Why would earth just stop abruptly? Boy you dumb as hell.
The Earth is a rock.
A lot of scientists would disagree with you on that.
This isn't a news article.
No proof means that, basically, you're making this up.
No proof means that, basically, you're making this up.
It means we need to discuss how he's dead wrong.
Besides, you could just get on a plane and avoid it, silly.
Besides, you could just get on a plane and avoid it, silly.
:downs:
That's just nonsense to me =P
That's fucking pro, bring it on bitch.
OP is trying to depress us and failing horribly.
1: position behind girl 2: get ready for the greatest action you'll both ever get.
It's true! Space lizards are going to use supa-magnets to stop the earths rotation, in an event called the second Equillatorial phase! The first Equillatorial phase killed the dinosaurs! Their supa-magnet ray makes physics go away too! It's scary, and even though it's going to happen in the next few hundred years, I've already strapped myself in a safety gyroscope! Edit: Of wait 2012. Never mind. The lizards won't get here in time. /sarcasm
I just finally got my zombie plan worked out and now I have to figure out this one too. 1. Live a few hundred years more. 2. Start digging a few thousand feet deep hole now... like nearly to China deep. 3. Build a compound in said hole. 4. Bolt everything down. 5. Buy lots and lots of bungie cords to hold myself down. 6. Laugh when everyone else splats. In looking over my list, it is quite easy to do... I am just concerned with the living for hundreds of years part.
It means we need to discuss how he's dead wrong.
Well, obviously, this is the internet.
:downs:
What, that makes no sense to you? It said the objects on earth.
1: position behind girl 2: get ready for the greatest action you'll both ever get.
Haha, awesome. But I think we should warn our grandchildren to do it, not us.
This isn't a news article.
Ooooh, lol sorry. So you're the genius that came up with this? And the so called 'scientist(s)' that predicted this jazzz? My bad
I think that anyone on the planet will believe any bullshit you throw at them, as long as it starts with "Scientists predict..."
Ooooh, lol sorry. So you're the genius that came up with this? And the so called 'scientist(s)' that predicted this jazzz? My bad
Ok, smartguy Good job mistaking this thread for an official news article
How does the earth abruptly stop and make everything move 6000 miles east?
Besides, you could just get on a plane and avoid it, silly.
School homework in a hundred years: "If a plane is going the same speed the earth is rotating and going the opposite direction and the earth happens to stop all of a sudden because it 'wants' to kill us will the people in the plane be vaporized?"
A lot of scientists would disagree with you on that.
meaningless without evidence
Not gonna happen
1: position behind girl 2: get ready for the greatest action you'll both ever get.
You'll break your penis.
You'll break your penis.
They will both be dead anyways and it would be a hell of a way to go.
School homework in a hundred years: "If a plane is going the same speed the earth is rotating and going the opposite direction and the earth happens to stop all of a sudden because it 'wants' to kill us will the people in the plane be vaporized?"
The OP suggests that inertia would launch things. Inertia only works if you're on the object that stops.
The OP suggests that inertia would launch things. Inertia only works if you're on the object that stops.
It'd probably screw up gravity and launch the plane into the moon or something.
-snip-
When the Earth stops, it will take approximately 8 minutes to slow down before it stop abruptly.
Do you have ANY idea how much torque is needed to stop the rotation of a planet in 8 minutes? Where is this coming from?
Oh god its 2012 except the years are different open your eyes and take out the cable from the back of your heads people
Well, if the OP is right, this could be in 2012. Because it says within the next few hundred years, not in a few hundred years. That is, suggesting that the OP isn't entirely bullshit.
