[img_thumb]http://thestarceleb.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/black_dynamite.jpg[/img_thumb]
Wait...People hate black dynamite? AWW HELL NO LETS GO BEAT THEIR ASSES. Seriously though, Black Dynamite is one of the most funny movies ever made. Words cannot describe how fucking amazing that movie is.
My case is somewhat of a subversion, this movie everyone in my school liked, cept for me. In this case, motherfuckin Skyline.
The latest Indiana Film.
IMDB seems to hate Dinner For Schmucks, but I thought it was great. [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline] Actually, opinion seems to have changed a bit. It had a 3/10 rating when I checked after first watching it, it's gone up to 6.2, which is fair.
Dr. Dolittle II. I loved it, everyone else hated it. :saddowns:
House on haunted hill
[img_thumb]http://thestarceleb.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/black_dynamite.jpg[/img_thumb]
Uhh.
Star wars episode 1 AvP Predator 2 Just visiting
It has the passion of Tennessee Williams afterall. [editline]20th December 2010[/editline] Yeah I know what you mean. I have a couple of friends who I watched it with and they love it, but so many people I know seem to hate it just because they think South African accents are funny... or something stupid like that. [editline]20th December 2010[/editline] [img_thumb]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UOybyA6J3tU/SQIvlWSVduI/AAAAAAAAAA8/dQ6n4yseVls/s400/gran-torino-movie.png[/img_thumb] Again, everyone on the internet seems to love this film but in my experiences with friends, opinion is very divided. A few friends loved it but the vast majority seem to think it was too slow and too boring. Embarrassingly, the much prefer the British racist/homophobic/xenophobic Daily Mail version of the film; Harry Brown.
I hated District 9 because I thought the ending was shit. I genuinely enjoyed the Expendables. Not even bothered :iia:
Mulholland Drive was great for me. To fully understand the concept, the director's extra film on the dvd helps.
[img_thumb]http://www.cultreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/postal_movie_poster1.jpg[/img_thumb] I loved it.
I remember there being a scene where the Postal Dude uses a cat as a silencer for his gun. That was so freaking funny. Does anyone have a video of that scene?
I actually got into an argument with a customer at the comic shop I work at over this movie, We eventually got the whole store into an argument. His side had 8 people, mine had 4. I won.
2012. Found it very enjoyable. By no means good, but enjoyable.
Star Wars Episodes 1-3. I love them all though, just to clarify. But seriously, looking at threads on Star Wars on here was the first time I found out anyone at all disliked/hated them. Then I kept finding more people who really thought they were crap. I just don't understand it....they were awesome.

Cloverfield Everyone I know was all like 'I GOT DIZZY'
G.I. Joe: the rise of Cobra, seriously, what was wrong with it?
Star Trek: First Contact My entire hometown doesn't understand it.
Someone hated First Contact? ...What town do you live in? I have a bom-package to deliver there.
Almost all of you guys are naming incredibly successful films
All the friends I went to the film with hated Scott Pilgrim VS the World. Yet I loved it, the comic book style transferred into a film was unique. Dialogue was funny. And of course the video game references were awesome. What's not to like.
Kindergarten Cop.

I just don't understand it....they were awesome.
Shitting all over the original trilogy and with less than stellar characters doesn't help it's image. Kicking off a decade of the worst effects ever to grace the silver screen doesn't help either. I like them too, somewhat. They obviously aren't all bad but they're bad enough that they're more like fun B movies and not so much an adequate heir for the blockbuster of the century. Honestly did anyone find the first half of Episode II even remotely mysterious? The plot was set up like kindergarten theatre.
Total Recall
You guys probably know Taxi Cab right? Well there's a movie called Falling Down, and people always say it's a rip off of Taxi Cab which I highly disagree with. Falling Down was the first movie to even get me close to crying.
I'm not saying everyone in the world hates that movie, just that everyone THAT I KNOW don't like it for 1 thing: it's in B&W.....:commissar:

As do I.
Watchmen. Everyone I know hates it :saddowns:
Well, Maybe because everybody doesn't enjoy a pair of two blue balls dangling in front of them on a huge projection screen.
Maybe not everyone is secure in their sexuality. :v:
