Don't give a misinformed, immature, arrogant 14 year old kid on the internet attention if you know he is a moron..
He doesn't know what he is trying to get across he just made a hate thread with no valid points or anything.
You know dynamos right?
Well, you hold the pieces together with magnetic force.
Therfore no friction.

Well you just discovered the secret to infinite electricity production, you are a fucking super-genius. Just like Steven Hawking.
Since you don't know who he is, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Hawking .
I love Australian accents. I have nothing against the people of Australia. The government did something you hate for causing more problems then it fixes. What a surprise. Also, the OP needs to check his/her spelling a little closer.
Australia on the whole is a fine country, we have our fair share of dickheads but on the whole most people are fairly laid back.
Politically we're fairly technologically backwards, most of the people making the technological decisions aren't doing it for the good of the people but rather they're acting in a similar fashion to modern television stations. Give the people what they they think they want in order to drive up their approval ratings.
The problem is in the way censorship is being approached, they're essentially saying "Hey guys, you don't like child porn right? Do you agree we should stop it? Yes, alright here's how we can do it all you have to do is give up some of your freedom and ability to choose as a citizen. What? You don't want to do that? But think of the child porn" And bam, the people who aren't affected by it (Aka the large majority of Australians who either don't use the internet or only use it for Facebook) say "Go ahead and ban child porn, I'm not giving anything up"
What they fail to see if that they are giving up more then they bargin for, they're not "Banning Child Porn" as they claim, they're banning anything that isn't inside of the standard political Australian Moral Ground. The internet is a neutral ground and giving the government the power to selectively ban any website is not a good idea, despite their claims of not misusing the list even the original draft had major issues.
In short, we're not a bad country but our political leaders are driving the censorship issue due to political greed. And they're using the child porn issue to drive a solution that takes the power of choice from the people.

Since you don't know who he is,.
Yes. I do.
I know a lot of people who don't bother with the 120 hours (it's 200 hours now?) thing and just fabricate log entries. I'm not sure how much the government really expects this to be upheld.

EDIT: **Logs off**
I heard they were thinking of lowering the 120 hours because it's too much. I really think 60 is enough, but i've had my p's for a few months so it doesn't bother me.

It's going up to 200 in Queensland.
Dylanhutch, loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
a race to be less shit
looooooooooooooooool
It's going up to 200 in Queensland.
Damn, it's so stupid because even more people will just fake it. You get to a point where there's not much more to learn when driving with someone else, you learn alot more by yourself.
Why would you need a license anyway? Real Australians ride around in kangaroos
It isn't really anything like that. Only ''censorship'' is the occasional banning of a game. And who needs L4D2 when you have teh original uncensored.
Fuck you OP. Im guessing you are a dumbass who read a couple of things on the internet about one politician who didn't ban any games. Just minimized the gore. I bet you read up Australian history you'd see we are a way better country then you give us credit for you fucking retard.
I live in Australia, and though I'm probably the last person to be patriotic here I have to say this really is the dumbest thread I have ever read.
OP you're an idiot. Also use less commas, you sound like a retard saying things in fragments.
He was right about it being a contest between who is the least shit.
On one hand you've got the Milky Bar kid who wants to censor the internet... on the other, Tony Abbot... *shudder*
Excluding politics, this country is actually pretty awesome. It's the fact that it has a tendency to be a bit of a nanny-state that fucks it up.
And what are you talking about with the driving? To go from your Learning license to your Provisionals its 12 months and 120 hours (inc. 20 night hours). Sure it may take a long time to obtain your full license afterwards but you can still drive by yourself, and the curfew is in place to SAVE LIVES.
And so far lives are still in danger, even more now than before if I recall correctly.
Australia is fucking stupid. they ban everything
*cough* l4d 2 *cough*
i'm pretty sure the Australian citizens can make their own damn choices on whether or not to buy that game or anything else the PoS government bans
I agree with you 100% although you do a terrible job of explaining it.
Nah, we got it censored for the kiddies so it's unbanned, or so I heard.
australias a great country apart from the politics.
I couldn't call any other country home. It's just great here.
Even though the laws suck. Australia makes a ideal vacation spot.
Vacation all year around for me. I love Queensland.
And it's probably a case of the grass always seems WORSE.
America doesn't sound too great to me, what with no public health care and such
And so far lives are still in danger, even more now than before if I recall correctly.
Of course there are lives still in danger, you can never fully stop deaths on the road. I should have worded as to bring upon the point that the high amount of hours and the curfew is in place to ATTEMPT to prevent lives. There are ALWAYS going to be idiots and drunks on the road who crash.
well they banned Twilight
Do you realize the damage that the Australian tourism industry is going to get just by this thread?
Look what you have done, you have killed your own country.
