GTFO. No random caps in here boy.
What's wrong with not liking australian politics?
probably a lot better than the idiots now.
This alone proves that we are dealing with a kid
[editline]07:13PM[/editline]
Coming from your xfire page you are 14 Dylanhutch, so you probably dont remember alot of the Howard years, you werent born when Keating or Hawke was in power and you probably dont know who those two men are either.
The only arguement you put forward is that you disagree with the Government, well hop in line, everyone complains about the government because we expect such a high standard from them, we need to scrutinize their every move to ensure that everyone gets the best outcome. You werent around when Howard introduced GST so you never have really experienced an uproar like the one created because of this new internet plan.
From you post is obvious you have no understanding of the Australian political system, not surprising from a 14 year old. Also, you diagram makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, from what I understand you are trying to imply that users on the internet are going to drop, while people who want to look at this blacklisted material, will continue to look at it? even when its blacklisted?
You are lucky you live in such a stable country, you dont need to fight for aid or rations, drink dirty water or be forced to join the military and you are getting butt hurt over the internet censorship bill which wont have a chance in hell in getting through the HOR or the Senate? Go outside for a little and live for god sakes.
tldr: grow up and read the news.
Agreed, this is alot more important than your butt hurt over the internet censorship.
This kind of man is the one who should start a thread, somebody who actually understands what they are talking about.

Ahahaha who are you kidding NZ is a hole
btw Australia has way more positives like lifestyle and environment than just one problem time in politics
AUS ftw
Every where is a shit hole.
I rather live in a Citadel
Fuck off, Australia is the best in the world!
As an Australian I'm proud to call you an idiot OP
[sp]Rate dumb if you think that this is a well done thread.[/sp]
[sp]Haha! Can't rate dumb now can you! Bitches![/sp]
Rated you dumb. Feel better?
Australia is rather nice if I do say so myself, however I hope the mining companies find a nice deep shaft to drop our labour government into. It's beyond a joke how terrible they are at managing a country, the only thing that cheers me up about their constant fuck ups is that in the process they have pissed off enough people that they *fingers crossed* wont be getting into power again, and hopefully that includes Conroy's plans going up in flames.
Yes agreed. At first I was like "YAY" Kevin 07. Now I'm like get him out before he does anymore damage. Tho I will say he did help Australia through the financial crisis.
ITT: everyone butthurts and rates OP boxes & rainbows for him trying to state his option
You're pathetic as ever FP
dont dis australia :@
I'll agree with you that the politics are utter shite. If you think anything else about Australia is shite, compare it to the rest of the world.
Australia has gone to shit in the last year, you have some christian idiot that want's the internet censored, or some christian idiot that want's to make schools teach christanity.
I have personally lost all hope for Australia.
It is no longer a free country, I don't think it ever was.
The politics, are, shit, it is a contest not of who can be the best, but who can be the least shit.
Also, the minority, in this and many other cases, are stupid drivers, they be dangerous and then die in an accident, then, the government, being stupid, say... Make it so you have to drive for 2 years and a lot more hours, but of course this only affects the majority.
Also the internet censorshit, below is a diagram for dummies

I'm not quite sure what you're whining about really.
Would you rather live in Russia?
We're a safe country and have VERY average politics, yes, there's that wanker who's trying to censor the internet, it IS retarded, but doesn't make the Country bad in the slightest.

Oh get of your high horse, everyone bashes the government of the day including the media, then after they go on about how it was so great having them in parliment. It happened with Howard, its going to happen with Rudd.
Look at other countries and be thankful our government actually takes an initiatives to do things and not sit around idly by as unions and treaties bank roll everyone through this time. Be thankful what the government does for you, becaue we are VERY lucky to have one which works.

you're the one being pathetic.
FP is simply stating ITS opinion on the OP: Fuck you.

I love it how your post makes managing a country sound easy...
The government can only do so much, it'll please others and anger the rest, the fuck else do you expect?
Some people will fight for censoring, others will detest it, it's not the Government you should be hating, it's the citizens who want things done, the Government just makes the things we want happen.
There's only so much money to use to fix stuff, it's not infinite.
Get over yourself.
@HeHe
No government system works. If we had that, well we would have peace?

You are getting International Relations and the general structure of a Government mixed up.

That's immature to say, just because you realise you're wrong. And no, Australia doesn't suck.
Australia is only second to norway in it's quality of life, according to the 2009 UN's human development index. You are whining about the (shitty) ruling party, wait till the next election and hopefully the lesser of two evils will win.
I'm still waiting for my Laptop K.Rudd promised.
I was proud the day I realised his name was crud.

When did I say Howard did a bad job? He should have spent that huge surplus because no doubt they would have done a better job than Kevin's mob but aside from that he was "fine", probably not brilliant, but not bad. Governing a country is no doubt very difficult, but there is something up when you go from a surplus to billions in the red with very little to show. You mention unions, you realise labour is notorious for bending over for the unions? And now they have wasted all their money they feel the need to put a massive tax on our biggest industry.

I love how you say money isn't infinite and yet you are defending our labour government? what? Maybe you should tell them that ;) Also who the hell fights for censorship aside from the uneducated, tech ignorant religious nuts for the most part? The vast majority DO NOT want it but democracy be damned Conroy wants to push ahead, that IS the government, not the populace.
We're not particularly interested in your redefinition of ratings; if we think you've got the brain size of a lobotomised rat, then we'll rate you as such.
i hate how people are so keen to get kevin voted out and shit, yet if abbot were to get voted in, the'd hate him twice as much, because he's twice as much a fuckwit.
it's thinking like this that got kevin voted in in the first place. But now the liberal party has worse leaders, so theres no going back to howard now.
Fig.1 is awful.

We'll see, Abbot obviously has immediate obvious downsides like him seemingly leaning a little too far toward the whole religious conservative direction. But the Liberals have throughout history been much better money managers than Labour and we could certainly do with some of that right now and while Kevin has proven himself to be useless Abbot hasn't had the chance to yet :p
OP, you're only 14, you don't know shit about Australia yet.
Wait until you are actually old enough to vote and understand how much better-off we are compared to places like North America, who were crippled by the GFC.
Sure, Labour came in and fucked everything up just like last time they were in power, but at least you didn't lose your job and house.
This whole internet filter will most likely go ahead for at least 6 months, but due to the fact that the vast majority of voting citizens are against it and a fair portion of politicians too, it won't be up for too long.
As for the driving rules, I am hugely annoyed at the 0 tolerance for P platers.
As a red P driver, I can't have any alcohol at all within 6 hours of wanting to drive, because even if I blow 0.005 (1/10th the legal limit for a full licence holder), I am basically fucked and back to square 1.
The midnight curfew on red P's is also really fucking stupid and just means that I can't get home from a mate's house if I accidentally stay too long (although, I just take my Ps down if that's the case, because I am clearly very opposed to it).
What state has a midnight curfew for red p's?

Yes, because only the OP should be allowed to have an opinion, if anyone disagrees they are "butthurt" and "pathetic". Christ, i think i found someone more wrong in this thread than the OP.
Probably my biggest worry as an Australian at the moment is that the Rudd government is going to fuck up the Western Australian mining industry with this new tax.
Seriously, if they ruin the WA economy, I'll be fucking pissed.

Why exactly does he want the tax on the mining?
Also, I love your avatar, I don't know why.
