That duck picture is awful :ohdear:
Whoever killed that duck is a sick fuck if they did it for no reason.
Poor Raisin, she must be scared.
Oh man this is really bad, I read this thread when it was just starting off, and now I see this. Please get found soon raisin.
(That duck picture is really disheartening)
I want to kill myself :smithicide:
Im worried that raisin has been killed by a fox, if you get them in america?
alright OP i have been thinking and there a few things you should try while you wait for anyone to call you saying they found her.
1) cats are smart and if you were the only one taking care of it since its very little it would have made its way back to you, cats aren't stupid animals, so that could mean someone else has also taken care of it at times, maybe the same thing happened to them and it got away.
2) Also when you first saw it, it had a vegetable on its head. after it came through a chain-link fence, is there a house at that fence? and if so that would be a likely place as to where the cat got that vegetable from, maybe it was fed so if there is a house, go knock on the door.
3) camp outside for a night with some food
4) think like a cat, if the nights are chilly, the cat will want to find a warm place to sleep, the cat wants a comfortable place to sleep. And it will want to eat, any places around the area that the cat can get a hold of food by itself?
hope this may help get her back :(
[editline]22nd October 2010[/editline]
also maybe go door to door? it will take awhile but it will get the word out bloody fast, get some friends and each take a section of houses
Do this. Hit the nail on the head.
Also, one of the ducks I used to feed has been murdered. The blood on its feathers is not very visible in this picture. Would anyone please say a few words so it may rest in peace? A Haiku perhaps...
P.S.
As you may have noticed I stopped typing like
this because someone messaged me telling
me it really annoyed them to see that:/

Write down a list of people you gave the address too to help the police investigate(for the cat), for all you know someone might have been near by heard about it looked at where you lived, we should all get involved bring the person to justice that stole our raisin.
Poor raisin :ohdear:
Have these good lucks all the way over from the uk.
I'm going to finish all my activities as soon as I can. I'll be back sometime around 8PM and I'm just going to knock on all my neighbors doors and ask if they know anything about Raisin. I'll take some of the fliers with me when I do so they can see a picture of her.
Raisin could not have walked away a long distance by herself. Someone must have picked her up and I want her back now.
The reason I'm going to do this is that the fliers are being torn down. I did the walk from my bus stop to my house and I went to check on the fliers. The one on the mailboxes was torn down. Fragments of it were still hanging by some bits of tape. The wind didn't blow it away and I'm sure of that. The one in the little hut was also removed and I didn't bother to check the others because if even in somewhat private places they were torn down then i can only imagine the public ones like the school, park, and bus stops.
In short, at around 8PM I will knock on my neighbors' doors. The fliers are being torn down by some assholes and I can't do anything about it because I'm in school when it happens and I can't just install cameras to watch the fliers.
I'll talk to you soon guys
Put back new fliers tomorrow, since you probably don't have school then. Look who takes down the fliers and
punch them in the face. Hard.
Wtf, what kind of assholes would to that kind of thing? Just that's not right
Wtf, what kind of assholes would to that kind of thing? Just that's not right
People who have read this thread and recognized Jonathan in real life.
:ohdear:
Could be property owners who don't like signs or posters being put up. Still an asshole move, but if you want them to allow it, you might want to consider talking to them or something. That's if you find out it's actually them, which it might not be.
I just got home. I'm going to take a shower so I can display a more presentable
appearance when I talk to my neighbors. Hopefully they don't lie to me about Raisin.
And hopefully the cash reward encourages them to return her if they do have her
The information to the Pepsi account has been sent to you, Jonathan.

I was actually thinking it might be the mailman. I know the people who work in the clubhouse and they just limit themselves to the office work. And when they're done they leave out the front exit of the neighborhood which is not near the mailboxes
Hm, whats happening to the signs you put up on public areas? Are those being taken down too?
I wish I could help you search. :frown:
Don't we all?
I came back from knocking on the neighbors' a while back. But my mom is really starting to annoy me. She doesn't like that I keep using the computer to keep you guys informed on the situation. So she disconnected the charger from the laptop and it turns off less than a minute after that happens because it has a crappy battery.
My neighbors just pointed me out to all these spots where there's lots of stray cats. But they're all adult dumpster cats so they are very aggressive and I didn't see Raisin with them. I handed out some fliers to the neighbors so they can keep their eyes peeled for Raisin. I also gave some to like 15 little kids around the neighborhood. They are probably the most useful because all little kids would like some money to spend and the reward is going to keep them on the alert for Raisin.
I might not be able to update you guys on the situation as much as I want in the future but that's my mom acting up. I told her it's hers and my little brothers' fault and she just said she didn't care and I should stop wasting my time>:|.
Hopefully Raisin is found but if this doesn't happen within the next few days I...:gonk:...I think we should move on. Whoever wants their money back please post your name and the sum you want back. Remember some has been used but if you want it back in full I will work my hardest to regain your money. I don't want anyone thinking this was a scam and I'm very appreciative to have shared this experience with you all and ashamed that I didn't take care of your pet the way I wanted to ='(.
I think the owner of the kitten has taken her back, and probably that person who killed the duck was angry with you Jonathan for you taking her.
No offense, but your mother should really take a little more responsibility than that.
Well, I guess you can't do much about it. But, this will hopefully help the Pepsi cause, ultimately. I'm sure if worst comes to worst, Raisin will definitely be remembered and if we manage to construct the shelter, she and you will have made a definite difference in the world.
Prayers go to you and Raisin. Here's hoping she makes it home in the end.
I love cats
I think the owner of the kitten has taken her back, and probably that person who killed the duck was angry with you Jonathan for you taking her.
It's extremely unlikely that the two events are related. Stray dogs are usually the culprit when local ducks or small animals turn up dead.

I made sure she didn't have an owner. And if she did have one they weren't doing a very good job given the condition I found her in. I didn't do a good job taking care of her either tho:(
You did an excellent job. Don't blame yourself for the irresponsible nature of your family.
Well i rescued my cat today. I was running like crazy from one bush to another trying to get her. I finally got her by diving in dirt and getting ahold of her neck.
Even if you don't find her, atleast you'll know you gave a small kitten the best time it will probably ever have in it's life. Good luck finding her, I really hope you do, I've been following the thread sence the start
I have to admit I feel bad for the cat at this point. First you are mooching off the internet to pay for its foot/vet, okay, not so bad. But then you have this ingenious idea to send him all over the place to different people every week. What a stupid and heartless idea. Ever think that the cat would want a real family? Now I hope that you get rid of him. And I don't think Pepsi will want to be the 1000th organization to put money towards saving animals.
