-17 tonight in my part of Ireland
The only strange thing about Stone (you don't say s on the end...) is that there are 14lbs to one. But then you could say equally that 24 hours in the day is stupid.
pounds are weird too
pounds are weird too
Lol what? They are a proportionate measurement, what's wierd about them?
Congratulations! You are now colder than mars.
Actual temperature measurements from the Viking landers range from −17.2 °C to −107 °C.
One of my friends lives in Finland and he says it's fucking cold there.
Luckely I've fucked up my sleeping habit so I wake up around 14:00 every day and then go to work. So it's not THAT cold when I go out. Only -15 c. Also I live in Oslo, so not same area as OP, but not very far away. My dad told me it was -22 c when he got up for work at 06:30
Toasty 299.67 Kelvin over here! :smug:
For Americans, that is -24.9 degrees Fahrenheit
In minnesota winter 2008 we had a nasty cold front that brought -25 to -40F temps, with wind on top of that. shit's cold.
A few weeks ago outside of Prince George, British Columbia, we had temperatures hitting -37, and with wind chill it was close to -50. Not the coldest i've experienced around here though
I live in Florida and it got to about 35F degrees this morning and I felt bad, I seriously couldn't even imagine the feeling of -30.
23c no probs
Where I live, -8 is still just "throw a hoodie on over your tshirt" weather
where i live 32 is still just "k sweater is a little warm now" weather
Last year it was like -45 here.
You should try Georgia, USA. In North Georgia it's like the same season year around because it never really gets too hot and gets around freezing maybe once or twice per year.
And I thought minus 10 was bad over here It's still bad though! :frown:
I remember walking to school (About 10-15 minutes) in -25°C a few times last year, fucking brutal. [editline]1st December 2010[/editline]
Fahrenheit is the most stupid measurement still in existence. Nothing is more stupid than it.
Agreed! Celsius makes a lot of sense: Freezing is 0 and boiling is 100
You should try Georgia, USA. In North Georgia it's like the same season year around because it never really gets too hot and gets around freezing maybe once or twice per year.
Why would anyone willingly go to Georgia
I wish we got more snow where i live, all it is is fucking cold days and wind up the ass, all there is is packed down snow that is no fun at all.
Pfah. That isn't even -40, you girly man. Zeke, you live in Saskatchewan, you should know how much colder it gets here sometimes.
One of my friends lives in Finland and he says it's fucking cold there.
-23 C last morning, not too cold yet.
For Americans, that is -24.9 degrees Fahrenheit
I'm American, and I stopped using Fahrenheit long ago.
Why would anyone willingly go to Georgia
When you need a soul to steal.
Where I live, -8 is still just "throw a hoodie on over your tshirt" weather
And that's usually what I do, eventually I'd throw in a jacket if it's too windy, but most people around here is like "HURR DURR OH GAWD IT'S SO FUCKEN COLD OUT THERE!!" and they wear a fuckton of jackets, scarves, gloves, anything they can get their hands on :v:
Ha ha its 30 degrees average here in australia
BTW, it's springtime around here... 28°C right now... any of you guys wanna trade some cold for some heat? :v:
Pfah. That isn't even -40, you girly man. Zeke, you live in Saskatchewan, you should know how much colder it gets here sometimes.
I live up north, so I don't get the winds that you guys get down on the prairie.
We had nearly -20 here in Lofoten. (Northern Norway)
I'm American, and I stopped using Fahrenheit long ago.
Ye damn socialist, why don'cha go back to France?
Its -4.7 Celsius here(Yes, I'm American.)
Mexicans die, Americans run away, Canadians put on a coat, Russians bitch about the heat
:v: Anyways, that's fucking cold.
