't get the UNIX joke until he actually clarified it.
I only understood the "What does the Force and Duct tape have in common?" joke :(
Loved the time one.
I sort of expected him to use the superconductor joke
How many ears does Spock have?
A right ear, a left ear and a final front ear.
:v:
Took me a while to understand joke 24.
Is that homestar runner in the background?
Oh my gooooooooo-

You're an idiot.

I fail to see what I'm wrong about. I said before, jump cuts are used to iron out the "umms" and "ahs" and other pauses during the video, whilst mrchicity is obviously a talented speaker and doesn't actually pause or anything like that during the time he speaks. He doesn't need to use jump cuts, whereas other vloggers use them to disguise the fact that, in real life, they're not actually that confident with words or anything like that. I mean, take Charlieissocoollike here;

You can see his voice is shaky, and he drops several "umms" during the presentation. That's because he's like that in real life. Now, look at him here in his most recent video;

Other than the first ten seconds (which are deliberately immature) you can see he appears confident and speaks very quickly about the subject matter. You can see how he uses the jump cuts to space out the different sections of information, rather than having an awkward pause in his quick speaking.
I mean, think of it as a live action Zero Punctuation video. In the sections where he's not using visual aids, the only thing that matters is the dialogue. Having it all strung together makes it quick and easy to digest, whilst the jump cuts allow you to figure out when one point ends and the next point begins.
So... Yeah. That's my take on it.
It doesn't matter if what you're saying is interesting.
