If Raisin is dead I will probably cry for the first time in years.
:crying:
I HAVE VERY BAD NEWS FOR EVERYONE and I want to apologize for not answering until just now. The news is coming as an edit in a few minutes while I write it out. EDIT: This happened yesterday so I'll start this from the beginning of the day. I woke up at around 5:40AM. Well, it's more like Raisin woke me up at that time. She was in bed with me (my apologies to the person who made her the small home but, she'll lay in it at night and wait for me to fall asleep before climbing up and falling asleep either on my neck, in my arms, or next to my stomach) and the way she wakes me up is by starting her ninja routine on me (She jumps back and forth over my legs and when I ask her to stop she'll walk quietly under or around our blankets until she finds my hand and starts fighting it, even when I'm too tired to move it) to tell me she needs to go to the bathroom. So I get up and off the bed (she does the same) I open my room door and she runs out and waits at the front door. We went out and did our early morning walk. I had to leave at 11 to start my errands so I took her and the doggy out for a walk prior to that. I changed and got ready to leave after we did our walk. I picked Raisin and the doggy up right before leaving because they like to run out the front door as soon as I open it. I walked to my room, put them and my bed and put a sheet on them as an obstacle so it would take longer for them to get out. I then ran out the house and closed the door. Fast forward>> to when I finally got back home at 9:36PM. I had caught a bus that picked up 27 minutes later than it was supposed to but, what can I do? I gotta get home somehow. From the stop I walked 7 minutes back home down a road that no one likes because it has no streetlights and there's bullet shells wherever you walk. I walk inside my home and I see my mom and little brother watching TV. They look me up and down and here's how it goes: M&B: Where's Raisin? Me: I just got here... M&B: Didn't you take her with you today? Me: I can't carry her around the whole town in my pocket you know -__- M&B: Well she's not here Me: You guys probably didn't even bother to look for her I bet. Hold on I start calling out for Raisin and clicking my tongue because that really gets her attention. She's not coming out from under my bed or out of my clothes drawers. I carefully lift up the bed sheets in case she was sleeping and she wasn't there. All this time I was still calling her and clicking my tongue so my tongue was starting to dry up and this got me really worried because I should've been greeted by her MINUTES ago. I open the front door and run out with the doggy to help me find Raisin. I walked to the park, checked by the dumpsters, combed through all the bushes I took pictures of her next to while calling her and clapping my hands and she was nowhere to be seen. I ran back to the house expecting M&B to be petting her as if this was some type of joke and in a very irritated fashion I ask: Me: Where did you hide Raisin:argh: M&B: We really don't know where she's at:geno: At this point I think "oh shit, something really happened" I'm thinking about how to find her and I remember that M&B we're in one car today and my oldest brother was in his own so they got home at different times. Me: Who got here first?!?! [Pause] M&B:... I think we did... Me: How long ago? M&B: A few hours Here they realized that they were the reason Raisin wasn't there. They opened the door when they got home and Raisin rushed out like she always does when the door opens. They closed it and when they finally noticed she wasn't inside they didn't move a fucking muscle to check if she was outside because they would rather think I would do something I'd never done before with her: carry her the whole day with me. I opened the door in case she came around so she could just run in. My mom was scared though that somebody would come in so she closed it and locked it. So I served a small bowl of milk and walked out with a little plate of food with some tuna in it and I walked out and closed the door behind me. I sat out in the parking lot and stayed even when my back was stiff just wanting to throw up the whole time from how tense I was feeling. She never came. Last night I layed in bed by myself for the first time since I found Raisin. I couldn't sleep because this bile mix of emotions kept churning in my stomach and I still felt like throwing up. I got up early today and I still have my door open but Raisin just isn't showing up::(:. I'm so sorry guys. I should've done more so this wouldn't of had happened and I fucked up bad. I don't want you guys to think this was a scam either so if you donated you can post your name and how much money you want back. I say how much because I can't give everyone exactly how much they gave because I used some for Raisin. Furthermore, I can't return the memory card that was voted on to buy with the donations because of a no-refund policy. If you want your money back in FULL regardless, please post your name and amount. I will start saving money then to pay those who want their full money back and I'll send it to the same e-mail used on your Paypal accounts. I am so sorry everyone I don't deserve any of your hearts or compliments for not doing more for your pet
Quoting post for other readers and... Use the rest of the money to print flyers and put them in the area. I had the feeling that this would happen. It's a small and curious kitten after all.

Get your mom and brother off their asses and recruit a few friends to form a search party.
We should have gotten that tracking chip. :crying:
Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Raisin! Nooooooooooooooooo
and OP you still deserve your hearts. you did something most people won't even bother to do.
I forgot to add something. The doggy hates cats and apparently Raisin is the exception. Last night when I was waiting for Raisin to show up and I had the doggy with me, one of the dumpster cats cam out from under a car. The moment the doggy saw it, she chased and barked at it. But she and Raisin slept next to each other all the time. Can you guys please submit flyer ideas so that I can have a Kinko's print them out tomorrow? and how I can make them waterproof besides sheet protectors because those will be expensive
I hope that Raisin shows up in your Bed next morning, I seriously do.
We should have gotten that tracking chip. :crying:
I thought the same thing yesterday. One of the few thoughts that kept replaying in my head was "I should've got her the damn tracking chip "I should've" [editline]17th October 2010[/editline]
10 bucks the dog died. [editline]17th October 2010[/editline] :frown:
I said the dog was helping me look for Raisin....

How fast does Raisin run? And how long was it since you lost it? Do you have any river near you that a kitten can't cross? Any wood areas? Highways? Try to narrow the area down. Edit: Also write that Raisin means everything too you and stuff like that on the poster. Who knows maybe another family got it and decides to keep it.
:ohdear:
I'll try to make one, I'm not the best at making posters but I'm sure someone here will be able to make a better one.
Any help is appreciated so thank you
I can make a second version of the flyer, think you want to have a reward listed on it or something of the like?
Oh god, this is terrible :crying:
Just ask the people at Kinkos to laminate the fliers for you. and as far as ideas for the fliers, Just put LOST KITTEN at the top in bold, under that, put a picture of her, and then contact information under the picture. Please please do this as quickly as possible.
It may not be that bad, my cat ran away and he made it back to my house after a few days. I'm sure he's fine and you'll probably find him soon.
Oh fucking christ. Not Raisin!
can someone write a quick and good description of Raisin? I'm terrible at describing things.

I just hope that the worst thing that happened is that someone picked her up because she was so cute and her way of running is very clumsy. On the other hand, the day I took her with me to feed the ducks she wandered off a bit so she couldn't see me but I could see her. She sat down with this hopeless look in her face next to a car and started mewing as loudly as she could so I could find her. I scooped her up and she started purring I don't to imagine her waiting outside the door and crying out the same way she did that day by the ducks while my mom and little brother complacently sat down to watch TV
Here is a link to a quick flyer I made in Google Docs: https://docs.google.com/document/edit?id=1N-MbxJ8kGeZqyMuFv5d5mLkQgyNyees_i7EPY1LSmSw&hl=en&authkey=CNCnvMYN I feel that the flyer should be simplistic and straight-to-the-point to maximize the chance of someone reading it.
