Named for John Ringling of the famous circus family, which at one time owned several large tracts of land in the area, providing winter quarters for the circus. Once boasting a large grain building, several railroad tracks and as a community center for local ranchers, by 1980 when the Milwaukee pulled out, the town was well on its way to vanishing into the Montana landscape. Under partly cloudy April skies the old depot at Ringling continues to slowly crumble. The bridge for US Hwy 89 has been taken down, since there is no need to pass over the gravel trail of tractors when a slab of asphalt will do now.
Source: https://www.facebook.com/groups/abandonedrails/permalink/1232125350154311/
July of 1973 an eastbound Milwaukee freight travels along the new Interstate 90 in western Montana.
[T]https://scontent-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13533313_307504676253402_7752004994856432426_n.jpg?oh=1869c44911cc9448eb35caea5708462e&oe=58017A62[/T]
Four-plus decades later and the railroad has fallen away, replaced by the concrete pad that carries vehicles over it at 80+mph.
Source: https://www.facebook.com/groups/abandonedrails/permalink/1230832670283579/
[t]http://www.slate.com/content/dam/slate/blogs/the_vault/2014/09/25/1LgThibault.jpg[/t] thumbed because positively huge. This is a diagram from Gérard Thibaults fencing treatise, the diagrams cover not only some basic anatomy, but also where to hit, what lines of attack to use, and also what lines of footwork to cover, all in one image. [editline]7th July 2016[/editline] Btw, the full translated name of the treatise is Academy of the Sword: wherein is demonstrated by mathematical rules on the foundation of a mysterious circle the theory and practice of the true and heretofore unknown secrets of handling arms on foot and horseback

Truly a strong man, able to climb all the way up there after his tragic accident that cost him his legs.
There's a little bit of KenM in all of us.
Dolt.
What the heck is going on with that background though, photoshopped or something?
Anyone else think some of the background in that image looks hella photoshopped? There's some weird smudging going on back there.
Well it's a panorama shot with a smartphone. I tends to produce artifacts here and there, such as that one guy missing his legs.

Each of its buds has a sharp, tooth-like edge that is used to clamp on to prey and inject copious amounts of paralyzing neurotoxins. Though usually not dangerous to humans, the pain is considered immense, equal to that of Bullet Ants. In 1930, Japanese marine biologist Tsutomu Fujiwara described the bite of the flower urchin:
Instantly, I felt a severe pain resembling that caused by the cnidoblast of Coelenterata, and I felt as if the toxin were beginning to move rapidly to the blood vessel from the stung area towards my heart. After a while, I experienced a faint giddiness, difficulty of respiration, paralysis of the lips, tongue and eyelids, relaxation of muscles in the limbs, was hardly able to speak or control my facial expression, and felt almost as if I were going to die. About 15 minutes afterwards, I felt that pains gradually diminish and after about an hour they disappeared completely. But the facial paralysis like that caused by cocainization continued for about six hours.

Well it's a panorama shot with a smartphone. I tends to produce artifacts here and there, such as that one guy missing his legs.
The guy missing his legs isn't a panorama bug, there's a small drop between the foremost guy and the three others, it's noticable with the rightmost guy's feet as well. The background seems to be some sort of farming area. It also seems like it could be an older picture possibly?
was the person's skull like that while still alive?
Quite possibly. Judging by the deformation of the upper jaw and the way the teet are pushed, it took place over time. The person probably suffered immense pain and mental disabilities. I'm going to see if I can find more info. [editline]12th July 2016[/editline] From the webternet:
possible fungal granuloma or benign space occupying lytic mass. Metastatic cancer probably wouldn’t get this big before the person died

?
Literally, that's probably what happened. If it was a soft cyst that just pushed the bone out of the way, the eye was either hyper enlarged or just fuckin' popped. Or, more grossly, got absorbed and pushed back into the skull, etc.
