I vote to name it Raisin. :allears:
Awww, I love cats. Here's some cool names: Agree - Miki Disagree - Zuzu Dumb - Snowball (irony har har) Funny - Chezhead (:D) Informative - Odin Heart - Zippo Tool - Zabbie Rainbow - Mae Tips: Make a scratching post by wrapping rope around a 2x4 and nail it onto a wooden square flat thing for support. If you have hardwood floors, or non-carpet areas, just simply put a straw on the ground for a toy. The only things you should need to buy it in terms of toys is some catnip. Attaching a sock filled with newspaper and catnip to a string will work just as well if not better than some fish shaped plush.
Thor, The Destroyer of Worlds
You can't just let it care for itself... I think you should find someone you know who will be able to take good care of it. :(
You are nice. I have a cat with a similar story, i could feel its ribs and was scared to death of me when i got it, my sister found it on a busy Chicago (big city) street and brought it home. I called it "Shadow" because it is black but it responds to "Kitty" so i could basically call it whatever i want. I switch between Shadow and Doctor Freckles. Heres a protip from a stray kitten owner, get it checked for worms and get its shots FAST.
If you cant afford to keep it, give it to someone who can. Your life comes before its.
That is very kind of you, on another note is your cat like Harold? Why is he sprouting a plant on his head?
IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON LETTING IT GO AFTER A WHILE DO NOT GET ATTATCHED TO IT DO NOT LET IT GET ATTATCHED TO YOU. Cats will return day after day to where they one lived. Forever. If you're not allowed cats avoid contact with this one at all costs. Because you can't just let a domesticated cat go and expect it to survive. Find a family member or friend who has a stable place of residence to take care of it ASAP.

Why would he let it go...... Give it to a family member or somebody who cares, hell, give it to somebody on these forums, don't toss is back on to the street. :(
Name it Oscar :3 Just looks like that kind of cat. And if you can't afford to raise it, If you're in the US and not too far, I'll take him off your hands. I have more money than I need, so he'll be living the good-life.
im willing to believe that you're actually a good person so ill send whatever is left in my bank account
You, sir, are a wonderful person, and that kitty.. well that kitty is adorable.
I wish I had some money. My current balance is $0.00.

This picture... It makes life worth living... It makes me want to get up in the morning. It should be on every TV station just in the corner, it should be on every t-shirt and on everything you buy at the store. It will win American Idol, Englands got Talent, and every award that is given out to movies. It will have a bigger box office than avatar, this picture should be in 3D!!! This picture should be ground up and fed to the the world to end all strife and anger...
Name it Jerry! and don't overload on tuna or milk etc. He could get really bad teeth problems (like tarter) and will even weaken his teeth and they will chip. Dry food is totally necessary, while wet food is usually more of a treat. Plus cats can eat dog food (which is usually cheaper) just fine, It is literally the same shitty dried meat nonsense. Make sure in a few months or so that you do get a vet appointment for shots and to get him fixed! Puberty is a bitch for cats too!!! SO CUTE!
D'awww
It seems that the majority of you guys prefer Raisin as the kitteh's name. By the way I forgot to tell you guys it's a girl. Anyways the name won't be official until she has a name tag to back it. I also wanted to thank the two people who have donated so far for a total of $5.62. I really want to say who they are but I don't know if they would mind (please message me if you want to remain anonymous) so if I still have no word from them by tomorrow I will let you know who these generous fellows were.Tomorrow I'll make an invoice or something like that from Paypal so you guys can see how the account is doing. I will take pictures of the receipts from the purchases as well to show where the money is going. Thanks for the advice too guys. It has proven helpful and I'd appreciate whatever other advice you have. [editline]11:09PM[/editline]
Now that's the true way of saving a cat. Not taking it from a shelter, but saving it right from the streets.
I didn't want to place it in a shelter so it wouldn't get euthanized if it wasn't adopted plus I don't like how they are stuck in cages :ohdear: [editline]11:10PM[/editline]
d'aww. look at that kitteh, it has blue eyes.
Yes it does. I have new night pictures coming soon that highlight this fact [editline]11:10PM[/editline]
Raisin God damn it, name it Raisin. Also, [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/rating/heart.png[/img] x 999
Raisin is in the lead so far :3: [editline]11:11PM[/editline]
Take the vegetation off.
It fell off some time today. i actually thought it made her cuter [editline]11:12PM[/editline]
I suggest you bring it to someone who can take care of it without having to sacrifice a lot, maybe even a shelter. You could also try posting posters around town to see if someone would want to take care of it.
I'm going to ask around in school tomorrow to see if anyone can take care of her. The pictures should help [editline]11:13PM[/editline]
$3 donation. I know it's not much, hope it helps regardless.
I was asking for quarters in the OP. Your donation is VERY generous [editline]11:15PM[/editline]
You can't just let it care for itself... I think you should find someone you know who will be able to take good care of it. :(
That's a work in progress
So no one voted for Quack? :saddowns:

I've been taking it for walks so that it can get stronger and to strengthen its immune system as well. I resist the urge to hold it all the time too because I know that she doesn't stand much of a chance against any germs or bacteria I might be carrying:/ [editline]11:19PM[/editline]
That is very kind of you, on another note is your cat like Harold? Just click the google link at the end of the post to see how far I am from you. I hope it's not too far
Maybe set up a donation box or something away from you're apartment with a paper on it saying what its for and pictures of "Raisin". also say you have a paypal account
McLovin or Kramer, are the best names. funnies for mclovin, hearts for kramer

I resist the urge to hold it all the time too because I know that she doesn't stand much of a chance against any germs or bacteria I might be carrying:/
I wouldn't worry about the germs from you, to be frank, cats don't catch many diseases humans carry. You can however get cat worms from a cat, this is not a good medical situation for you, and dewormers can be found online and you can feed it to the cat once it gets healthy enough. They aren't too expensive. Medical shots are not _very_ expensive either, but i see your point. Try contacting family members and friends, hell, post that picture up of it running through the grass on your school campus and i bet you find a buyer and get to meet some cute girls who think you're "sweet" in the process. Also have $5, get it some canned food (just an example, don't get it this particular food you want to find food preferably in shredded form), that is what i fed my cat, but if you are really concerned about it's health (and want to pinch some pennies) go out and just buy some straight up milk.
guidtech, you have sent $5.00 USD to Jonathan.
I also hope other people pitch in, let this be known as the kitten raised by facepunch! EDIT: Also take note that if it has worms it may seem malnourished for longer than usual, you will also know it has worms almost immediately because my kitten liked to puke them up all over the place :barf: If you do see these DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH YOUR HANDS, you are probably safe if you touch worms puked up because that isn't where the little bitches come from (they spread through poop, the poop might also smell foul and look odd), wash your hands and sterilize them after handling if you ever encounter them.
Dawww, cute kitty :3: But just to let ya know, ducks shouldn't eat too much bread, it's hard for them to digest, and it fills their stomaches so they don't eat the more nutritional natural food.
This.. ..reminded me of this:
How much have you gotten so far? I'm thinking of giving some myself (something minute like $2) if you need it.
..reminded me of this:
Yes, but his kitten is on the offensive. Domo Kun stands no chance.
Name it "Adolf".
please just stop being an idiot because your avatar is an idiot too yeah i know im late call the cat "oscar" [editline]12:43AM[/editline]
I donated 40 dollars Animals have been more human than humans lately =/ plus I fucking love cats
nice idea i always liked cats too
I always liked the name "halo" for black and white cats. Also make sure to take a picture when he's stretching at least once!
