I want to be the AC130 class.
How the hell can Specialist be even close to balanced? There's a reason that players get to choose only 3 perks.
Specialist is going to end up like the 1manarmy perk in mw2. Overused, overpowered, and plain fucking annoying.
I'm not sure if Specialist will really be that overpowered because there is no perk that makes you take less bullet damage, and you can die pretty quickly anyways. However, I'm sure it will just promote egocentric game play further making good teamwork less likely to occur.
I find the support killstreaks to be more interesting myself. Always been more intrigued in an indirect support role than dropping bombs on people from on high. UAV and Counter UAV have been my killstreaks of choice in MW2 and Black Ops. As to "copying" Homefront: You mean MW3 is taking a fun gameplay mechanic that allows teamwork-focused players to support their team with intel on enemy positions from another game? I am perfectly fine with this. It was cool in Homefront and I have no problem seeing it "copied".
In the long run, using a B2 stealth bomber to lay waste across the map is going to be a lot more useful than spotting 2 people with an RC helo.

I think the best combination would be spotting for someone using a bomber, which is probably what they intend.

The thing is that CoD isn't even trying to change anything about how the drones work. They've got the same types of drones, they act the same, they look the same, hell, they've even got the exact same UI.
Wow, this bumps it up from 'shit' to 'rent it overnight for a console'. Specialist class stops it from being 'PC torrent' though.

When they finally add the M14 EBR as an assault rifle, it's automatic. Not even considering buying this
I want to be the AC130 class.
It's been done; Skip to 1:20 to see it.
Then half of FP will buy MW3 and say how much shit it is. it happens every year. Seriously, people need to stop bitching about "omg they didn't change anything" its COD, you get COD for COD. its the same and i hate to say it but I enjoy it time to time. Its not close to the greatest game ever, but i like playing it. Don't go around saying how bad it is and acting like an elitist and being an ass to other people that play it. who cares, they like playing it. I don't go to an old folks home and flip their bingo tables because its the same shit every year. Point is, stop bitching about the game and let the people have their fun with it.
To be completely honest, I'm going to try both MW3 and BF3. And I'm probably going to have... oh no, [sp]FUN[/sp] playing both of them. Oh god no, anything but that.
"So we have the Assault, for the KDR type of guys" OK, understandable, CoD was always geared towards people like that anyway. "And we have the Support class, which offers team focus and support instead of kills" Wow, that's kind of an interesting concept, along with the pointstreak. I always hated how I didn't get anything for shooting down air support or capping flags in MW2. Maybe i'll actually pla- "And then we have the Specialist package, which after 8 kills gives you every perk in the game and turns you into a superweapon." What. "It's more balanced than it's ever been before" No it is not you fucking retard. Giving a player who already has a skill advantage over his opponent more power makes them just even more untouchable. Imagine playing soccer, and every time a team scores a goal the other team loses 3 players. That's not balanced, that's fucking stupid. It means that if team has just a little bit more skill than the other, the outcome of the game is disproportionally higher to their advantage- As in, their chances of winning doesn't match their actual skill level at all, and same with the other team.

That's cool and all that but a coat of paint is not worth more than 15 bucks, especially when you're painting it with shit.
Wait, if you have the specialist perk or whatever, do you still get killstreaks or is it just replaced with you getting all the perks? I think that'd be a nice trade-off. No Killstreaks, but you get a new perk every other kill.

To get the Nuke in MW2 you had to get about 7-8 kills. All of the rest was done by your killstreaks. With the specialist, you can get these 8 kills even faster because of the added perks. So if it's any consolation, a guy reaching 8 perks will probably die seconds after he gets all 8, unless he's really good or something.
Specialists don't have killstreaks. That's kind of the point.
I was thinking about it more and maybe the specialist won't completely break the game. He isn't getting perks that make him have more and more hit points, just more, well, perks. So if he gets in large firefight he could get easily killed. Of course in the hands of player that has a lot of kills/ almost no death ratio it could turn into a rape train. It's funny how they even mentioned they realized MW2 rewarded this kind of player and they wanted to change that.
I like how everyone in the youtube comments keep asking "OMG IS THAT A GOLD GUN?" Gold guns = goty all years. Also this video shredded any small idea i had of spending money on this game. I already wasn't going to buy it, but now i think i wouldn't even play it once if it was given to me for free.
And yet a hilariously large amount of people will still purchase this.
Sorry I just can't focus on the video, I can't get over the fact how bad the guns sound like and how it looks like there is no recoil at all. The guns sound like toys, in real life guns are really loud. If you don't have ear protection you could easily suffer permanent hearing problems. It seems like nitpicking yes but still, considering how 90% of MW3 will be shooting guns, they should atleast get that right.
