Sounds pretty cool i suppose. Good thing I'm only getting this for 30 AUD. Not sure about specialist though, At the cost of killstreaks you get character perks? Hrmmm

You are so blinded by your prejudice that everyone hates cod that you don't even read the posts you are replying to. He even said "it's a nice change". How is he bitching about it? He pointed out a fact that Mw3 and homefront have scorestreaks instead of killstreaks. Maybe they copied it, maybe they didn't. If they did, it means it was a good idea. Who cares if they actually copied it anyway. It doesn't make the concept bad.

where the fuck did those guys get those weapon sounds?
The weapons sound like a small hammer hitting some small metal thing This IS what happens inside the gun, but powder noise is a LOT louder
The whole thing with the drones and shit sound copied of what was in Homefront. Funny how they're now copying a game that was essentially a copy of MW2.
The only thing they copied from Homefront was how the killstreak system works. To be a point system.
Agreed. Specialist should start with no perks at all, and THEN start earning them.
They'll fix that in the next game.
Guess What: I'm buying this. Suck it
They need to fire their sound design team, because those gun sounds are horrendous. Call of Duty: Plastic Warfare 3.

Threads like this can be taken just about as seriously as a BF3 hate thread.

Holy shit, if there was ever a chance that I would want to play this game, even on a free weekend, this video erased it entirely.
this game is gonna suck so much ass its not even funny
Haha "Team focused individual".
I want to choke Robert Bowling out.
Was he in the video?
"Your character becomes the superweapon" "it's more balanced than its ever been before" OK
I like how the team oriented class gets all the shitty boring killstreaks while the other two killing classes earn the ability to lay waste to everything. Also, those drones are totally copies of Homefront (or you could say Frontlines: Fuel of War because they did this whole drone thing first)
Oh cool that 100 year old shotgun is back, maybe it will take them less than 6 months to fix it this time
Is this new MW2 DLC?
your game being balanced shouldn't be one of your main selling points, games are supposed to be balanced regardless
This game looks like complete shit really who the fuck would pay 60 dollars for this.
Well..... At least they're trying right?
I like the idea of earning strike packages via points and not kills, but the way they limited what you could get based on class is very one sided. A lot of people just chose the most popular three kill streaks, but I and many others chose kill streaks based on what class we were playing. By limited what rewards you get I feel it provides too much of a limitation.
When I heard about the change to point streaks I was actually happy. It makes more sense and hopefully encourage people to do more than just deathmatching. "more focus on you as the individual player" I didn't like hearing that. It really feels like they start with the good, team-oriented stuff only to show the specialist one man army and basically saying "don't worry, if you just want to shoot everything, you'll be just fine".
It sounded good for the Assault and Support 'classes' then they introduced the specialist and ruined it.
The parts I actually enjoyed about the Modern Warfare Series' multiplayer, were the Killstreaks, and finding out which ones worked in tandem with each other (ie. start out with a UAV, which allowed me to hunt down the kills for my next killstreak, Which would eventually support me in getting something great like a chopper gunner or an AC130) But with these, it defeats the purpose of customizing and experimenting. The support class seems boring (This coming from someone who almost always played for the objectives) and the assault class lacks much of the strategic value that came from UAVs. And the Specialist, is by far the worst idea ever to grace a multiplayer game.
Remote Helicopters? Must be a copy of homefront.
2 hour campaign? Must be a copy of homefront.
The Support seems to be good for tracking down targets for your team or holding objectives (as the name 'Support' would usually entail), while the Assault is out dealing damage and blowing shit up. So how the hell does a One-Man-Army Specialist fit in this? Limiting players to two-three perks was for balance reasons, so unless they nerfed/changed the perks or you only get more perks in a specific branch you choose, this might turn out rather ugly balance-wise. And attract every single twelve-year-old who thinks they're 'elite'.
I'll still buy this. Call of Duty is massive fun with friends. But BF3 is my top priority right now.

Always been more intrigued in an indirect support role than dropping bombs on people from on high. UAV and Counter UAV have been my killstreaks of choice in MW2 and Black Ops. As to "copying" Homefront: You mean MW3 is taking a fun gameplay mechanic that allows teamwork-focused players to support their team with intel on enemy positions from another game? I am perfectly fine with this. It was cool in Homefront and I have no problem seeing it "copied".
