When my room is pitch black I occasionally swear I hear a headcrab or zombie in my room
Scares the fuck out of me
ive had the same sort of feeling but if i dont try to open my eyes it feels like im dreaming while im awake... its hard to explain but it also feels like i get a rush of anxioty.
Oh and if I drink alot of soda with caffeine and whatnot and then take sleeping pills that always produces some weird ass shit
Whenever I'm about to fall asleep in class it feels like I'm about to keel over. Then I'm basically thinking, "FUCK WAKE UP."

I know it happens when you're drunk but when you're sober I don't think so. I dunno what could it be...
Never had this

Oh yeah, you feel like you're awake but you're asleep. I hate it.
This happens to me quite a lot actually, I can actually do it intentionally if I focus hard enough. But the whole spinning feeling happened almost every time I tried napping in class in highschool, that was annoying.
But cool I thought I was the only one haha
Its the third time i experience Eat Rocks Half Sleeping Dream
Happens to me, feels like I'm zoomed in on something. Feels pretty weird
This happens to me all the time, I just could never think of a way to explain it to anybody.
No, but I have experienced the "Half Asleep falling down stairs experience."
The one where you suddenly wake up and it feels like you're falling.
As have I.
The science behind sleep is fucking amazing. Not even science, just the crazy shit that happens.
:3
I used to get the feeling that I was "growing", the world around me would appear to be shrinking. Haven't had it in awhile though.
Other times, if I would lay down on a solid surface like a hard floor, or even a field of grass I would feel like I was about to fall through, or that I was weightless.
I usually experience a sinking feeling when i'm sleeping. It's actually kind of neat.
I actually feel more like I'm floating or drifting.
Like my bed falls away, gravity disappears, and I'm completely and utterly weightless in the dark eternity of space.
Then the dreaming starts.
I see flying dots orbiting around me, and if I move, they go too. They look to be a mitre and a half away too. And the dots are randomly coloured, and small as shit

Floaters?
I love getting the falling sensation. It makes me want to scream "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!". In fact I did that once while sleeping on the couch in the living room. In front of my whole family.
I'm glad I was too sleepy to pay attention to the awkward stares after that.
This happens to me as well when I was a kid.
When I was little, I used to have dreams where everything was black but I could hear my parents shouting at me "NO DON'T DO THAT" and it'd speed up faster and faster till it was just a screach. Freaked me the fuck out. Still happens sometimes.
