-9C here in Sandnes(South-West Norway). We are good at adapting though. I still see a lot of people walking around in sweaters. Even saw a couple of people yesterday wearing shorts :/
Not too bad here in Stavanger either, I'm still wearing just a light coat, and a t-shirt. Dere må slutte å bitche, det er faen mye værre med ekstrem varme.
Record for my area last year was -54c with wind. School wasn't even fucking canceled that day.
Meh. Here in Canada thats the average winter time temperature. We grown immune to it. But, you get sick of it eventually after living here for so long. Moving to Cali soon.
Dere må slutte å bitche, det er faen mye værre med ekstrem varme.
No. I went to Florida last year, nearly 40 degrees Celsius. I swam in a pool all day, then chilled with the AC on in my room with some friends. 10 x better. Although, if you add high humidity, like the time I was in Philadelphia earlier this year. It was about 40-43 degrees Celsius, some heat records were set. But the humidity was a killer. Ice cream all time erry day. Nevertheless, I prefer extreme heat.
Wow, I was freezing my tits off at like -7 degrees the other day, I feel for you bro :saddowns:

When you experience extreme heat like this, you wish to die - unlike when it's extremely cold(imo). This is why I love Montana, and Norway. I guess we can agree to disagree.
Our sink doesn't work at home because the water froze. :v:
http://www.yr.no/nyheter/1.7405814 Christ, the tides have changed. (It says that the northliest place in Norway is the hottest with +5 degrees, which is what I normally have this time of year )
I hate living here. I swear to God, as soon as I have enough money I am moving my ass out of here! So I'll reside in Florida for the rest of my freakin life. FU Norway.
Le Fu Norway.
This thread needs more pics from norway, preferably to show how high the snow is.
This thread needs more pics from norway, preferably to show how high the snow is.
Yeah but there not so much snow everywhere yet. Now last year, the snow was shit crazy. But now there's like just 1 inch of snow in the east and cold as shit
Mexicans die, Americans run away, Canadians put on a coat, Russians bitch about the heat
Not us Americans in Michigan. Our two seasons are Winter and almost winter.
Here in the west there's no snow at all, it's just damn cold.
this thread made me remember -C isn't as cold as -F
Fahrenheit is a stupid system anyways.
So basically Hell froze over in 2006?
Hell freezes over every year.
This thread needs more pics from norway, preferably to show how high the snow is.
I'll take some pictures later today, but it's only been snowing 10-15 inches. [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] I'll take a picture of the ice statue that used to be my friend. [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] Or a guy in what looks like a bomb squad suit, but is actually the bus driver trying to un-freeze the bus engine.
There's no snow at all here where I live. Just sunny and cold. Currently -6C
I'm so manly the cold doesn't bother me.
-8 C here in Finland where I live, and sunny. Beautiful weather. Could be colder. About the sock question, we Finns never wear more than one pair of socks, unless we're going skiing or ice skating. Or at least I never do.
Only reached about -20°C here in Telemark. [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline]
Not too bad here in Stavanger either, I'm still wearing just a light coat, and a t-shirt. Dere må slutte å bitche, det er faen mye værre med ekstrem varme.
Jeg elsker varme.
cool
It's all that black metal.
Sucks to be you, although I reckon the temperature will be the same in Finland in about 2-4 weeks or less. Right now it's only like -10
I love Finland about -25C here. Or what dunpeal said
I hear the weather in Norway is pretty chill.
here in Askim (South east Norway) it's -18 right now killiam, det er lettere og billigere å kjøle seg ned når det er varmt enn å varme seg når det er kaldt. Jeg kjører bare med takluka oppe og vinduene nede så er jeg kjølig nok jeg
Just went from -7 C to -2 C here.
Only -5 C here in Finland atm, but it was around 20-10 C last week.
