Not any better than the locals. We're all hiding in our local gas stations whenever forced outside.
How many socks do you wear per feet, in this kind of cold, 2? Can you wear sneakers and not get your feet frozen?? How much clothes do you usually put on when the wintertime arrives?
Nah, here it's warm and nice. :3: Between -20 and -30 in most of the country this morning.
Uh, in what wooden cabin in the middle of the woods do you live in? It doesn't go below -15 here in gotheburg.
And here's me thinking -1 is cold.
And the scots put on something under their kilt.
Without discretion.
Mexicans die, Americans run away, Canadians put on a coat, Russians bitch about the heat
Run away? How about carpet bomb that shit? :patriot:
I'm glad I live south in Norway only -17 here
What about the Muslims? There are 15% Muslims in my city.
That isn't a country.
And here's me thinking -1 is cold.
Around here, the lowest temperatures could go in winter is -7°C, -8°C... and I consider that "pretty fucking cold" already :/
Run away? How about carpet bomb that shit? :patriot:
American tanks won't start if it's below freezing I'd hate to see what your planes do
American tanks won't start if it's below freezing I'd hate to see what your planes do
Our planes are fine below freezing. :smug:
Around here, the lowest temperatures could go in winter is -7°C, -8°C... and I consider that "pretty fucking cold" already :/
Where I live, -8 is still just "throw a hoodie on over your tshirt" weather
It's -10ish in Oslo and I think that's bad. Thanks god I don't live where you live.
[img_thumb]http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/627/snowmobile1.jpg[/img_thumb] is pretty fun
Actually, it's more like
Actually, it's more like [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1467131/this.jpg[/img_thumb]
That's after you go through the ice
American tanks won't start if it's below freezing I'd hate to see what your planes do
It's not like the local armies have it any better. Finnish Defense Forces often put bonfires under truck engines to make them start in really cold temperatures. Oh yeah, and this guy told me they managed to lose an APC in the snow. Imagine giving that report. I heard it was humorous yet scary at the same time. It apparently went something like "Sarge, the APC is gone" "What, what do you mean gone!?"
this thread made me remember -C isn't as cold as -F
How many socks do you wear, in this kind of cold, 2? Can you wear snickers and not get your feet frozen?? How much clothes do you usually put on when the wintertime arrives?
Well, I guess I can be blamed for caring more about clothes fashion than actual health. But nobody expects the [del]Spanish inquisition[/del] flash cold. It's normally around -10 degrees here in the winter.
No one expects the Spanish inquisition.
Ninja'd by 4 days in another thread. [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline]
this thread made me remember -C isn't as cold as -F
In that temp it only misses by 5 degrees.
this thread made me remember -C isn't as cold as -F
They meet at -40, the Fahrenheit scale is fucked up
They meet at -40, the Fahrenheit scale is fucked up
Yeah, I live in the US but I use celsius because it's way easier
helvete! -31 is nothing up here, i nord-østerdalen, it was below -40 for like a month last winter brrrr
Fahrenheit is the most stupid measurement still in existence. Nothing is more stupid than it.
Fahrenheit is the most stupid measurement still in existence. Nothing is more stupid than it.
Stones
Pfff they're expecting the temperature in Moscow to reach -40 this winter. It was -27 today. -35 last year.
nord-østerdalenr
Don't cross out your letters when you make a mistake just use the backspace key
Eat that, global warming. I rated heart to keep you warm.
Stones
The only strange thing about Stone (you don't say s on the end...) is that there are 14lbs to one. But then you could say equally that 24 hours in the day is stupid.
