I'm just going to drop some shameless pictures I took while going on a trip with my brother in Italy. Sorry if the pictures are to large.
The mountain we climbed is called Sasso Piatto which is almost 3000m high. It is located in South Tyrol, in the Dolomites. It was truly an amazing experience.

I've been there twice, it's an amazing place.

I miss these mountains so much
Shit man, those pics are far better. When I went there with my brother we started from your last pic and when between both mountains, then around them and to the peak of the Sasso Piatto. It was one hell of a trip. Also the wind gap between both mountains is impressive, especially with the clouds around.
Awesome pics dude.
I am going to add another one from the Odesa National Parc in Spain, in the Pyrenees region. A shame my camera isn't that great. The scale of this place was enormous. Also from that point on there was a huge drop down.

What an ignorant comment. How would you even get this impression?

Fun fact, I got engaged in this exact spot.
Her first words when she turned around and saw me on one knee were "Get up ya bastard!"
She did say yes afterwards though :3
The middle of a canal is a terrible place to propose no wonder she told you that :v:
But it is a good place to throw yourself if you get rejected

Poor Afghanistan
I kind of like their Soviet flag though, despite what it represents
Since I know that there's several history nerds here I wanted to share with you a Swedish propaganda post created in 1941 that is still used today (although on a much smaller scale).
"En Svensk Tiger"
[t]https://i.redd.it/2odzhds2yy101.jpg[/t]
Created by the State Board of Information (SIS in Swedish) as part of the Vigilance Campaign that started on the 21st of November, 1941, this poster still represents an important message with the ever-present and looming death of Russia. Originally its purpose was to encourage swedes to keep quiet regarding matters that could hurt the neutrality of Sweden (sensitive politics, military intelligence, etc.) similar to the American "loose lips sink ships" and the British "careless talk costs lives" propaganda posters.
"En Svensk Tiger" is clever in the regard that the sentence has a double-meaning: while it is directly translated into "a swedish tiger" is can also mean "a swede keeps silent", this to represent the vigilant watch of the public to counter foreign intelligence and to represent the valuable message of not revealing secrets.
Even to this day you'll hear folks mutter "en svensk tiger" if someone brings up military exercises or posts videos/images of convoys travelling along the highway, although most of the time the folks that (m)utter it are middle-aged men whom went the mandatory propaganda classes during the Cold War.
While I personally believe that alot of people can be overly-paranoid I have, being a military man myself, seen several things directly related to information warfare (quadcopters are a bitch to track when camouflaged by pines). It is very common for SAF personnel to go near-complete old school as in minimum tech and no GPS. This to prevent tracking by "third parties".

I think this misses Sierra Leone, the current flag is the republic flag but they were independent for 10 years before that and had a different flag.

This image looks edited, particularly the eyes.
I'm unable to find the source of the image.

Man I really hate Reddit for its incredible ability to obfuscate sources.

Found a nearly identical photo of the same snake edited somewhat differently.
Still no source though, but it confirms my suspicions.

Thank you. I see this viper photoshopped with even more ridiculous colours so many times on tumblr and pinterest as clickbait. They're beautiful enough as is!

My camp was right beside the civilian airport, when one of the officers was shouting at me(wasn't even using my camera) I told him we have a airport right beside with helicopters always hovering and planes landing.
He shut up
I'll drop few others I took while being in France near the spanish border. The place is called Bagnères-de-Luchon although I do not remember the name of the peak that we climbed. Needless to say it was breathtaking.
We had a picnic at the top and it's just an amazing feeling to be so high and just enjoying a good meal.

This was the peak, at some parts you really had to climb some rocks. It was quite slippery and dangerous.

Motörhead's Bomber lighting rig has always been a very impressive bit of kit to me. Performance lighting like that isn't exactly lightweight nowadays even with LEDs, so to have that many big bastard halogen lamps on a metal frame like that, easily weighing a couple of hundred kilos on its own, pitching and diving a couple of metres away must have been a bit terrifying to say the least. A different version of the rig was used on the final tour in support of the Bad Magic album, a bit of a different look to the whole thing but very impressive nonetheless.

Airbourne also featured a version of the Bomber in the video for their tribute song, It's All For Rock And Roll

I wish I'd been able to see it in action, but unfortunately I never got a chance to.

This one is in Picos de Europa, in Asturias. This place is normally heavily crowded if you go on spring and summer, I took this photo in november so we were pretty much alone

Fuente Dé. Cantabria, close to Picos de Europa. The only way to get up there was through a cable car. Is a bit blurry but you can see the station at the top
