Oh my god, you're the manifestation of all awful consumer buying habits.

pls stop for the good of everyone okay?
No, if I want to buy a game, I buy a game.
I very rarely preorder. It's always a game I know I will like based on previews, trailers and gameplay trailers.
for me I would never Pre - Order a game untill I got to play a Demo
I only pre-order games from series' I enjoy, since they're usually limited/collectors editions and I just like having a guaranteed copy waiting for me. I hardly care about whatever bonus shit they tack to the pre-order. I've never pre-ordered a game that's a new IP. Hell every time I go to get a new game I didn't pre-order from the store, they usually have the pre-order incentives in them. This happened with RAGE, a week or two after the game came out, I just waltzed into Wal-Mart's electronic section, picked the game up, and when I opened it at home it had all the dumb little pre-order incentives in it.
that to if I am big on one series I might pre - order it
As stated in the video, aside from the usual $5 off or one or two lousy in-game items, there is [b]NO[b] incentive to pre-order. ESPECIALLY Today with all the digital distribution platforms. It's like gambling, only after the hand is laid in front of you, you can still reap the rewards even if you didn't ante up. Why throw down $60 on something you don't get to see or try for yourself, when you can wait and then decide. And then spend the $60 at that point if you wanted
I don't pre-order anymore. Never again. I got burned and I'm not getting burned anymore. And I thank Codemasters for teaching me that lesson, though I shouldn't because it cost me money
There's only to gain from waiting, and $60 to lose for not waiting
Unfortunately, I can't watch all the way through. But I can say in the event of Tomb Raider, I pre-order it for the 10% off- the pre-order bonuses are just extra. I know I'm going to buy this game, i see no reason why to wait until later, or until now, and get more for less dosh.
For, like, Aliens: CM, it's kinda silly because you don't get any discount or anything.
The only pre-order I enjoyed was SSX and that's about it, even then I'd played the demo by the time it released and knew it was awesome anyway
Last game I pre-ordered and regretted was Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on Steam, hugely regret that now. I don't have any plans to pre-order anything this year tho
I pre-ordered Brütal Legend, but I have wanted that game for ages, but I didn't have an x-box sso when I saw it on steam I got it immediately. I got a discount and a few hats, which is good too.
Brütal Legend is a different situation though, because it's been out for a while on consoles. There's no way the PC version could turn out to be a terrible game.
