Also, my new toys arrived! [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7333627/pics/newtoys.jpg[/t] I went from doing pseudo planche pushups on the floor to barely being able to eek out 3x3 knee pushups on these babies. This is going to be fun.

New youtube video with a friend of mine:
Love the video, been doing ring work for a while now, mostly just building the strength for levers and whatnot. Probably going to buy some rings for home use soon, maybe even build an outdoor frame
Outdoor frame sounds awesome, could also do pull-ups on them!
Went HARD in the gym today, getting some serious distance with my gather step frontflips now. Got my wall flips super high and clean, swing gainers onto the ground instead of foam, backflips cleaned up. Feelsgoodman
I just posted this on gymnasticbodies for criticism, might as well post it here to get this thread back to life.
Still training as usual, got my first ever giants yesterday, my wrists are burning like crazy
What to do when you go to the next level? You drink while doing a back lever!
Goddamn I need to be able to control my body like that, I'm going to start doing exercises on days I don't lift, got a routine I can do rago? I want something that'll kick my ass, thanks for the feedback, and awesome videos man.
I'm getting super frustrated. I fucked up my wrists several months ago and they never got better so I've been making no progress. I saw a doctor after a few months on a waiting list and he told me to just quit working out and stop being self conscious of my image which is not the answer I wanted to hear. So I'm getting some Xrays done and a second opinion. [editline]7th September 2013[/editline] Well at least I kind of know what I'm doing, so when it's time to finally get back in the game I'll know exactly where to start and I won't have lost ground in terms of knowledge and research.

Meaning 3X20 perfect push-ups. 3X15 perfect pull-ups and chin-ups. Let's see... l-sit progressions and maybe a handstand?
I'm getting super frustrated. Stretch your wrists and start doing wrist push-ups to get the ultimate wrists. I worked so hard on them now, that I can hold 130 kilos on them without damaging them a slight bit! SO START DOING WRIST PUSH-UPS. THEY ARE MANLY AND AWESOME :D
Yeah but a sprain doesn't typically last for 4 months. I want to make sure that doing those won't cause any permanent damage. I want to make sure it's safe to ignore the pain, because I've been taught that you do not fuck around with joint pain.

Today it still hurt with specific movement. Be careful.
-snip- fucked up post Wrist push ups? I have never heard of these.
What is the best diet to go for when doing workouts like these? I have a small layer of fat over my stomach, but I still want to gain strength, so I am not sure if I should continue eating a ton or not.
You can gain strength regardless of your diet as long as you're putting in work, obviously if you eat under caloric maintenance the strength gain will be slowed down but it can still be done, just eat at caloric maintenance and you should be good.
I decided to stop screwing around. I'm gonna do core and leg exercises, and some bodyline exercises that don't use the wrist. I'm also gonna get all that weight back. I figure something is better than nothing and I'm growing impatient.
-snip- fucked up post Wrist push ups? I have never heard of these.
Look them up, they're thought of by Shaolin monks :)
Look them up, they're thought of by Shaolin monks :)
I've always wanted to go to a monastery and stay there for a while and live like they do, I imagine it would be a tremendous experience, physically and mentally.

I haven't really made any progress with bodyweight skills these last few months due to dealing w/ depression, but it seems that i'm not losing any progress, plus i'm doing weightlifting now. What i'm planning to do is get some gymnastic rings and gradually put a lot of skillwork back into my routine, whilst getting my lifts up to a respectable amount.
Look them up, they're thought of by Shaolin monks :)
Gonna have to work on fingertip and fist push ups more, couldn't do many.
I just want to be able to do a crazy backflip
Before i get injured (a double fucked epicondilytis) I did 5 weighted pull ups (30 kg) and 5 wall handstand push ups... nom i'm still facing with the injure from june of last year but now it's almost passed :| when the injure totally disappear i came back into training (i did the same thing in the past when the injure is not totally heal with a bad result for my arms)
Any suggestions for gaining range of motion reasonably quickly? I just started playing goalie for my hockey team and I'd like to be able to do full side splits. (still probably about 6 inches away) and widen my butterfly stance.

But from experience, I've increased my range of motion and flexibility by doing yoga and various other stretches every day. I'd still like to learn and do more though.
