Jesus its like a fucking Anti-Drug assembly they use to show at school. Grow up kids everything they told you isn't true. drugs are not horrible, they way more entertaining than any video game you have played.
Thanks, but I don't feel like wasting my life with a drug. I ain't that sad.
I always knew you were a fucking idiot.
Thanks, but I don't feel like wasting my life with a drug. I ain't that sad.
Too late, you take this one already. DMT is manufactured in the brain's pineal gland, and small doses are released during R.E.M sleep cycles. It's found in most living creatures.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimethyltryptamine
Why it is present in the brain is unknown.
Why it is present in the brain is unknown.
I heard some scientists have theorised it's what causes our dreams to be so odd.
If DMT was so dangerous your brain wouldn't produce it EVERY NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE.
YOU HEAR THAT ANTI-DRUG IDIOTS. YOU'VE ALL TAKEN DMT.
DRUGGIE SCUM.
Yeah isn't it the stuff that causes dreams or has something to do with dreams. Looking at the OP it sounds a lot like a dream, only while awake.
Then the X-Files being, looking
like some kinda blue-green Jackie Chan
With Isabella Rossellini lips and breath that reeked of vanilla chig champa
Did a slow-mo Matrix decent outta the butt end of the banana vessel
and hovered above my bug-eyes,
My gaping jaw,
And my sweaty L. Ron Hubbard upper lip,
And all I could think was,
I hope Uncle Martin here doesn't notice
That I pissed my fucking pants.
but then john freeman back flipped out of the sky and went squish,
then darth vader riding a banana thats riding a turtle came and then it went blue and green and red then my mom got scared, and said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air." I whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought, "Nah, forget it. Yo, holmes to Bel-Air!" I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo homes smell ya later!" Looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-Air.

That's more like something a 12 year old would come up with while trying to be funny rather than a drug induced hallucination.
Dmt

That sounds fucking awesome.
Post in the drug forum, we're idiots here in General discussion.

Such a comparison makes no sense.

I secund this :downs:
Such a comparison makes no sense.
Yes it does.
Wow... The fucking ignorance here is just on a whole new level. Why are people all like "HURR DURR DRUGS KILL U U`LL OD AND DIE HURR" when they apparently have no idea what DMT even is (other than it´s a drug and you´ll OD and die). And why are everyone so butthurt about this anyway. Isn´t it the OPs own business what he consumes?
So please, if you have no idea what you´re talking about, just shut up.
I've heard of the stuff. People say it's like you are having a dream.
In all honestly, if the person taking a hallucinogen is watched by a person who isn't high, it probable isn't very dangerous.
Yes it does.
I don't think comparing a psychedelic drug to alcohol makes sense, no.
I don't think comparing a psychedelic drug to alcohol makes sense, no.
Use your brain.
Wow dude. Good read...
Use your brain.
Isn't that something in your dick?
I don't think comparing a psychedelic drug to alcohol makes sense, no.
Both alcohol and DMT are drugs. Many people view drugs such as DMT as dangerous, while openly tolerating alcohol use. In reality, alcohol can be much more damaging than any hallucinogen, and he was simply pointing out the anti-drug crowd's presumed hypocrisy.

He put positive, neutral and negative effects there. Only using the latter would've made a little more sense. It's still like comparing apples and pears.

I don't see why you're making such a big deal about it. It still makes sense.
Isn't that something in your dick?
In your instance it is.
That sounds amazing,
definitely something I want to try.
I don't know guys. Seems to me like you're pissing away money.
Spending money to alter your mind is far more worthwhile than spending money on video games. Stepping outside of reality or experiencing more of it is important, just like looking at both sides of a debate.
I expected there to be a backlash from the GD general population, and I can't blame them, we're all entitled to our opinions. I was just hoping to share a meaningful experience and open some peoples eyes to the possibility that the controlled use of a substance can be inspiring and educational. Looking back on it now it feels like a dream, or a figment of my imagination, I feel now as though I'm more in touch with something...even though what that something is escapes me completely. I discovered no truth and I'm laying no claims in this thread, all I'm doing is relaying an experience. Opinions do not equal fact, I will admit I've made unwise decisions and done legitimately bad drugs, but in my opinion smoking DMT might've been one of the soundest spiritual decisions I've made recently.
I feel now as though I'm more in touch with something...even though what that something is escapes me completely..
I've heard of this before with DMT and 5-MeO, that you have a profound, realizing experience but when you are sober again it is entirely useless/meaningless/unknown
I suggest you check out DMT: The Spirit Molecule by Dr. Rick Strassman. It details his experiments with DMT, and the massive potential that it has.
I, myself, have never done a true hallucinogen, but I hope to this year. I'm looking forward to the experience.
To all of you anti-drug crusaders: Let's pretend for a second that DMT, though in reality it's physically harmless, is actually dangerous. Why does it concern you that other people are doing it? Is it affecting you? No. I suggest you stop trolling and let people live as they want. We're not hurting you.
